Service very very slow and not sure what they were doing

A nice Chinese takeaway in the centre of Wadebridge town. Lots of choice and cooked well. Would recommend.

The food was quite good but service was atrocious Only one person in the takeaway, so when we asked how long an order would take, we were told ....15 to 20 minutes so we ordered £65 worth of food and sat and waited .... and WAITED ....AND WAITED ....an hour and 10 mins later we got our food . While I fully appreciate there were phone in orders before us we should have been told Before you pay, it will be at least 45 mins to an hour before you get your food . SO....IF YOU WANT FOOD FROM THIS PLACE ...CALL IN YOUR ORDER FIRST.

Wai Kui is fantastic. I much prefer these to other places in town. Highly recommend the curry sauce and chicken balls. it's out of this world! Pricing reasonable and the young chap on the front desk is always very polite and helpful!

Spent £83 on possibly the worst Chinese I've had, didn't even attempt the spring rolls as they had pink meat of some sort in them. Nothing special about the Special Chow mein. Did salt & pepper ribs but not chips!? No taste in the curry sauce. Really disappointed for the money!

Best Chinese in town and always has been since the 90s. Food has been consistent all that time. Been using them since 1992. Staff are really friendly and are well known in the town. Parking out side is a little hit and miss as they always seem busy. But there is a carpark 2 minute walk away

Been a fan of Wai Kui or as we used to call it as a young lad in neighbouring Padstow nearly 50 years ago. Always used to order a meal for the family on a Friday night as an end of week treat. "Mathews", If you know, you know right. Never fails. Good honest food for a reasonable price. Moved to Wadebridge from Padstow a couple of years ago and was delighted to enjoy once again and 2 years on still continuing to enjoy the lovely food. Big nod to the awsome Callum front of house and all those we don't see that work hard to keep this institution successful for the next 50 and beyond. Thank you guys.

I've lived in Cornwall 10 years and finally found an exceptional Chinese take away. Food cooked fresh good portions and taste delicious. Would highly recommend.

The guy on the phone was very friendly and then he was also just as nice when I went in to collect. Food was ready exactly when he said it would be. Great service and the food was okay too.

As soon as I walked in I regretted ordering from here. Place looked dirty and like it hadn’t been cleaned or redecorated for years. Food was expensive which I wouldn’t mind but it was so disappointing. The sweet and sour dishes tasted like ketchup, chips were dry, very small portions for the money. Was looking forward to a treat whilst on holiday but I honestly could have just thrown the lot in the bin! Would not recommend at all!

Good food but can sometimes be a bit of a wait.

I ordered a Chinese pork foo yung, which might have been the best foo yung I’ve ever had. I also ordered a pork chow mein, which was nice but the meat was a bit bland, and vegetable spring rolls which were a little over cooked but still very tasty. It took 20mins which was very quick. I ordered at 5:30pm on a Friday, so I wonder if the other reviews which said they waited a long time ordered on Saturday ? Overall, I was happy with my order and I would come again.

Completely underrated, great tasting food and portions are a good size too.

Went here after a long day at work, waiting time was awful, the curry tasted off, I had food poisoning and was very ill. Please be wary of this place, I was very ill.

Absolutely terrible the currys tasted weird and made me and my friend ill for a week, and it took them more than an hour to make it don't go here

There was almost 1hour wait for food but we'll worth the wait. Food was hot and a lot tastier than another Chinese takeaway we tried in the area.

Ordered three prawn crackers, world class meal. 10/10 loved it, but three was a bit much so might order two next time. See how I feel.

Really lovely but expect a long wait, we ordered at 5,35pm and didnt get our order till 7,50pm. It was hot and fresh and reasonably priced.

Have been using this Chinese takeaway for the last 30 years when in Cornwall. The food is consistent and generous in portions, staff are friendly and helpful, prices are very inexpensive. Taste remains the same today as it did years ago. This is why it is still here.

It's probably the greasiest Chinese ever, there's no green in the food making presentation boring, really not moved with the times very 80s style gluten. Chinese should be vibrent and colourful, tasty and fresh. Then ordering by phone, time for pick up given but when arrive, you then wait and wait and wait........ But staff are nice;

Food was good but nothing special. Waiting time was good at 15 minutes. Prices are avarage. Counter staff very rude and unhelpful, nearly walked out before ordering due to his bad attitude. Everything fine apart from that.

Been here before. Nothing special or to write home about. A little over priced. Tried a few things and unimpressed. Special fried rice, tasteless, cold and dry. Not a fan of chow mein. Crispy fried chilli beef not crispy. Curry had odd taste. There are other choices nearby. Visit one of them. Also to note: Closed early on New Years’ eve?!!!! Yet another so called business with no business sense!

The food is not very great doesn't even tàste like Chinese food It's awful. The fried rice is hard and to dry, the spare ribs taste more venigar. The chapsoy noodle is awful. They need to hire proper Chinese chief. Sorry I'm just telling the truth.
