Visited here for a late breakfast. Despite a blown fuse in the kitchen the staff kept us fully informed and did their best to get our food to us as quickly as possible. When it arrived the food was excellent, tasty and good portion sizes. They were also happy to bring out a birthday cake that we brought despite them selling their own cakes and pastries. Staff were super friendly

Super-friendly little cafe. Good range of cakes to go with your coffee. Dog friendly, even providing doggy treats.

food was poor but that handsome worker called Olly Smyth made my day, what a lovely chap. the food had little to no flavour and my coffee was too cold but Olly was hot.

Booked a table for the America burgers and ribs evening. Processed tiny burgers, 4 tiny ribs, oven cooked French Fries, children size portions. What a pity, we wanted to support a local business :(

We visited the Little Bean Cafe yesterday and are so glad we decided to pop in for lunch. Staff were friendly and polite. Service was really prompt and it never felt like you were waiting for long. The cafe was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Our toasties were delicious and came piping hot. They were packed full of filling and came with homemade coleslaw. We will definitely be visiting again!

Was meeting a friend yesterday in Billingshurst and decided to have coffee and lunch at The Little Bean Cafe on the High Street. Never visited before. I was thrilled to see that they offered 4 kinds of alternative milk and that a vast majority of the fab lunch menu could be made vegan! Well done to you, it really is so easy to offer the alternatives! I went for the goats cheese, caramelized onion and spinach toasted sandwich on granary bread (with vegan cheese alternative for the goats cheese) and it was the best sandwich I've tasted in years! Truly delicious! A flat white coffee with coconut milk to accompany..... again, spot on! The homemade cakes on the counter looked delicious too, most of them being vegan... I was in heaven and wished I'd had room for a slice, but the sandwich was more than adequate. Very helpful, welcoming staff, and a lovely atmosphere. It was busy the whole time we were there which after tasting the food, was not a surprise. Keep doing what you're doing, so happy we chose to stop by.

Looking for a lite bite and a bit of atmosphere we found ourselves at The Little Bean Cafe in Billingshurst and not Mc D’s in Crawley where we had just come from. The warmth and friendliness that greets you when you enter the door is excellent and sets you up well for the delights that await. We had a couple of delicious toasty sandwiches prepared to order but could have made this so much more, they have a license. I wanted to stay longer but we had a sunset to catch in Bognor Regis and that was not going to wait! For its size the place is such a gem and worth the wait if that is what you have to do. Only one downside, Salt and Pepper in paper ( Mc D) sachets, so sad as most places moved on from this a couple of years ago. Come on mum let’s ditch this and return to the proper tea shop standard, I won’t mark you down this time but, as Arnie says, “I’ll Be Back” That said visit here for some great, and healthy food and tasty not so healthy nosh too.

Venue looked nice but sadly the hot chocolate I had was lukewarm and the breakfasts were very tasteless. The scrambled eggs were barely cooked and were so runny much was inedible. The bacon was poor quality and the wrong type of bread was used for the toast.

As a regular coffee drinker and customer, I have noticed the decline in the coffee and service. Often I wait 20 minutes for a take out coffee however the coffee is sometimes great other times it tastes like dishwater. Wanting to support local business I tried to over look this. This was until I ordered 2 take away drinks recently , I told no tables and waited 25 mins for drinks. The drinks were handed to my daughter and the lid on the coffee was not on properly. The coffee spilt on my daughters hand , all over her top and her jeans. She ran the the bathroom to run her hand under cold water. The young man helping had no idea what to do , there was another staff making coffee, didn’t offer to help, carried on shouting about staffing problems and saw I was clearing up the coffee on the floor as no one else did and I was worried someone might slip over . My daughter ran her hand under cold water and was given a cold towel to wrap around it after I asked for it. We went home and her hand was red and had superficial burns on it . So disgusted with the lack of help offered in the cafe, all they were worried about was being busy and having no staff . Dreadful coffee aside I’m most disappointed by the lack of care front he staff for a mistake which was not ours. Little bean has lost a customer.

We stopped at Little Bean Café for lunch one Thursday. The service was excellent: friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered a Summer Platter which was packed with a huge variety of cheeses, meats, and savoury pastries. The staff were brilliant with our children and did their utmost to keep them happy. We also ordered cake from their large selection which was scrumptious.

A cosy space to hang out with friends, family or individually, Little Bean and it’s staff are always welcoming. We often visit with our two young children who, like most children, can be a little bit messy and excitable. This is never a problem for the staff who always make sure our children are having a nice time. Would recommend a visit and make sure to try to homemade leek soup if it is available!

Beautiful building. Amanda the barmaid/waitress was very helpful and friendly. My family had the ham egg and chips, which was outstanding. I had fish and chips, the fish was delicious and fresh. The puddings were sinful and beautifully made.

Went for a coffee and was told could only have take away as it was 15:40 on a Sunday, my wife and I are both disabled and I have an ostomy and asked to use the loo and was told I could only if I buy something, so it cost me 7 quid for two takeaway coffees just to use the loo....thanks national trust

Wish i had been here before, just tried on the last night of stay and I have to say it was all good, taste was very good, portions are plenty, prices are very reasonable. We tried doner, lamb kebab and chicken kebab and I have to say all was very yummy, the chicken kebab was probably one of the best i have tried in the UK. So tender. Thanks for everything, it was a very good meal for me and my husband👏
