King arthurs in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We visit Penstowe fairly regularly, since King Arthur’s has started serving food we always make sure we eat here. Great food at a great price for all the family - great menu so always something different to choose. Most of all our 5 year old son loves the place, arcades, entertainment and all the staff are so fun and kind. Really gives him some independence in a fun and safe environment. Highlight of visiting Cornwall and Penstowe. Nicely decorated and clean.

Old Building, although very Clean & Tidy. Good selection of Beers and a very good menu with a comprehensive choice of food, including good selection for children. I had a mixed Grill which was really good aside the undercooked peas. The Children had Spaghetti & Enjoyed it. Not sure why the place was virtually empty aside our table.

Perfect place to spend the evening. We ate here during our stay at Penstowe and the food was great. Big portions and reasonably priced! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The kids enjoyed the arcades and pool tables. In the evening we enjoyed the bingo (bonus that we won one evening!) and we really enjoyed the musician James Dixon. What a talented guy he was! We had a great holiday and would definitely come back to this area again.

Not our first time here been here many times now. Had a great time again, the venue has had lots of work done over the last 2 years which was much needed. Always have a warm welcome from all the staff some we have known for a while. We had some great entertainment on our visit, even managed to win on the bingo which was good. The venue had even laid on a cake for our friends daughters 15th birthday(which they remembered from previous visit) which was a nice touch. The food and drinks were as good as always. The bar staff and waiting staff were always friendly and had a smile every time we was in. Will be back again next year again.

We absolutely loved our stay in Kilkhampton on Penstowe Manor. The King Arthur’s restaurant bar went above and beyond to make our wedding day a special and memorable time for us all. The food is amazing. Simon and Jill helped by putting on a lovely buffet for us and our family. Lee the entertainment manager chose and sang our first dance wedding song(Amazing) which we will never forget and he is an amazing singer and entertainer. Our children loved the kids club, arcade and sweet shop which were a massive helped to entertain them with almost two weeks of rain (thanks to great British weather). We loved the bingo every evening too. The on-site good size indoor swimming pool was also much appreciated. Very close by beeches and Bude town centre. Overall we will never forget our experience and will visit Bude (Kilkhampton) again. Our Cabin host Helen found on Airbnb was lovely and her cabin was a home from home place. We give five stars to Penstowe manor because it’s a fun filled place with such welcoming and pleasant staff and as I have said went above and beyond to support us on our wedding day to make it one we will never forget. Thank you to you all!!

We visited the venue a couple of times during our stay in a coombe chalet for food, drinks and entertainment. Very friendly staff, great home made food, well priced and decent sized portions. Great selection of drinks including local ales and ciders plus a list of spirits as long as your arm to work through. Entertainment was great and perfect for the kids. Highly recommended

Great meal, friendly, speedy service. Highly recommended. Special mention to the young lady who burnt her wrist earlier in the evening (this was Thursday 17 August) but carried on serving. Above and beyond! Lovely evening all round - special shout out for the mixed grill. Nick, Sandie, Rachel, Zac and Fin.

Stopping in chalet nearby, this venue catered for us all with food drink and even entertainment. The food whilst reasonably priced came with not only substantial portions but the quality of food was good. Staff very nice, chatty, polite and courteous, the entertainment host was funny and entertaining to the crowd but was also on form on a one to one basis too. Kids had a great time and were occupied whilst I sampled a few Cornish brews at the bar. Wouldn't hesitate to return here at all. Compliments to the King Arthur's team!

I had stayed at Penstowe many times growing up so decided to go back as an adult for a much needed holiday. My partner and I arrived to Penstowe Park on the Sunday night and were incredibly disappointed in our air b&b (private property so not linked to this) and decided to go to King Arthurs to get a drink and decide what we were going to do. I happened to ask Fliss if she knew of anywhere we could stay and her and Lee went above and beyond to rescue our holiday and find us some accommodation. We ended up staying all week and had the best time. They didn't need to help us, but they really went out of their way. We went in for dinner and entertainment every night and we honestly couldn't say a bad word about our experience. Lee and Fliss, and indeed all the staff, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. They recognised us each night and really made us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of entertainment, and think that there is something for everyone, regardless of age. Lee and Fliss really are a credit to the place and we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for really making our holiday. We would hand on heart recommend to anyone. Freya and Mark.

I’ve been many times. Great for families and events. Warm friendly welcome and drinks are reasonably priced. Entertainment excellent and the children love the arCade and sweet shop.

Great venue, great food, great entertainment and facilities. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. Food is top notch, one of the best steaks I’ve had. Can’t wait to return.

I would recommend King Arthurs had a very good meal with the family the steak and ale pie was exceptional. Friendly staff.

Such a lovely old building. Staff so welcoming and super friendly. Food was amazing. Much better than expected. Large place and lots of space. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning :-)
