Had seen this little place online lots so decided to give it a try. Managed to find a table. Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches & 2 coffees but asked for mine well done. The bacon was cremated unfortunately on both of ours which didn’t bother me but my Dad didn’t enjoy it all all. Coffee was lovely. Service a little on the slow side but there was only 1 lady working and it was reasonably busy so wasn’t a major issue. Will revisit again at some point as it is a lovely little place.

Wow! My wife and I tried the bunless beef burger and chicken burger, along with homemade beer battered onion rings and crispy chicken bites. The food was AMAZING! The sauces were AMAZING. The salad was AMAZING. Thank you so much Gastroburger Team - what an absolute treat! Looking forward to round 2!

This is the best fish and chips takeaway in the locality, never had a poor meal. They also offer a range of other takeaway foods but I have not experienced them so far

Well I suppose this is primarily a golf club. But it does offer a restaurant, which seems to be open to non members. A group of (non sporting) friends therefore gathered for lunch Four out of five ordered Steaks, which, when served, were pretty well inedible! Despite requesting steak knives in an attempt to deal with the problem, most went back to the kitchen uneaten. The offer of a free coffee wasn't really an answer to a poorly cooked meal. I notice not many reviews have been received over time, so I guess this culinary delight is mainly restricted to the golf members!

Beautiful location, big pub, excellent Caribbean food. Staff could be more friendly and welcoming, smile, and being helpful like offering baby high chair etc. Being more attentive to customers. More Caribbean food choices would be great. Kids food options could do with some veg on plates too. All in all it was okay.

My husband and I first went to Flourish a few years ago and happened upon it for an impromptu breakfast and we thought “what a find”. Fab farmhouse feel, welcoming, warm, great menu with local produce and decent espresso. We raved about it to friends and advocated for the business. I’m afraid to say that a friend and I came today and my experience couldn’t be anymore different in contrast and was shocked to find this had been her recent experience when dining with another friend. It was 9.30 so relatively early, there were a handful of customers. We were shown to a table and frankly abandoned there. 15-20 mins went by without an offer of drinks. I was close to leaving as we were short on time anyway. We had to go up to the counter where I interrupted the barista kneeling down styling his hair in the reflection of the coffee machine. He looked and said “everything ok?”. I asked if it was still table service and he confirmed it was and said I’ll send someone over. Another 5 mins and then he comes. Takes our order but looks really unhappy about doing so. Another 20 mins and our breakfast comes, not complex scrambled egg on toast and veggie breakfast. The eggs were cold and toast served without butter. Odd. Our drinks of orange juice and coffees had still not arrived. They came a few minutes later. I would have complained about the eggs if I was confident it would be rectified quickly but they didn’t return to check on us. At all. 40 minutes after our food was brought to us we were sat with our dirty dishes and without offer another drink or our bill. We would have had another coffee. We approached the counter and asked for our bill there and then without as much as eye contact from the server. Leaving our table dirty behind us and heading to Brislington to find another spot for coffee elsewhere. Really unimpressed in how it has gone down hill. They have of course, like all establishments put their prices up hiding behind the excuse of inflationary rises. However, that is all well and good if the service and food is impeccable for those rises. £3.25 for a thimble of orange juice, a mixed fruit smoothie is £6.25 a glass… lost a sense of reality there with competitive pricing. We were really disappointed and sad to say that we won’t be recommending it anymore. Eating out should feel like an experience and a treat when spending hard earned money. I felt like part of the team with how much I had to interact with the staff; when I should have placed my order, enjoyed my food and the time I had with my friend. Sad to see that the business appears to riding off the previous efforts when they invested in getting people through the door; but now don’t see merit in keeping them there. If feel like I do, they may not ever be back.

We vist the jolly sailor and had a lovely welcome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Beautiful spot next to the river Avon with a amazing view from the garden. The food was excellent and so was the service. Credit to the chef the food was brilliant very tasty. Dogs are welcome and there is a car park on site and you just need to register your reg with in 15mins at the bar simple no problem. Thank you

We usually love Flourish and have enjoyed the few times we have come in the past. However, today we came and asked for a table for 4. This was kindly met and we were seated. We had a 3 year old with us and she became uncomfortable on the chairs and wouldn't fit comfortably in the high chair. In the past we have enjoyed sitting on the soft benches near the back of the restaurant, which were unavailable when we came in. However slightly in to our visit, before our food had arrived, a bench table became available. I asked if we could move and I was told no, which I understood as the new customers 'had been told' they were sitting there. A few minutes later a new bench table became free and we were clearly making eye contact with the staff and at least 2 members of staff knew we were uncomfortable with our child sitting on our laps. This table was also not offered and could seat 4 people. The guy seating people walked past us multiple times, seeing our child sat on our laps (and knowing we wanted to move) and proceeded to seat 2 people there. It was not booked out and these people had not yet been told they were going to sit there. We were clearly uncomfortable and has asked to switch so would have appreciated being offered the table after asking for one. A little disappointed with this service as it changed our whole visit from enjoyable to uncomfortable. With the price of the food, we expected better service.

In the area unfortunately for a funeral. Traveled down from North Wales. We could not fault the Riverside Inn. Our room was absolutely spot on. The whole place was spotless. Holly and the team were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
