The best restaurants in Callington Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

We are regulars here and it honestly is always brilliant. The food, service and atmosphere is sublime. Everything is cooked with love, care and a huge amount of culinary knowledge. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for yet another fab evening. We’ll be back!

This was a great find. Popped up on Facebook. We came down for a long weekend for our first wedding anniversary. And this place is great. Friendly staff the locals were great too. The cocktails were lovely and they were happy to make whatever you wanted

Been going to Cornwall for 6 years. Found this place after been recommended by someone on holiday. Back to see all staff again from 7th September. Best pasties ever.

We really enjoyed the carvery at the Manor House today: excellent food and plenty of it. Good value too. Although the pub was busy the staff were very pleasant and attentive. I would happily recommend the Sunday carvery to anyone.

Since leaving London I have missed the small independent bakeries and this one is the answer to my prayers. Great selection of food from hot food and pasties to sweet treats and cakes and priced unbelievably well 😋

Excellent bacon sandwiches and coffee. High quality food in artisan coffee house. Go in the morning for the bakery specials as they run out. Lovely place in a small town on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

We visit regularly and are never disappointed. Always beautifully presented dishes that taste great. I tried the new veggie and halloumi salad, full of flavour and a decent size. The chocolate melt pudding on the specials menu was amazing! Consistently great food, the Chefs are very talented. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Used several times and normally large portion sizes. However on last visit the small cod seemed to have shrunk in size. This time I ordered a medium cod because of this and it was the same size as the small! Chip portions also seem smaller. Very disappointed as I am still hungry. On a positive note what I did have was delicious.

This is a little Callington Gem of a takeaway, most local people use Ell's Kitchen for their morning or lunch food/snacks. It is clean and tidy with a good day time menu, you can sit in but there's not to much room inside. You can get everything from a bacon & Mushroom baguette to pasties and various drinks. It has a good reputation for the type of food is prepares🍔🍟☕️

We just tried the new evening menu and were very impressed. The quality of the meat was high, the lamb- in another table!- was plentiful and beautifully cooked and the stuffed chicken with Brie and chorizo was again, beautifully cooked and delicious. Children’s meals good portions , well presented and tasty. Will be retuning as we know the food is always of a great quality with little waiting time and such friendly staff. Also had brunch with a friend this week- eggs royal- generous portions, beautifully cooked poached eggs and delicious hollandaise, friend had a cooked breakfast and loved it too. Recommend unreservedly.

One of 2-3 pubs in Callington open in Sunday. Pub does roast lunches so no food in the evening on Sunday. Visited with my take away food from excellent fish and chip place nearby. Enjoyed a few pints with my food. Made to feel welcome and watched football.

Highly recommend Ok I don’t review often so take it from me if I do it’s good went Sunday for roast with friends normally go to who had thought it but went Sunday before and I was upset was not to standard and service not great so thought we would go here as on way home for friends and honestly for between £8.50 and £12.50 not one complaint and empty plates if you fit a dessert in well done two had desserts as they are pigs and we all shared equally was as good as roast big thumbs up will be going back a lot more

Staying at St Mellion golf resort for the second year running and got a take away as the one we had last year was first of class. Was not disappointed once again. Great service, reasonably priced and excellent quality food with an extensive menu. Hope to see you again next year if not before.

Great quality takeout food, friendly staff easy to order on the website can be busy some evenings but food always freshly prepared.

One of the best takeaways I have used, great food cooked by experts who give great value and are very friendly. Will be back for more!
