It was our first time visiting but definitely not our last. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, best coffee ever!!

Nice, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Plenty of drink options with a good selection of pastries/cakes. Staff were polite and friendly.

We popped in for a tea, coffee and cake at 4:22 (they shut at 5pm) For the first few minutes we were completely ignored as one of 2 girls polished the cabinet. Before serving us, the other turned the counter lights off- I.E get the message! “Oh you can have a drink but in take-away cups we close in 20 minutes!” “35 we corrected, and actually we are not having a takeaway so don’t want to pay sit in prices to have it in a paper cup!” “You don’t have to shut up the shop do you?!” Was the reply! Needless to say that’s a never again from us and a 1 star only because zero isn’t an option- disgusted!

I've had good flat whites here and amazingly nice cake. Cafe is bigger than it looks from the street and an outside area with crappy seating that's useful on a nice day. Overall I can recommend it.

Wonderful venue to host your own celebration. We had a baby shower there today and Maria and her team of staff were amazing . Nothing too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend

The cafe looks beautiful from the front and inside. Really pleased to see a new cafe in LB and love supporting local business. The drinks were fine, lunch menu is limited but understandably so, the panini was also fine. My only issue was the outdoor ‘seating’ at the rear which was uncomfortable and didn’t feel safe. The seats are crates stacked up with some padding tied to it and I really hope the owners are looking to upgrade this.

Just had a couple of drinks - latte and hot chocolate- but both were lovely and hot and a good strength. Friendly and helpful staff.

This place quickly became our go to on lunch breaks during lockdown. The service is always friendly and the coffee and cake excellent. Glad to see it was popular and there was always a queue outside, we need a competitor for the big chain coffee shop over the road!

A new addition to the Leighton Buzzard High Street, Cittadina is an independent cafe offering coffee, sandwiches and cakes. Some, but not all of the cakes are homemade, but if you ask, the staff will tell you which are which. Our coffee and homemade coffee and walnut cake were both excellent. There is a small rustic seating area at the back of the cafe accessible via the alley at the side of the shop. You may have to share one of the large, imaginatively made pallet tables if the cafe is busy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a cappuccino and an americano and both were so weak that they tasted like hot water with milk. The chocolate powder on the cappuccino was the strongest flavour. Our panini were large and crisp but again bland. There was a bit of weak pesto and under ripe tomatoes in one and packet ham and the same tomatoes in the other. Plenty of mozzarella but that never has much taste. Waited ages even though there were 4 of them working. Not over friendly staff. Sad as we'd rather support a small business than a chain.

Had a lovely coconut latte and vegan panini, were delish ! Service very friendly, only slightly negative would be the seats in the back aren’t the sturdiest or comfiest but I’m presuming they’re temporary seating!

Good coffee and cakes plus savoury food with a pleasant service and prices in line with other local coffee shops

This opened last november, but unfortunately we went into a lockdown so didn't have a chance to sit in. So have visited several times for takeaway, really good coffee, and a good range of cakes. Recommend going here.
