If you want the best milkshake on widemouth Bay you need to visit here, I had the chocolate one and it was amazing, 100% better than widemouth cafe

The Fryers Tearooms Kilkhampton Cornwall have extensive gluten free options, inspired by their personal experience of supporting a coeliac.  Full 4* review at coeliacwellnes.com.  They have freshly made cake, breakfast and lunch options.  Its close to Tamar Lakes with lots of free nearby parking and uses locally sourced ingredients. This is home cooked Cornish food at it’s best. 

We visit Penstowe fairly regularly, since King Arthur’s has started serving food we always make sure we eat here. Great food at a great price for all the family - great menu so always something different to choose. Most of all our 5 year old son loves the place, arcades, entertainment and all the staff are so fun and kind. Really gives him some independence in a fun and safe environment. Highlight of visiting Cornwall and Penstowe. Nicely decorated and clean.

Beautiful handy spot. We've been twice, once just for tea and once for lunch. Just off the coast path walk it's like the oasis in the desert when you've been out walking. The quiche with salad was lovely as was the savoury afternoon tea with cheese scone. My husband has the traditional cream tea which was apparently excellent. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly

Had a steak meal, very dissapointed, steak very fatty, onion ring way over done, frozen chips!.. £21.50!..never again!!!

Popped in by chance as passing. Really busy in a remote be it stunning setting. Cake & tea were of the highest quality, the only downside being the portion of cake was tiny. Expected a bit more for a fiver. Probably less than half of what I'm used to at Fremmy Quay.

What’s not to love about this wonderful cafe overlooking Widemouth beach. It’s so good we visited for a yummy breakfast (especially the breakfast stack) every day of our trip. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the service efficient and food quality high, with generous portion sizes and reasonable prices it’s a must visit. It’s also dog friendly. With seating inside and out and plenty of paid for parking on site.

Maybe we turned up at the wrong time on a bad day but…. Friendly and good service and a pint of Tribute is a pint of Tribute.. Very disappointed with the carvery on offer, can only suggest having a look at the counter and if you are happy, then purchase a ticket.

Super stop off point on the walk back to Bude from Sandymouth. Lovely spot , great coffee and cake, wonderful staff and they even do cocktails!

Went for dinner with my sister and some friends. Had a great evening and the food was amazing. I had fish and the mint dessert. Haven’t tasted anything like it. The owners are very friendly and are great hosts. We reserved a table as it was for a birthday. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back!

Not a farm shop more a slightly up market roadside cafe

Stopped off after a big hike, had the dog with us, very welcoming, dog friendly. We had the pork burgers, absolutely delicious, all freshly cooked to order, lovely staff and a well stocked farm shop attached. Would definitely go back.

Everything you want in a country pub , glad to call this my local . Icing on the cake it’s a pokestop , something for all the family

The best breakfast we have ever had. Was very busy but that gad no effect on the quality of the breakfast.Staff were attentive and apologetic for the wait. Good choice for breakfast, we had the full weir, wow! Filled us til the same night! Fantastic.
