Stopped here for some lunch on way from work & had the Philly cheesesteak, I’m not one to write reviews but it was one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had, spending most time on roads leaves me with very little options especially when I try to eat low calorie and high protein so coming across this place made my day! Bonus points for having alternative options for milk! Would totally recommend 10/10.

Just popped into town looking for breakfast and fortunately this was the first place I came across. The Eggs Benedict was the best I've ever had. Perfect, runny poached eggs, beautifully crisp bacon and a generous amount of lemony hollandaise (no idea why some places are do stingy with this). The coffee was rich and delicious and the service was impeccable. I’ll have to find an excuse to come to Prestatyn again to eat at this gem of a place.

My favourite place in Crawley! Really good sushi and sashimi and AMAZIN ramen! You must try! I love the green spicy crab ramen, the dragon rolls and the spider rolls. Really good quality and really good price

Came to Toast ar Braintree today (Weds) and had my usual latte and strawberry jam on brown, and I was not disappointed! 😁 Excellent happy cheerful service, as I always get from the girls in today. Food was hot when it arrived, and delicious as usual: Couldn't get the lid off my latte, although I put that down to my age! 🤭 Room was a perfect temperature also: Only started noticing room temperatures after finding upstairs at Tesco is unbearably hot! Music was a perfect level also; loud enough to hear, but quite enough to not be offensive or to prohibit normal conversation. All in all, the Toast I know and love. Would definitely recommend; yes, you can toast your own bread at home for cheaper, it is nice to be able to go out for something to eat and be sitting in a coffee shop with lots of flavoured toppings, bread types and drinks, rather than having to choose which variation of a fried or 'English' breakfast to have. I also noted today that they do porridge; another bonus, and change, from the usual 'greasy spoon' which generally is the only place for morning food. Besides, someone else toasting my bread, for breakfast, makes the experience wonderful and chilled! Very happy 😊

Visited here for a late breakfast. Despite a blown fuse in the kitchen the staff kept us fully informed and did their best to get our food to us as quickly as possible. When it arrived the food was excellent, tasty and good portion sizes. They were also happy to bring out a birthday cake that we brought despite them selling their own cakes and pastries. Staff were super friendly

Excellent brunch, great service, really good VFM and very relaxed atmosphere. We had toasted sourdough French baguette, coffees and teas which were all excellent. I’m a bread lover and try to make my own and have to say the whole meal and white sourdough baguettes here are streets ahead of what I can produce and as good as anything I’ve tasted anywhere. The young team working in the patisserie were very friendly, chatty, efficient and seemed to be very engaged in providing a great service in a very clean and well looked after restaurant. Highly recommended.

Went back in the first week it opend, excited to try it as it looked so good on social media running up to opening... First of all disappointed with the interior design..i thought it would have had more of a steak house feel...instead it had just been freshly paintd and looked exactly same as charlies bar that it used to be. It could have been fantastic with the correct styling. The service was terrible , young girls waiting on, didn't ask us for drinks, bring menues etc,we got them ourselfs because were sick of waiting...after 2 hours!!.. we had only just had mains, never even got asked about dessert, so gave up paid & left..gave them benefit of doubt as it was new. Thought it was just teething problems because food was good. But we went recently to try it again... im sad to say its not changed...the service was terrible... we had to ask for drinks, wait ages to order despite only 2 other tables in the whole place. Waited over an hour for food to come after ordering and it wasn't as though they were busy, lots of staff and only 2 other groups in the place. When it did come mine was cold, semt as though it had been cooked an left whilst waiting for other orders in our party were prepared. When they came to clear table, they moved half of stuff then wandered off, leaving the rest on the table, all the rib bones, 2 of our plates, an loads of empty glasses . It was like he'd got sidetracked an forgot what he was doing. When we asked for the bill they brought it, then we waited half an hour an nobody came for the money, so went to till to pay,the waiters were all stood on end of bar playing on mobile phones!. If they had done their job right we would have probably had desert an another drink, but we were just fed up of sitting waiting. Food was not good this time either... steak had grisstle, ribs were grissle and fat, colslaw was watery an looked like it has been sat in the pot a week. Definitely wont bother trying it again. Such a shame. It needs someone in charge directing the younger waitresses, because there seems to be plenty of staff but nobody seems to know what they are doing an just wander about waiting for you to ask for service. All these people saying how good it is, iv no idea where you normally eat, but this is by far one of the worse meals out we have had in a very long time. The lady on the bar was good tho, very friendly.

Didn’t have to wait long for our food but the staff serving us didn’t ask if we wanted or sauces/vinegar or told us where they were. Smallest jacket potato we have ever been served, no oil on bland salad & scrawnist chicken I have ever been served, as many bones as there were meat & didn’t enjoy it had had to scrape the meat off the bones. Toilets very clean though

We visited Matsuya in Pinner when it was a Indian restaurant and the food was fairly average. It has since kept its name but changed its cuisine focus to Nosh & Cheese. The menu is very confusing as it seems the restaurant hasn’t quite figured out their new identity since they moved away from Indian cuisine. We ordered the torpedo potato fries which we were told were very crispy. This was an understatement ! One could only describe the fries as soft, soggy and we immediately regretted ordering it. We also ordered the humous and zaatar. One member of staff described it as a naan with zaatar spices when in fact it was a chewy hard baked flat bread. This would not be a big deal if the bread had been served soft & hot but it was cold & hard and you could easily bounce it off the floor. I would highly highly recommend avoiding this venue even if it attempts to reinvent itself yet again !
