Four Seasons Bistro in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Went inside the bistro today was welcomed very friendly by the waitress. Went and sat down and the tables were very disgusting and sticky!! I don’t think the owner the realises how bad they are and my friends have said the same thing each time they go in there.. It’s gone quite now because there’s always screaming and shouting coming from the kitchen.. never coming back to this place

Very warm & friendly atmosphere, food is lovely so is coffee, great little place our third time returning, everytime we are near here we pop in, we'll wort the visit & dog friendly too.

Really disappointed,☹️ after ordering black coffee and a slice of cake,waited a good fifteen minutes,cake came upside down and didn’t look very appetising,she did say she was sorry she didn’t no what had happened,when paying the bill for two black coffees and two small pieces of cake it came to £20.60,not good value for money ☹️

We wandered in with friends on a Thursday evening and the food exceeded our expectations. Two of us ordered the sea bass and it was delicious — not overcooked and the accompanying vegetables complimented it. The risotto and lasagna were also excellent. Good value for the price. Wine selection was good and the homemade desserts were superb.

Nice sounding menu and nice decor but the service was fairly poor and the food wasn’t great. The pasta dish was drowning in oil and the risotto was fairly bland. Final item (which lost any chance of a tip) was the 50p charge for a take away box for 2 slices of pizza after we spent £86 on a meal! Overall didn’t leave feeling like they wanted any repeat business or really cared about the customer

We were last in Prestatyn a few years back and enjoyed this restaurant greatly, so we were looking forward to returning. They seem to have greatly expanded their menu since then but I don't think that's necessarily a good thing. We really loved the Welsh Rarebit the last time we were there but it's no longer on the menu, which was disappointing. I had the haddock risotto. It was pretty tasty, with a perfectly poached egg on top. However the portion was HUGE. Seriously they could have halved the portion and it would still be too much for the average person. I have a gastric bypass so can't eat much, so I ended up leaving a huge amount of food, which the waitress seemed to want an explanation for! My partner had fish and chips but sadly the fish was overcooked. My eldest son had pizza but he said it wasn't great and he didn't eat it all, which is unusual for him when it comes to pizza. Our youngest just had a plain jacket potato, which obviously can't really go wrong. I think they need to focus on a smaller number of dishes and excel in them, as they did when we last visited and review their portions!

Very family oriented good choice of food we had vegetarians who also had a good choice. Prices were reasonable too. Overall a good experience

Fabulous find. Diverted on our way along A55. Welcoming and professional Italian bistro. Lovley decorated. Menu has something for everyone. The lasagne was the best ever according to my son. I had a hadock and prawn risotto- it was delicious and well presented .others in our group were also pleased . We will def go again. The photos of the bistro are old I think, as looks much nicer now

Just popped into town looking for breakfast and fortunately this was the first place I came across. The Eggs Benedict was the best I've ever had. Perfect, runny poached eggs, beautifully crisp bacon and a generous amount of lemony hollandaise (no idea why some places are do stingy with this). The coffee was rich and delicious and the service was impeccable. I’ll have to find an excuse to come to Prestatyn again to eat at this gem of a place.

Friendly staff and generous portions benefits from the sunny side of the street with it’s outside tables lovely coffee at lunch and good choice of dinner plates

We have tried this place three times and been disappointed. We thought first time might just have been bad luck but my husband had gammon last week and it was the most unappetising lump of grey sinew I’ve ever seen. I had lasagne but at £15+ It was basic with limp salad and a garlic bread I couldn’t bite. Won’t be going again!

Try the four cheeses pizza it is something different to all the other shops n it left a good impression really nice staff but struggled to communicate

Ordered our food looked really good i had a chicken burger and it was unedidble the chicken was over cooked and like a brick I didnt complain just paid my bill and left.

It was really nice atmosphere. The food is authentic. Typical Italian dishes and something more. Lemon & garlic chicken was incredible. Will definitely come again.

We do breakfast in a serious yet relaxed way; scouring north wales for quality produce properly cooked, served hot, not quickly nor slowly but in reasonable time to make us trust it has been cooked freshly. We order a ‘full welsh’ or equivalent, and usually poached eggs to test the ‘freshly cooked’ part of the deal. This cafe had great atmosphere from the start with a friendly & attentive welcome, seating by a heater as requested (the weather had turned to freezing rain), menus delivered, order taken, hot drinks served nice and tidy. All customers seemed to be regulars and the efficient lady in charge knew each one enough to connect in a genuinely warm way. She was definitely the main cog in the well-oiled workings. The meals were fab, tasty & super-hot and remained so throughout. Poached eggs need to be specified as runny-yolked when ordering I would suggest, even though this can easily be sorted later, and my one criticism is that I prefer a very rich orange yolk and am prepared to pay extra for a Burford Brown if this was on offer. Tea & flat white were very decent sizes and had great flavours, and we really appreciated the fact that the tea was part of the full breakfast price. Certainly we shall return!

Have visited several times and this visit was no exception. Great choice on the menu, everything we've had from it is lovely. The service is amazing - they go out of their way to make our children feel welcome! Love visiting here!

Looks great from the outside but service poor. Ordered my cappuccino and when it arrived the waitress put the saucer down separate from the cup!! Waited in excess of 20 min for food. When it finally arrived my lamb was drowned in a gravy bowl and it looked nothing llike description on menu. Couldn't find the potatoes due to excess gravy. Devoid of taste and perhaps a spoon would have helped!! Little notice taken of disappointment in dish but hey rewarded with two drumstick lollies on payment of bill. Avoid

Very good quality food. Both adult & children’s meals were substantial with plenty of flavour. Kids loved the milkshakes.

We had drinks. Scone & carrot cake which was very fresh & tasty. We returned for a meal on our second day which was also very good. Thank you Boby

Tried this place on our way home .. wish we’d gone elsewhere! We ordered coffee while we looked at the menu. Two flat whites with soya milk as they had no oat. Worst coffee ever.. split lumpy milk and burnt tasting coffee. We should have left. We ordered a seafood platter to share. This arrived 30 mins after ordering and consisted mainly of chips and a limp salad. The king prawns and calamari was lovely.. the salmon fishcake and scampi was tasteless and cardboardy. No check back to our table. I had requested water with our food.. and after getting up to find someone twice , I gave up. All in all a very disappointing end to a lovely day.

Looking for a place to eat in Prestatyn! We either fancied an Indian or Italian, and came upon the four seasons. From the out side we thought it looked charming and welcoming, so thought ok let’s give this place a try. The lovely lady was very friendly and informed us we could sit wherever we like, but the other side was cooler ( it was a very hot humid evening) so we took her up on her advice, there was a few other couples sat down dining too. It wasn’t too noisey or over crowded, we had enough privacy and over looked the water feature. Inside had a good vibe with nice music and foliage all around, real and artificial. We ordered our drinks snd food, which all arrived freshly cook and hot. I ordered the fungi starter and my husband ordered the chicken wings Mains I had penne aribatta and my husband had seafood platter We both agreed my starter was nicer, my main was delicious too, my husband’s was nice but not what we expected we thought it would of arrived not all being battered and fried, but that’s our mistake from not asking! It was still delicious but very generous portions. We found the service, food and atmosphere was all lovely we will definitely return and give something else a try from their menu. A nice cosy restaurant with a friendly bistro atmosphere. Quite an extensive and varied menu with something there to suit all tastes. Think Mediterranean meets North Wales and you will be on point. Attentive and helpful staff, delicious food and be sure to leave room for one of their eye-popping desserts. Highly recommended.
