Fab place with lovely vibe and the best staff ever! I enjoyed a yummy dirty snicker thick shake this week when I visited for the first time, it was unbelievable!!! I’ll be back.

We were around nearby for rockpooling and a carboot so figured we would pop into Newquay for a bite. We chose this cafe as it had good reviews and the pictures of food looked good. We both ordered the vegan breakfast, and I had a cappuccino and my partner had tea. Coffee was lovely with oat milk. Breakfast came quickly and it was huge. Sausage was about the length of the plate. We also got vegan spread and any sauce we wanted. The tofu scramble was really tasty. Sausage was garlicky and delicious. I didn’t like the mushrooms as they were buttery and the stalks a bit tough but my partner loved them so more a case of taste I think. You also get thick toast, cherry tomatoes and a tomato bean mix a bit like homemade baked beans. We were both so full when we finished, and we bought cake to go. It is a little pricey but I think the value is there in the quality and the size of the portions. The lady serving was especially lovely and very personable. I should also add that I absolutely LOVED the decor. We will be back to try the vegan Sunday roast!

Popped in for lunch on Saturday without our vegan son and liked it so much that we returned for Sunday lunch. The first day I had a fabulous Buddha bowl. Sunday lunch was a non-traditional roast of vegetables. The vegan bakewell was to die for. Their lattes also pleased my discerning daughter.

We found this restaurant while out walking and really enjoyed the food and drinks we were served. The cafe had a very relaxed feel and even though it is not in the main area is worth a visit.

Vegan or veggie really well looked after, chef is excellent, service is friendly and very very helpful. Relaxed and chilled here, alternative milks and fab drinks.

This was easily the best cafe in Newquay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. There was such a varied option of food we went three times! We had breakfast one day, lunch the other and a sunday roast on our final day. All were at a good quality. Also there were some nice cakes to take home which never lasted the journey home as they tasted so nice.

The service was truly welcoming. The food was delicious, ample and fresh. Great bohemian feel to this place . I loved the food the atmosphere the whole being of this place oozes genuinely and relaxation. Great staff and I even got to meet the local muggi xxx

Our last day in Newquay and we decided to have breakfast here before we left and I'm so glad we did!! This is a lovely little cafe with a great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. There was a mix of beggie and vegan breakfasts and I went for the coconut granola and yoghurt. Everyone was really pleased with their choice and although mine was a lighter option boy did it fill me up with loads of fresh fruit, homemade granola and a thick Greek yoghurt...I'll definitely be back!!

I had a great experience at this cafe! It’s so comfortable and the staff are just the sweetest! The food is AMAZING! And it’s VEGAN! So happy I found this place and I came back two more times haha. 10/10 recommend the avocado milkshake too, it’s surprisingly delicious!

I love it at the green heart. Am quite a regular here but only for breakfast which is divine, fresh and homemade! If you have never tried scrambled tofu, this is the place to have. I did manage to try lunch the other day with my girlfriend and we were both blown away by the goodness of it! If you want a fab Buddha bowl, look no further. To top this amazing establishment of, the staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home. always looking to go out there way. Will definitely be heading back more and more.

My fiancé and I came for breakfast here while on holiday in Newquay. He had the vegetarian breakfast and I had the vegan option. The food was hearty very tasty. The cafe is cosy and peaceful and has plenty of options for vegan food and drink. The staff here were also welcoming and attentive.

Found this cafe after googling vegan places- what a find!! The host was super friendly, and the chef came out to talk to me as im vegan, gluten free AND alium intollerant!! He makes everything fresh so he pretty much gave me full choice from the menu and made me a gorge roasted tomato soup. I'm so used to being told that everythign has onions and garlic in so I end up with little or no choice so I was ELATED! Gorge food, great vegan cakes. We even went back the next day on route to the airport to get some takeaway cake or a final fix! Thanks guys!!

