Excellent brunch, great service, really good VFM and very relaxed atmosphere. We had toasted sourdough French baguette, coffees and teas which were all excellent. I’m a bread lover and try to make my own and have to say the whole meal and white sourdough baguettes here are streets ahead of what I can produce and as good as anything I’ve tasted anywhere. The young team working in the patisserie were very friendly, chatty, efficient and seemed to be very engaged in providing a great service in a very clean and well looked after restaurant. Highly recommended.

Attempted to order a takeaway. Whilst there was only one customer in front of me (being served), the remainder of the staff behind the counter, doing nothing, obviously decided that I could wait - for 5 minutes, before I walked out.

Food on show had several flies mating and everything else in-between on them. Took 17 minutes for a tuna sandwich that came made wrong and it was not busy, there were no other orders waiting. All this for the extortionate price of £7.50 per sandwich. I got my money back and won't be returning.

On opening the box of doughnuts i noticed a hair on top of doughnut and smaller hairs surrounding it in the box. Looks disgusting! Very unhygienic!

Super patisserie, both to eat in and to take away. Lovely hot drinks, particularly the mocha. Delicious strawberry tart and pecan and maple bun.

Met a friend for coffee. Had a latte and a delicious pan au chocolat. I also purchased some bread which was carefully sliced and placed in a biodegradable bag. The bread kept fresh for a week. I have tried many different bakeries but Mark’s bread is definitely the best in Dorset!!

We tried the christchurch branch and were impressed with hand sanitiser station/Covid rules in place at the time. Had a sausage roll and coffee and it didn’t disappoint.

I've been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Best advice is to get there early as the really good stuff goes quick but there isn't really anything bad there! Had the Peacan Pie last time and the Bakewell Slice both very good. The savory choice is great too. Staff are always nice.

MB Sourdough is out of the world and worth a 15min drive to get of a morning. Coffee is likewise, provided from the Clifton roasters. High standards from this family bakery. Highly recommend wide selection of quality patisserie products too

We went and sat in for cake and drinks. Cups, plates and cutlery were plastic/paper. Extremely un environmentally friendly. The food was average and very over priced. My coffee was luke warm. Will not be visiting gain.

Nice ambience and decor in the restaurant, my chair was unfortunately a bit sticky on the edge which i felt when pulling chair forward (probably from the previous customer). I wanted to get the waitresses attention but they all seemed busy. Not a problem, I wiped the residue away with a wet wipe. The food which we had was beautifully presented and tasty. I loved the Scallop risotto.. So delicious. Unfortunately my son’s filet steak was well done rather than medium rare which he asked for. He didn't want to make a fuss and said it was fine so he kept it. He said it was still a good piece of meat. There were 2 different lemonaid sold out which i wanted, but the one I had was nice (lime). Despite the experience not being 100%, the quality of the food is what we were there for and we enjoyed it.

Visited on a wednesday evening with husband and two kids. The service was delightful and the food was out of this world! I had salt and pepper squid to start, it was the best I’ve ever had in any country. We also had a scallops started and a smoked mackerel pate starter that were equally delicious. The kids loved the garlic prawns wrapped in a fillet of plaice. Monkfish in a peppercorn sauce was a revelation and the thai red seafood curry was heavenly (just the right side of a chilli kick). Desserts were good too! Highly recommend this charming little place.
