Situated in the tiny Rosemergy on the winding clifftop road between St Just and St Ives, we dropped in on a whim after seeing the sign by the road. So glad we did!. Plenty of parking and wandered through into a lovely tree-ringed garden with well spaced tables around the edge, some shaded and some sunny. Distant sea views from some tables. Really frendly welcome when we ordered and a few minutes later our cream teas arrived. Lovely soft plain scones, two each and still warm, with a bowl of conserve and a pot of Roddas (genuine Cornish and renowned) Clotted cream. Best scones o the week without a doubt. Highly recommended.

Rosemergy was recommended to us for a good cream tea and it didn’t disappoint! We opted to take our cream teas away as we were still full from brunch, but this wasn’t a problem at all for them. Generous portions, delicious fresh scones and the option to swap out the tea for coffee or a soft drink. A must when visiting Cornwall!

Approached on a very scenic coastal route, Rosemergy Tearooms are perfectly situated with views out to sea. The gardens where we sat were very Cornish in style and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The cream tea was absolutely delicious 😋 Would love to go back. Shame I can't give 6*'s - a very special place.

Lovely little spot in a private garden. Had the cream tea with an extra coffee. Drinks served in delightful mugs however disappointed that the cream for the cream tea was provided in a plastic sealed container which spoilt it for me. Lovely scones though.

The rain didn't deter us on our mission to find Rosemergy! It can be tricky, especially as the sign outside only says 'cream teas' so be prepared to turn around at the tin mine just along the road and head back! Only a small car park but we squeezed in. We received a lovely welcome and sat in the pretty garden under a huge umbrella. Our party consisted of myself, my daughter and my 7 year old granddaughter. The scones were light and delicious and we did not mind large mugs of tea, although others have complained not to have a teapot! We had listed this place as somewhere we wanted to visit during our stay at Carbis Bay and I am so pleased we made it.

A miserable day so what better to do than drive to Rosemergy Farmhouse for a cream tea. No indoor seating but a lovely garden to sit in and enjoy your freshly baked scones and clotted cream. I would imagine that on a hot summers day this idyllic farmhouse would get really busy. Scones all cooked in an oil fired aga and the smell of freshly baked scones as you arrive tantalises the taste buds.

Blimey, what's happened here? We first visited Rosemergy about 4-5 years ago, it was so good we made an effort to return at the first opportunity. Perhaps my memory is failing me but I do remember there being Tea Pots, bowls of Clotted Cream and Jam, but instead we got individual Mugs of Tea (with milk already added) and plastic containers for Clotted Cream and Jam. So disappointed, therefore won't be returning.

Been coming to this hidden gem for years. Taking the coast road from St Ives the views looking out to sea can be breathtaking. Worth the trip for the 2 of the lightest scones you'll taste. Between the 2 of us a whole tub of lovely Roddas clotted cream topped the jam on our scones! Sat in the lovely garden, and enjoyed our cream teas. Will be returning again and again.

Our family has supported this place for many years, we love the setting and the owners have always been very friendly, we came several times during covid and the magic was gone with the paper plates and cups and wooden forks, small sealed jam and cream pots were also very stingey portions. We visited yesterday for the first time post covid to find although the paper and wood had gone, they were replaced with mugs with a tea bag instead of a teapot and cups and the jam and cream were tiny, barely enough to cover the now tiny scone. This place has totally lost the magic, such a shame as we are now looking for another place to switch too. My 3 out of 5 review is generous and mostly based on the beautiful setting.

I visited here recently and the service and food/drink was of the highest quality. Although the experience may be tainted by not being served fresh tea leaf strained from the pot; and lovely crockery- we are living during a pandemic…still. Shocked, appalled and upset that people leave 1* reviews as they’ve not been provided crockery!! The business is ‘minimising risk!’. Some people really are unbelievable

Yesterday’s welcome was as cold as the prevailing breeze, at least from the owner. We were have taken our children here from a young age over many years abs after a considerable break it has to be said we were back with daughter, son in law and grandchildren in tow. My wife excitedly told the owner this and before she had finished her sentence the card machine was thrust at her through the window on a the end of a metre plus stick and the only words in response were ‘£13 when you’re ready’. Covid has spoiled a lot of fun it has to be said but there is no real reason why your cream tea has to come in compostable cups and on flimsy disposable plates which we were required to dump in the same bin along with food waste - so not sure the recycling defence can be used here. No tea pot, no crockery, no smile - such a shame when I think we supported this tea room regularly not long after it started and recommended people to it too. Saving grace - great scones!

Parking can take up to 7/10 cars which is pretty decent considering it wasn't purpose built. Due to covid seating was all outside but there's plenty of shady areas too as we visited mid July with high temps. Menu is simple but excellent, scones were warm & again because of covid no table service + everything was disposable but that's completely understandable with the high traffic they must have. Everything was incredibly well thought out considering the restrictions all eating places have faced since the pandemic Garden is well cared for & a stone's throw from the coastal path & cliffs. Lovely hideaway & well worth a stop.

Two delicious warm fresh home made scones were accompanied by quality strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream. Neither of us are tea experts but it slaked our thirst and accompanied the food a treat. Open air or internal seating both good choices depending on the weather. Excellent cream tea, served by lovely people.... the best cream tea in Cornwall. Can’t wait to return next year.

Mitten auf dem Land mit einer tollen Aussicht, in einem netten Garten und leckerem cream tea ist es der richtige Platz für ein Kaffepäuschen.

Just had The Drake and the Mrs Perryman. Both came with plenty of chips, the actual duck dishes were outstanding, really nice. We will be returning to try another dish when we return next year. We were lucky to have crispy skin as well. We spotted the sign for the duck Truck while we were driving to our cottage in Tintagel and decided to give it a go during our stay. We were not disappointed. Top local produce, by the farmer. Keep up the good work, we'll be back

Lovely experience in this cafe - friendly staff, beautiful views and delicious cake. Well placed at the end of the coastal path too.