We had the vegan breakfast and I must say me and my partner were so impressed! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the cafe was full of lots of quirkyness! We would love to come back when we are in the area again:)

Cosy, tucked away vegan cafe, sat outside and almost forgot to pay but the waitress was very kind and the smoothies were awesome!

Nothing short of amazing. Food is amazing and the lady that rubs the place is a genuinely lovely human being. I had to give her a hug when I left she’s great. Zepher the dog left a massive impression on us what a great time and place. My kids want us to make a 5 hour drive just to go back

Brilliant food, friendly staff/ owner and cosy surroundings. Been here year after year and never disappoints. Spent a lovely relaxing 2 hours. The perfect unwind following Fistral surf. Look forward to visiting you again.

We visited here for lunch on our way to fistral beach and were very glad we did. The food is amazing, fresh and generous portions. I had the special Buddha bowl which had lots of things of goodness in it. So tasty and felt very satisfied afterwards!! The smoothies are great too as is the coffee. It’s just a shame we don’t live in Newquay to enjoy this all the time! Staff were friendly and it’s a cosy cafe with nice outside area out the front. We highly recommend!

My husband and I stumbled across this cafe by accident and are so glad we did. I've been a vegan for a long time (24 years) and whilst I'll admit choice has got better cakes always run a risk of being sweetened with something odd like avocado. Anyway I couldn't decide which one to have so being decadent I had one of each the pineapple coconut one was absolutely amazing. I was tempted to ask for the recipe. The others were also good but this was off the scale good. Carnivorous husband also agreed it beat many a dairy cake hands down. They do serve dairy milk so you can have milky lattes if you have a non vegan companion which many vegan cafes don't do so that's nice. I found the staff to be very warm and friendly. Offered me dog biscuits for the my dog. Dog friendly both indoors and outside seating area. Would most definitely visit again.

Top food, stay away from the chef, and your fine.

Slightly off the beaten track but well worth the minor detour. It’s worth a visit for the coffee alone, but the food also is most delicious. A great choice for vegetarians and vegans in a friendly and eclectic environment. Now amongst my most favourite places in Cornwall. Almost forgot to mention .... very dog friendly.

We saw a small sign for this cafe on our way through town, and were very glad we went to seek it out! We had a delicious breakfast and the surrounding art made it a unique experience to boot! Highly recommended for veggie and vegan visitors - really high quality and interesting dishes on offer.

Lovely vibe, friendly staff, fab quirky decor and absolutely delicious food! Even my non-vegan partner loved his meal. No vegan junk food just pure wholesome, homemade yumminess :)

We are not vegetarians or vegans but we really enjoy freshly prepared food and we certainly were not disappointed. Amazing food in a relaxing setting with excellent service- who could ask for more. Highly recommend this place.

This was a wonderful find on the road opposite Fistral Beach car park entrance. Dog friendly, great atmosphere, delicious home-cooked food. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast here and highly recommend it.

Popped in here with my dad before taking the dogs for a walk around Newquay and couldn't be happier that we did.

Wow, this was well worth the money. We called here after checking for vegan cafes in Newquay and we were presented with food that was full of taste, imaginative and unique. We went for the full monty breakfast at 7.50 each along with a sharing roast and sweet potatoes dip consisting of a tomato relish, hummus with turmeric and guacamole(this was an additional 7.50 and a snack in itself). This would have been better as a sharing starter, or a snack however it was delivered with the mains so we just got stuck in. The breakfast consisted of homemade beans, mushrooms, proper thick toast, choice of egg, I had poached and my wife had scrambled vegan tofo, homemade vegan sausage, hash brown and cherry tomatoes. We finished by sharing a chocolate brownie with their vegan ice cream. Delicious and we both agreed it was one of the tastiest meals we had eaten. If you are vegan/vegetarian and you welcome imaginative food then this is a must visit. They also do some amazing vegan shakes. I have read some reviews that say this is expensive, however you get what you pay for and in this case a unique, tasty, healthy eating experience. Thanks, you deserve to do well.

