Very busy and full on games oriented bar. Huge with sport tv, pool, Snooker, table tennis and loads more. I'm probably too old for this but as a student ( as was the case in my visit) this would be an amazing place

There aren't many options to eat, but the atmosphere is super fun, I loved that you can have a beer and share games with friends, everything is completely digital and you don't have to count the points manually, it's a very fun place in Falmouth and yes You don't want to eat there, there are many other options in the surrounding area.

What a nice place to play some pool. If it’s Sunday - Tuesday, there’s no charge to play pool (subject to change; if so, their regular rate is 5 GBP/hour). Bartender Amy was wonderful as was the Manager Cathy (might be with a ‘K’). There are several pool tables, ping pong tables, darts, shuffle board and more. A great place to bring friends and family! I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic accidental find and I am glad I stumbled across it. The staff were lovely from the moment you walked in. The cutlery came in little hand stitched pockets which I thought was nice. The food was brilliant and I had to tear myself away before I became the size of a house. I would highly recommend coming here for authentic Ukrainian food, it is so very heart warming and tasty.

What a fantastic place to spend time with your family, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's filled with probably every game from the 80s straight through to modern day, the arcade machine is unbelievable with what can only be described every Nintendo & Saga games that we all used to love, that's besides games that are inset into some of the tables like Drafts, Chess, Monopoly plus many more, then you get the Old traditional pub games like Darts, Snooker, American Pool, Traditional Pool, Air Hockey and even a Skiffle Board for us who are actually old enough to remember, then there is also Giant Connect Four & Jenga, the olny downside is the food which is ordered from another independent provider but that isn't really a bad thing because it is keeping local businesses operating in unison together & it is delivered directly to your table. Fantastic place & a must to try 5***** all the way. Keep up the good work.

Good place to hang out and play some games if it is university holidays. Other times, nothing is available.

The place does serve crisps and snacks, but I never eat when I go, so rated three stars as a neutral opinion. The staff are lovely, and service is fantastic. Very friendly atmosphere. Have been going for seven years, and it is a lovely chill place to go, whilst in Falmouth.

Overall a good pub to go to, plenty of activities to do whilst there, mainly there for the pool but they have installed a new arcade machine which I'm yet to check out

Amazing spot for a few beers and some pool or other games such as air hockey, table tennis or jenga/board games. Friendly and fun atmosphere, staff always friendly and welcoming. Show almost all the main football games. Drinks are good value too.

I’ll tell you what….. Harry! Best barman in Falmouth, serviced myself and my friends with 10/10 service and always had a smile on his face:) He went above and beyond, seemed to lift the team morale up and made everyone staff and customer have a great experience

A very chill bar to spend the night. There’s plenty of board games to chose from 2 or more players. There’s music playing all the time and the drinks are very cheap. Overall a great atmosphere and can’t recommend it enough for a good start to a great night out in Falmouth

Lovely place. Planned to visit it again sometimes. Food is not available in house, but they have a tie up with a restaurant.

Staff and Managers are absolutely great here they all create a great atmosphere and create a great night out. Nothing better than to have a night out here, the staff make it fantastic every single time. Highly recommend!

the customer service is awful here, most staff are lovely but there is one staff member that myself and others I know have felt has been rude or unwelcoming on multiple occasions, Shame cos I absolutely love it there its a rlly fun place usually :((

I've spent probably too much time here and I can say is that the service is wonderful, the staff are welcoming and talkative, the tables for both snooker and pool are great and on top of this it's cheap pints. I'm always here because it's a great place for a social gathering as the atmosphere can be amazing, both loud and quiet depending on the time you come in. Overall the Games Room is a venue for both families and uni students eager to get wasted.

