Great selection of local produce from Gins and Beers/Ciders to Fudge, Chocolate and lots more. The Little Pig café on site serves great breakfasts, superb coffee and loads more menu options including roast dinners. Dog friendly in the café but not in the shop. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Well advertised which is how we found it on our first visit to the area, there was barely any stock in the "shop" and they seemed for focused on it being a cafe wouldn't recommend if you were hoping to get something here for you dinner in the evening.

On our way home with a further 3 hours to drive. Stopped here for a late lunch which was convenient on the A39 in North Cornwall. My partner had a pasty and I had soup, both very filling which satisfied us for the rest of our journey. We went in on a Friday when they do a special deal for fish and chips. We would have had some but could see there was too much for us to travel on - they looked like very good value for money. The farm shop was well stocked and is worth a visit just to browse or buy. Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome.

Arrived on a wet Friday afternoon in August, no cakes or tables for families. No real welcome by staff. Had to arrange our own table of 4, no help from staff who where not teenagers. Coffee was ok, hot chocolate was not good at all. No scones, cup cakes or sponges! Will not be returning, local place for locals, as couples arriving after us got welcomed and seated by staff. Disappointing if you’re staying nearby as we were and it had been recommended.

On a very windy March Sunday, I met up with a fishing buddy for a days fishing. We fished the top pond. After 4 hours or so we had around 20 fish each. Mick had all Carp, 3-7 Lb. Stopped here for lunch after a visit to the Tamar Lakes. My husband had the burger I went for an omelette. I did not want the chips that it came with so they topped up the salad. It was delicious, light & fluffy and they certainly did not scrimp on the filling. I struggled to finish! My husbands burger was equally as generous on the portion size with plenty of taste & the accompaniments just enhanced it further. We did have a wait for the food even though it was not too busy however they hi-light this on their menu due to all the food being prepared fresh. I would rather this any day....it is well worth the wait. The farm shop is an added bonus, with a great selection of fresh local produce to buy. The staff are all very friendly offering great service and knowledge of the foods they are serving.
