My sister and I had a potter around Charlestown this morning and called into the Tallships Creamery on our way back to the car. What a lovely, quirky little place this is. We chose a cheese and onion pasty and a slice of chocolate fudge cake to share. What can I say, the pasty was absolutely lovely. The combination of the cheese with the flaky pastry was absolutely yummy and the chocolate fudge cake was gorgeous. Definitely a place I would go to again.

This is no longer at Pinetum Gardens near St Austell! It is 30 minutes away in Truro which the children weren’t going to be able to last. Such as shame.

Difficult to rate this one as it was both excellent and disappointing. We stayed one night on our way round the South West Coast Path. The room was very nicely decorated with everything we needed, and some nice extra touches. There was an issue with the plumbing which we reported in the morning and I’m confident it’ll be fixed for the next guest - can’t be helped. Breakfast was excellent. By far the best vegan full English of our walk so far. The 2 staff working were both excellent too. So bed and breakfast was great. But our meal the night before wasn’t. My wife had a marmite/potato dish, which was nicely presented and tasty enough, but the size of a starter and lacking something. My curry was fine, and substantial. Service was very slow and we’re still waiting for the staff member to come back with the dessert menu (we gave up after 15 minutes). Others had the wrong orders brought to them and waited over an hour for food. So, B&B - great, dinner - don’t bother.

Won’t be back anytime soon ! It used to be a good but has fallen off the edge I’m afraid The cafe area is a complete shambles, full bin bags lying in the seating area, tinned drinks stacked up, bookshelves stood up against wall and no heating. Food is poor quality and hugely overpriced, with stale bread, salad leaves going brown and “ lumps” of cheese in the sandwich. The staff are less than helpful and appearance does not seem to matter to them. All in all a very poor standard set in all aspects

This was my wife and I first visit to the fea rooms . We had passed them for nigh on 20 years without venturing in . We went in to the cozy wooden tea room (great big massive shed …) and was greeted by the staff . Bit more of that later … We ordered food Cheese toastie Cauliflower cheese and broccoli bake Hot chocolate Pot oc tea After five to ten mins the food arrived . And if truth be told it was hot and also lovely . I’d missed the cauliflower cheese and broccoli bake from the holmbush inn since they stopped it . Fair play the food filled our bellies . We went to leave but had to say goodbye and thank uou first which I thought was strange . Normally it’s the other way round Nice job 👍

Out for my birthday for a meal. Unfortunately chose this place. Poor service. Had order taken and had little interaction from the 1st waiter. We were the only people in there and it took over 10 minutes for our drinks to be brought over. Before this we had a second waiter come over who wanted to take our order and I had to say 3 times we had our order taken already. He appeared not to understand me at all. Aircon on full so was freezing in there and the food was average. Will say with no hesitation, never going back!!
