This cafe is excellent, offering delicious food and a warm, welcoming staff. Full English was superb 👌🏼 Will most definitely be coming here again

Since moving to St Stephen a year ago, Cafe Pause has been a frequent destination for my family to enjoy a great breakfast and the occasional fantastic lunch! Whilst I'm a huge fan of their breakfasts (the sausages alone are worth the price), my son adores their "Picky Plate". The staff even have gone out of their way to make him one for breakfast! Again, since living here for a year now, I have gone through 3 of their coffee loyalty cards and am well on my way to completing my 4th. It's a fantastic cafe with a welcoming staff and a real sense of community from the patrons within.

This was a great cafe when it was starting out. The staff couldn't be More accomodating. We spent a small fortune there. Now they have a regular client base the chap we take up in his wheelchair was made to sit outside. Where's the equality and diversity. The prices appear to go up fortnightly.

The staff were really nice and welcoming, it's a great place to go with family and friends or even to go and do work

The cookie pies are incredible, I have never eaten something so quickly and satisfied my sweet tooth so much. Amazing service and really attentive to customer needs.

Cute, friendly and clean community centre with a gorgeous cafe. We had the homemade Cornish pasties, huge and divine. Overheard lots of customers requesting substitutions for menu items which was no problem to the staff.

Beautiful location with inside and outside dining. Nice and clean and friendly staff! So why only 4* then? We both went for the large breakfasts and a latte coffee which looked and smelled great. What a shame we had Luke warm mushrooms and the dreaded cold (not hot) beans! Easy things to cook and spoilt an otherwise lovely breakfast! Check your beans and you’ll love this cafe!

Top spot, middle of the village, next to community centre, easy to park, eat out or In. Has to be one of the top Cafes in Cornwall! Pets welcome.

Highly recommend this cafe! The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is great. It is always spotlessly clean. I can highly recommend the coffee I go often with my disabled client, and they couldn’t be more welcoming. Disabled toilet is first class

We frequently visit this café and always had excellent, freshly cooked food. Service with a smile with lovely decor. Clean, with toilet facilities, dog friendly and with optional outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking available too - a must visit.

Great cafe/Restaurant, in December they did full roasts on Wednesday evening, must be the best in Cornwall. Inside and outside seating, dog friendly and fantastic decor. The staff are brilliant, the quality of the food and deserts are first class. Definitely recommend this little gem...

This cafe goes above and beyond! The food is of the best quality, and the staff can never do enough. Welcoming me and friendly. They even do dog ice-creams, which is a real hit with my pooch 🐶