Spotted some signs to this great little vegan/veggie cafe while exploring beaches in the Newquay area. What a discovery!

While staying outside Newquay, we came upon The Green Heart Cafe by chance. Offering both vegetarian and a dog friendly environment, it was ideal for a morning brunch.

I love this cafe, it's quirky and cosy with lots of yummy cake. The staff are all really lovely and helpful. It's a good place to stop for lunch before a long walk on fistral beach or a relaxed place to get away from the town centre. I would happily visit on my own or with friends and family. Food is affordable, filling and made with love.

Popped in whilst on holiday to Newquay, for a quick snack and coffee. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, with a friendly dog there to greet you! Although the brownies were 4.00 they were enormous!- big enough to share between two or three people. The staff were lovely and hospitable, and very helpful. Will definitely visit when I'm in that neck of the woods.

Just come out of this fantastic cafe with a big smile and full belly :) my husband and I opted for the Full Monty breakfasts and they were AMAZING!!! I had the vegan version and he had he veggie version. Both were outstanding as well as the lattes we had! The staff were all really friendly, chatty and lovely too! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. May pop back for lunch over the weekend we're here in Newquay as the lunch options also looked really yummy!

Both dishes that we ordered were excellent in terms of quality and taste. The menu was more than adequate and their cappuccino excellent

I came in on a Friday morning, wanted to get the granola which had unfortunately run out. Luckily I was just in time before the afternoon rush came in and I received my order in time; other people sat next to me who came shortly after me had to wait for a very long time. The waitress tried to explain by saying everything was made from scratch, but as the cafe was very small it shouldn't have to be that long, and they probably should have warned customers beforehand about the long waiting time.

I had the Chunky Munki for £8.50. It was very tasty and well presented. There was a nice environment too with music in the background. For the four of us it came to £34. Resident dog too.

Turned up, got a menu off the counter sat down after being told someone would take our order.

What a gem and right opposite one of the nicest beaches in Cornwall. I hope those in Newquay realise just how fortunate they are to have this friendly little vegan and vegetarian cafe right on their doorstep?

So glad we found out about this place on our last day here - the best meal we had in Newquay by far. We ordered the vegan meatball sub and the Buddha bowl and had the spirulina smoothie and ginger carrot juice. Place is very cosy and friendly, but most importantly is that the food was simply delicious! We were so full that we couldn't have dessert but took one vegan brownie to go for later - that was also superb. Highly recommend to visit here, vegans especially as it's not easy to find good quality food for vegans in Cornwall.

We were in Newquay for one night working and we are vegans, so were very happy to find this place for breakfast. Walked in to obligatory blond girl in dreads behind the counter and dog sprawled on the floor. So far so vegan. We found a table which was next to the only other occupied table; a group of 5 men in stag-esque matching vests finishing breakfasts. They seemed happy, all looked good. They left, and after about twenty minutes of wondering if Dread Girl was going to come and take our order I approached the counter.

Me and my partner visited this weekend for breakfast and were blown off our feet by the incredible food. The breakfast was clearly all made on site with even their own home made baked beans and we each had a smoothie and milkshake which were delicious. The interior is very beachy and cosy with lovely chilled music playing. Our servers were lovely and we left feeling very uplifted. I would highly recommend this place a visit if you are in Newquay!

A menu outside to consider is needed - we had to go in and ask for a menu which then made us feel obliged to stay. Having said that, the food was good.

Staff were friendly and went over and above to be helpful, great veggie food...is highly recommended and we will be going back!!

I'm a big fan of anywhere that serves all day breakfasts - especially good veggie/vegan ones! I had the 'full monty'; A seriously tasty, healthy and creative take on a veggie breakfast! The café itself is lovely, rustic and artsy, and the staff are super friendly - Especially the resident chocolate Labrador pup!