Would like to reply to your previous reply to a review. Actual events… I came out of the bathroom to find you screaming in my sisters face. You guys know that I firstly asked you POLITELY ‘what’s going on??’ Then you turn around and SHOUT in my face ‘I’m not talking to you!!’ so yes I was firstly polite and calm so there was no need to scream at me. So don’t claim you handled this professionally because I understand the frustration of bringing a drink in which wasn’t bought on premises but nevertheless, you can be professional about it Hope you have learnt the vulnerable lesson to be professional even with difficult situations ;-)

Owner very short tempered with both customers and staff. I have visited the games room a few times but each time the owner has been rather rude. This weekend she ruined the atmosphere. Feel sorry for the other staff who always do a great job.

Fantastic place - family friendly during the day and a great place to drink by night. SO much to do and always a great vibe during the football. Staff are so friendly and the service is brilliant. Best bar in Falmouth for sure - where else can you get drunk AND play ping pong? 🤣🤣

Woman with short haircut was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Snatched drinks out of hands of 20 year olds and started screaming in their faces despite them being extremely polite and trying to be reasonable. This woman was trying to escalate the situation tremendously for no real reason. AWFUL SERVICE. NEVER WILL VISIT AGAIN. Sort your attitude and customer service out

Great bar. Lots of board games, ping pong, pool, shuffle board, air hockey, darts. You can get food delivered from Boo Koos burgers from down the road aswell.

Amazing place with super service. Games, sport, boo-koos food and great pump prices. Took my kids during the day and they loved it - back in the evening (without the kids!) and fab atmosphere.

Great place for under 40's id say. The food is average and the service is ok for a busy pub. There are lots of games to play from board games to air hockey, table tennis and more. Very rowdy at times and if you've got kids I wouldn't necessarily advise it due to the profanities.

Absolutely inspired place !!!! Such a great place to go as students for drinks and fun. There are so many games and so much fun to have in small and large groups. The bar is great and cheaper than big city prices. There is also a chalk door in the loo that you can draw on. They have darts, foosball, ping pong, board games, chess, air hockey and pool.

Have herd of this place from freinds so decided to take a quick look as was in Falmouth,was not disappointed great bar affordable prices freindy staff and great pool tables plus lots of other games to play plus tons of bord games I also noticed u can order food from boo koos and have it delivered there . Games room is exactly what it says on the tin. The variety of games is impressive from snooker to Catan, there are 9 English pool tables, a shuffleboard, table football, 2 table tennis tables, 1 American pool and 1 snooker table as well as a whole bunch of board games to choose from. Could be a standout place but what makes me hesitate to go here is that some staff can be pretty blunt and sometimes bordering on hostile. This isn’t always the case, some staff are really nice, friendly, helpful, etc. but over the last couple of years it’s been enough of a mixed bag that I felt the need to leave some feedback for a place that I want to like going to again. Couple of recent examples - - myself and a group of friends walked into games room early evening, we’re all in our late 20s. Me and a mate (admittedly both have a baby face) were bluntly asked for an id as soon as we walked through the door (we didn’t even get to the bar) - my mate didn’t have it and was told to leave immediately without apology. Totally within their rights but this was a bit of a surprise, never been id’d at the door before in 7 years of going to games room - so a friendly attitude would have made this less of a L than a straight-up order to leave! Result was all ~10 of us left without buying a drink which doesn’t make business sense to me. - another time after paying for an hour of pool upstairs, we were told our time was up and we’d have to pay for another hour or return the stuff. My mate asked if we could finish our game first - the waitress continued to walk off while he asked and just said ‘no’ without turning back. Bit embarrassing to have visiting friends treated like that, and not a great way to sell the place. - buying drinks there are a couple of staff who it seems would really rather you didn’t. Maybe they were having a bad day but this isn’t a one-off type thing. I understand that some customers are difficult, but get the feeling that this is an assumption some staff have on anyone who walks through the door. Really could be a gem and I used to go all the time but the above does make me hesitate to recommend games room nowadays so I usually head to a pub such as seaview or Jacobs for pool now unless I’m with a bigger group. If it was me I’d have a chat with my staff about having a friendly attitude towards customers, point out role models (some staff are lovely and the manager is always v friendly) and perhaps offering some hospitality training to longer term / trusted employees.

