An amazing find! Beautiful setting in the garden with the sea in the distance. The homemade scones were delicious. Highly recommend visiting this hidden gem!

It’s always such a great taste here with wonderful dishes to share. A real gem. Bur sad as Maria en famille will be leaving Pendeen later this month. Go while you can. Good luck.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Warm welcome very friendly. Delicious Sunday lunch and a very generous portion. Yummy pudding! Very accommodating for our toddler and dog. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely come again next time we’re in the area!

Great atmosphere, great beer, great place. No food just a proper pub. We welcome the visitors and Ive made a good few mates. Its about the beer and the conversation. What else do you want in a pub.

Incredible vegan pizza- easily the best we’ve ever had. Amazing, fresh potato salad and coleslaw. Very decent portions. Very quick service, would highly, highly recommend 😊😊

Popped in here for a cream tea, deliciously warm scones with jam and clotted cream, a real treat. Very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, very friendly, would definitely recommend.

Notice in the window listed opening times for sandwiches and snacks as 8.30 a.m. onwards, Monday til Saturday. There was a list of fare including bacon and egg sandwiches, just what we wanted for breakfast. We got there at 9.30 and the place was closed with ko signs of life. Very disappointing.

Simply the best pasties we have ever had! You know it’s going to be good when there are only two options - ‘meat’ or ‘vegetable’ in either regular or large. It said to me, ‘this is the way we have done it for centuries and if you don’t like it, find somewhere else.’ Love that!

Delighted to have made it to The Phoenix in Penzance having heard about this place through a number of the Coeliac groups on Facebook. 100% gluten free, safe food, without the fear of double-checking. Our group had breakfasts, pancakes, French toast and cheese scones - all were absolutely delicious. And those mahoosive cookies! Yum! Just had to get a takeaway box. Definitely a place to go back to, or order online.

VERY rarely have fish and chips but thought we would tonight,the one we would have used was closed so this one was open, absolutely no taste at all , not at all hot and just so disappointed,if I lived closer they would have gone back 👎👎👎

We came whilst we were on holiday both had steak it was delicious we always visit when we are here food is always amazing and staff very welcoming. Thankyou