Had breakfast here when visiting on a surf trip. All the mish mash furniture and local artwork come together to make it a real homely and personal place. The menus are written on pieces of cardboard and everywhere you look you can see the efforts to keep the "green" environmental thought process behind it. The food was incredible - loads of choice for vegans. We only wish we were able to come back for lunch!! Absolutely loved everything about this place!

I visited the cafe twice with friends during my weekend break in Cornwall. First time I had a smoothie (the Sneaky Snickers), which really does taste like a snickers bar, but made with super healthy ingredients. Then we went back for Sunday lunch. We had a nut roast with an amazing array of vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was out of this world! (They even do a vegan option). Literally can't wait to go back to Newquay so I can pay them another visit. Well done to the hard working, friendly and welcoming staff! Thank you!

I arrived at Green HeART Cafe with my vegetarian girlfriend a sceptical meat eater with doubts of ever being full from a meat consisting of purely vegetarian friendly options. To put it bluntly i was amazed at how amazing I sound this place! I had a sandwich and a sharing platter for me and my girlfriend with some vegan power balls for desert and i left feeling energised and healthy! The almond milk latte was ace and the staff were very friendly. definitely worth a look even if you're not veggie!

My wife and son cant have milk so this place was great.

If you're looking for vegan - this is a great place. The menu offered items for everyone including those who didn't eat soy.

Best ever coffee in the whole of Cornwall, served at The Green Heart Cafe. Really smooth but with a good coffee taste. We decided to have a sandwich too and were rewarded with a really tasty toasted bread and a mushroom and Cornish yarg (cheese) filling. This is a veggie, vegan cafe with interesting and tasty looking food. The cake were lovely too to look at but we were so full we didn't indulge. Coupled with friendly, smiley staff, a good place to drop in.

Second time here, last time was two months ago. As good or even possibly better! Very welcoming and casual service makes you feel at home and the food really is incredible. I'd say it's the best place in newquay for vegan / veggie eaters.

Really friendly and relaxed, great with dogs and even our nervous dog relaxed quickly. I really enjoyed the vegan breakfast and had the best smoothie ever. Would highly recommend, and will be back next time we are in the area.

Perfect for gluten free or vegan options, great decoration inside and very smiley staff! There's also a lovely outdoor terrace for when the sun shines in Newquay :)

Popped in to try out their breakfasts. Really good, especially if you're not into your trad English fry up. As a non-vegan I'd definitely recommend going for the full vegan option.

Visited on an April weekend morning for some brunch and was not disappointed! They had plenty of vegan options which was great for me as well as loads of drink options. Definitely my new favourite vegan spot in all of Newquay, so will be back again soon. The lunch menu looked really good too, and they had a great selection of vegan cakes and goodies.

Really pleased to find a veggie place in Newquay with vegan options. Lovely atmosphere. Went one day, and said we would be back the next. Found on the second day they had run out of some of the vegan options so didn't stay. We were told a new menu would be introduced that week. It is a relatively new business and still finding their feet. As it was the choices for vegans were okay but could be better. With a more varied. menu a good place could be great, which I'm sure it will be. Certainly the curry that was on the special menu was excellent.

Just had an afternoon stop at this great place in Tower Road. Vegan & delicious, really nice atmosphere, really nice people working there, good prices... Got a feeling it's going to be my new escape place. Ethnic decor, games, people watching... Just love it

Stopped in here one afternoon for a coffee and a snack. Very nice feel to the place and the food was amazing. We chatted with the crew running it and they are super friendly and also super passionate about the place and the food they serve which is awesome. If you want good healthy fresh food, this is the place. Can't wait till the Suns out and we can sit outside!

Nice atmosphere dogs very welcome very chilled out , great coffee , completely vegetarian menu but still very nice ,, service was slow but didn't mind as it was raining .

We had the most tasty and contrasting red and yellow curries. The service was excellent and the staff really attentive plus a perfect view towards Fistral; I can't wait to visit again.
