Toast in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

welcoming casual vibe. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. It's not fine dining but doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't.

Came to Toast ar Braintree today (Weds) and had my usual latte and strawberry jam on brown, and I was not disappointed! 😁 Excellent happy cheerful service, as I always get from the girls in today. Food was hot when it arrived, and delicious as usual: Couldn't get the lid off my latte, although I put that down to my age! 🤭 Room was a perfect temperature also: Only started noticing room temperatures after finding upstairs at Tesco is unbearably hot! Music was a perfect level also; loud enough to hear, but quite enough to not be offensive or to prohibit normal conversation. All in all, the Toast I know and love. Would definitely recommend; yes, you can toast your own bread at home for cheaper, it is nice to be able to go out for something to eat and be sitting in a coffee shop with lots of flavoured toppings, bread types and drinks, rather than having to choose which variation of a fried or 'English' breakfast to have. I also noted today that they do porridge; another bonus, and change, from the usual 'greasy spoon' which generally is the only place for morning food. Besides, someone else toasting my bread, for breakfast, makes the experience wonderful and chilled! Very happy 😊

Looked cosy and comfortable so decided to have a sit-in coffee. But be aware, the coffee is still served in takeaway cups - just seems wrong. I'll go elsewhere, thank you.

I'd heard good things but our visit was OK but not great. Victoria Sandwich Cake was dry, half if the order was very slow and them wrong and drinks smaller than I would have expected. I would go again if there was no where else but there are lots if alternatives nearby so doubt I will.

A new addition to Braintree since my last visit 2 years ago. Loved it. Two really happy, smiling faces early on gave a great welcome. The coffee was great. But even better was the great choice of toasties. The cheese, tomato and Worcester Sauce toastie was probably the best I've eaten. Beautifully done with wonderful colour on a good bread. You only have to look next door to the sad coffee and toasties on offer next door at an international coffee chain to realise just how good these are.

We were looking for coffee in Braintree and spotted this outlet. We had skinny lattes and the coffee was really excellent. We liked the vibe too - chilled, sense of humour, and their refusal to sell products by Coca-Cola. If I lived near Braintree this would become my go-to coffee shop.

As a family we absolutely LOVE toast! The toastie are unreal! The milkshakes are to die for and the welcoming staff are the icing on their delicious cakes!!! Will go a lot! And will continue to do so!! Well done!

Best coffee in braintree, this is my go-to every tine I go into town. Staff are always superb, and the toasties are brilliant and well priced. Great addition to the town.

Toast with amazing range of toppings. We stopped to toast and coffee -ideal for a quick mid morning snack. Very convient well situated in the centre of shopping in Braintree.Would call again.

It’s really good to see a local shop doing so well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Coffee is as good if not better than well known chains and the range of toast toppings is amazing. Can’t wait to visit more.

Always try to support local rather than the giant coffee chains and when the coffee is as good as it is here why would you want to go anywhere else. Also there cheese and marmite toastie is a little bit of heaven on a plate. And last but not least the ladies are always welcoming and cheerful.
