The best restaurants in Helston Central Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Anthony & Andrew are fantastic hosts, Anthony as the bartender/host so warm and welcoming. Andrew so passionate inside the kitchen & produced wonderful dishes. My wife is VEGAN and both our dishes were stunning. We prebooked to take our dog and the welcome to the 3 of us was so genuine we felt so at home. Log burners on I do not write reviews but this evening with A&A was so enjoyable that I had to write this post. The 3 of us rate The Star Inn, 5 stars and well worth a visit.

Such a lovely lunch here. Nice hippie vibe. Delicious turmeric latte and Buddha bowl. Good healthy options for kids. Really friendly too. We’ll be back!

My family and I (husband and 15 yr old daughter) stayed here for a week. Although it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, it's in the perfect spot for touring Cornwall. The lodge we stayed in was clean and spacious, and altho we were all in the same room, the layout of having the single bed in an alcove next to the bathroom gave us all a little privacy. We also really appreciated having access that wasn't via the pub and a separate little parking area just for residents. But what really makes this place special are your hosts Dave and Bernie, they're so accommodating, welcoming and friendly. After only a couple of days it felt like we were spending time with old friends. And to top it off the food is so good and very generous, you will never go hungry!! We are hoping to return to Cornwall in a couple of years, and we already know where we'll be staying 😁

Second visit to this lovely little cafe. Excellent sausage sandwich and a decent flatwhite! It's nice, clean and tidy with efficient staff.

The Cornish food hub provided food and staff for or wedding at Trevassack lake last weekend. We cannot compliment them enough !! Food was exemplary as was the service !! We chose to have their sharing plates which worked so well bringing people together that had never met before. Cannot compliment Nathan,Andre and the team enough. Thank you xx

Had the dog with us, so ate in their pub opposite, great arrangement. Burgers, fries and shakes were amazing!

We've enjoyed Henlys on several occasions over the past few months. We had a delicious meal at New, Year, which came with a complentary glass of fizz. We also loved the jazz afternoons they held. We have now booked Valentine's there, too. What we love about Henlys is that it offers a sophisticated, classy venue in Helston, where casual pubs tend to dominate. It's lovely to have the choice to go somewhere that isn't filled with TV screens showing sport!

Had a wonderful full breakfast today. Perfect place to watch and photograph a very wild sea. The food and service is always excellent. Dog friendly and the best place to eat at any time of the day. If ordering a cream tea it is jam first.

This is a great restaurant tucked away on Wendron Street (best booking) as is open 6.30pm to 8.30pm. My wife, 12 year old son and I went again this summer. The waitress is very friendly, will go through the menu and recommend dishes and the atmosphere is authentic. The menu is full of original dishes - pastas, pizzas, seafood and chicken etc. Would thoroughly recommend Giuseppes - the food is delicious and you dont wait long.
