Tesco Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Had the standard breakfast and it was pretty good value. Cafe was clean and everything was served hot. Staff were efficient and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely return.

I only came to Tesco for the cafe and did not do some shopping. The fish and chips were ok but not the best. The staff are really friendly and fantastic value for money. I would go again

Price of coffee goes up every time I stop by after a shop. Most of the staff seem nice but some are openly grumpy, clearly hate being there, fair enough I guess. I've given up on post-shop morning coffee here. If I'm going to pay that much for a coffee, I'll stop by Charlestown Harbour where at least it comes with a view and a walk on the beach.

I’m somewhat of a breakfast aficionado, I’ve eaten breakfast in 6 continents and witnessed some real highs and lows in my time. So it may come as some surprise that this was the best breakfast of my life. It certainly was to me. I don’t know why it was so special, the beans had a unique taste that Heinz have never been able to reach. The egg was perfectly done, no slime on top. Sausage and bacon cooked just fine and a lovely slice of toast. The condiment selection is exemplary. Lovely staff and some friendly old local gims made the ambience welcoming whilst retaining its own sense of culture. To me, this is my new happy place and I shall make an effort to visit any time I’m in this part of the world.

Great coffee as usual, we had a decaffe flat white and decaffe latte. Getting latte art is always a giveaway and in a supermarket is unexpected. Other supermarkets in the area have been disappointing. Keep up the good work Tesco and thanks to the friendly staff on the till and in the cafe.

Lovely food and service, lots of choice on the menu

Came in early afternoon for a breakfast , food is reasonably priced . Lady on till was just rude . I went to ask for extra sugar for my pot of tea and was told to go and que up , instead the lady could of just passed them over . My food came out while I was queuing for sugar and they had no clue where it was going . I pointed to my table and the food was literally just slammed on the table . To top it all my plate of eggs on toast was dirty with stale bean juice . Photo attached . So disappointing. I work in hospitality and this service was just ridiculous I do my weekly shop here and thought I’d try the cafe this week . Never again

We took lunch there for 4 days when we visited St Austell. The staff were very friendly and efficient.The food was well prepared and the helpings were plentiful. I must add the chips were excellent, in my opinion.

I'd originally intended going to Tesco to buy some food and eat in the car or elsewhere. However, I had a look at what the cafe had to offer and was tempted to eat in. Really glad I did as I was served promptly by a very hospitable member of staff. The food was reasonably priced, hot and they make a really nice cup of tea.

I’ve been using the cafe for a while now and feel that this little cafe is a hidden jem. Great value, service and quality.

Very nice food, well cooked and presented. Small tables that are really for 2 people, we managed to squeeze 3 of us round though. Large cups of tea too. First time here but will call in again, not too busy for a Sunday morning

Been here twice recently. The café is hidden round the corner, however there are comfy seats and the cakes and coffee are just what you need before or after tackling the battle of the trolley around the aisles. Tesco's cakes do seem to have got more expensive and smaller though!

Good breakfast good value. We tried add a but preferred tesco breakfast. Hot and a good selection to choose from. Freshly cooked

Go there alot. Good, cheap breakfasts and friendly staff. Ridiculously complicated till...they have to print a receipt, then scan the receipt, then print another so even a cup of caffee takes ages.

Best breakfast in Cornwall. Yes I've tried them all. And will continue to return to Tesco for their breakfast!! Friendly staff too!!
