The best restaurants in Falmouth Arwenack Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

I enjoyed a delicious meal at Marina this weekend gone. They have incredible food, and the service is quick and professional. We were seated quickly and served immediately by our waiter. The staff were courteous and considerate, and we were given some wonderful flatbread with tatziki and houmous before we ordered our meals. The bread and tatziki were the best I have ever had. I ordered lamb ribs, and baklava, and both were absolutely delicious. The ribs were served with salad and rice, and both were flavourful and good portioned sides. The ribs themselves were incredible, perfectly seasoned and tender, and I will absolutely order them again next time I have the pleasure to visit. I cannot recommend Marina highly enough, it is a fantastic edition to Falmouth's selection of restaurants.

10/10 food and experience. I am particularly fussy with Indian takeaway however I could not fault the food from here. The madras was the perfect spice level and everything was still boiling hot when I returned home. Highly recommend!

We were looking for some lunch in January and luckily spied the specials board on the wall. A great find with brilliant food and excellent friendly service and they catered sensitively for my gluten free requirements. It's not obvious from the outside that they do more than coffee and cake though, maybe a lunch menu in the window?

Fabulous fish and chips last night. The chips are so moreish, I couldn’t stop eating them! What do you cook them in?! And the fish was perfect with great batter. Definitely the best in Falmouth.

We have enjoyed several pleasant evenings at the Seaview Inn, socialising with family and friends.  Located on the terraces overlooking the harbour, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, well worth the short climb. It's also incredibly dog friendly with doggy treats kept on the end of the bar & long may this last. One of our family has coeliac disease and appreciates the availability of the draught Helles lager, which is gluten-free but not yet certified as such. Initially, we received some conflicting information from the staff regarding its gluten-free status.  This is not a lifestyle choice, but a necessary dietary restriction with serious health consequences if not adhered to, so staff training in this area would be beneficial as the information needs to be 100% accurate as with any other serious allergy.  It is wonderful, however, that a gluten-free beer is available on tap.  We prefered the more basic 'pub grub' food at sensible prices before, and prices have increased since the recent change in ownership, so we no longer dine as much. The drink selection, however, has significantly improved from the previous landlords basic 'run of the mill' selection to an interesting choice of refreshments. However, a doubles-bar on spirits would be nice sometimes and may be the difference between making an effort to visit the pub or the easier & cheaper option of opening the spirits cabinet at home.

Dropped in for a pint with friends in one of the last "local pubs" family run in Falmouth, you must experience this little pub if none other in Falmouth.

This is truly a hidden Gem!! We've came twice for breakfast and have been so impressed!! The atmosphere taking you back to the 1940's is truly an expericence and the breakfast was genuinely the best we have had, anywhere! The two ladies than run it couldn't have been more lovely and inviting (even cooking a sausage for our dog and provided her with treats). We would come back time and time again and would recommend everyone does! If I could have gave it a million stars I would!!

Had seen the restaurant advertised as 3 AA rosette but have since found out that is under review due to change of chef. Restaurant was dimly lit with nearby table resorting to using torch on his phone to read menu. Had the scallops which were average and small . Pork was okay as main course but not a large portion. Cheeseboard was average. Was expecting more from what was a listed restaurant.

We visited Cavendish Coffee shop in Xmas 21 with our son and his wife. Myself and wife returned today and it was just as good. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and appeared happy to be there The cakes and BLT we had were very good. If you are ever in Falmouth and want an independent cafe this is the place to go you won't be disappointed. Well done to all the staff

Food was good, wine was terrible. Charging £26 for wine that you can purchase in B&M for a £5. Service was good although it took quite a long time before we ordered, but when we did everything was as you would expect.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with friendly faces. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive, providing just the right amount of service to ensure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Despite the pub being busy, we never had to wait long for our drinks or food. It’s clear that the team here is committed to providing a positive experience for their guests. I was instantly impressed by the generous portions and presentation of our food and dessert which completed our night out perfectly.

What a Cosy trendy cafe and the views were stunning especially from the outside seating area. The breakfast was delicious and deceptively plentiful and quality too. I had the full Cornish and it left me full and satisfied all day. The hot chocolate was big and perfect. What a great find and a perfect stop off before and after a ferry trip. We will be back. The staff were also tentative and efficient and constantly cleaning . No wonder it’s won awards . Matt Greenwood- Camberley