Great place to play pool in Falmouth

We always go here when we come for our holidays. We go on the free days so we can have a few drinks with a few free games of pool (you do have to give an ID over for free games of pool but you get it back after obviously). They have all sorts of games to play (even board games) and the staff seems friendly. They don't do food themselves but they do now have menus for food which get delivered from another business, which inthought was a great idea! Good for some fun, especially on a drizzly day!

Great place, just wish we were explained how it all works! We faffed around for 20 minutes trying to work a table that was out of action, but we didn’t realise. I asked the girl at the bar and said we couldn’t work the table. She looked at me like I was stupid, and told me there’s definitely balls in there and that it’ll work. After trying again for even longer, I went back to the bar and said it definitely isn’t working. In the end she came over then said “oh yeah this one is out of action”. Why not tell us before that we may have been trying on a table that was out of action?? There was no sign that it was out of action either which would’ve been handy. Poor communication really. We then wait for another table to be free and go to the bar to get cues. The girl said it’s £5 along with your ID. These guys at another table then said they never paid £5 and only used their ID! So we just felt like we were getting messed around at this point. We left after wasting half a hour, which was a shame as we came from Redruth to play. Sadly, the service just seemed unwelcoming and unhelpful. Really disappointed as the atmosphere seemed fun and the drinks were cheap. Will probably be back to give it another chance but hoping not to have a negative experience again!

Cheap place for both pool and drinks. Would've been nice to get a bit more information on how the pricing of pool and snooker worked. We spent 20 minutes messing around because no one told us the upstairs area has a different set of rules. We watched at least 10 other people do the same thing. Might be worth explaining how it works when people first arrive. Very high profile place for uni students, so if you want to avoid crowds it's best to go during the day. The staff are friendly, and it feels welcoming enough, but the vaseline smeared on the back of the toilet gives the impression on what kind of establishment this can be, so be aware of that when you go. You pay for what you get, and so the pool tables and cues are not amazing, but you can't ask for much as 50p a game is the cheapest I've seen in a very long time.

First visit for hubby & I with our 1st year student son, what a great place! Took us back to our teenage years of snooker halls & places to keep young people occupied & real sense of community.... want to pick it up & take it home!! Staff super friendly, customers chatty & friendly too...look forward to returning😍

Family friendly up until 7pm and then under 18s have to leave unfortunately but it’s a great place, friendly helpful staff and lots of games- pool, snooker, table football, table tennis, board games etc.

The best bar in Falmouth for sure! I’m always amazed by the wide selection of table and board games they have to offer especially how they always obtain the latest board games it’s great! The bar is really well stocked with a great selection .. Tonight we tried the new Rattler Gold ( It went down a treat) although we do love the cocktails as-well! Service has always been great never had a problem, the staff are very attentive and the manager, Kathy is really welcoming and a great host, the bar and surrounding areas are always clean and in great shape. There’s not a single fault I could say! We love it and can’t wait to go back again… if you have not been here yet it’s definitely worth a visit for a pint and a game of pool (or shuffle board!)

Nice selection of beer and games. Bit dirty and floor was very stick. I understand about the no under 18 after a certain time rule, but barmaid was a bit rude about it.

Love the games room. Had a great night and it’s a great place to socialise with friends. There’s so much to do and never a moment to be bored. The staff are lovely and treat you like a friend. Gonna be back again soon!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I do genuinely love the games room, but I don't go anymore as the boss didn't treat us well. The boss was extremely rude to me, it wasn't an issue with our ID's and we weren't kicked out, she was just very unprofessional and spoke down to us in a belittling manner, like I've seen her do a few times. It's a real shame as I do love the atmosphere there. However, this is a very ginormous deterrent for me.

I went in with my parents, I am 18, I brought out a VALID ID! I wasn't even drinking alcohol, but they still kicked me out. They didn't even stop me when I walked in they waited for me to settle. >:(

The pool table we used was a bit out of shape and made the balls go the wrong direction and ruined the play 6 times out of 10. The service was great.

The bad music is too loud to enjoy board games, but its still great to have a place in town focused on socialising which isn't just eating or drinking.
