This is the best fish and chips takeaway in the locality, never had a poor meal. They also offer a range of other takeaway foods but I have not experienced them so far

Food is very good When its busy, the food is prepared to order, this is fine, but if you just want a portion of chips, you have to wait while all the other orders are fulfilled. Most chip jobs will, just give you the chips straight away. Large portion of chips, is not really very large.

Popped in again for a light bite lunch. Great fish and chips friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

Ordered regular & large haddock with chips over the phone. Order was timely, staff friendly, but food was not what we’ve been used to. Haddock was very thin & batter tasted/looked different to what we had last month. Both felt extremely disappointed. What has changed?

Went for lunch today. I can't eat a lot but they serve smaller portions for £5.90 which included hake, chips and mushy peas. I was so pleased to have hake in a chippy,and the portion size wasn't mean. Really delicious and lovely friendly staff. Please go there, we need to keep these guys in business.

Since moving to the Bath area we have been trying different chippy’s. This one is by far the best. Neat and clean shop, and best cooked fish and chips.

Went there recently and ordered a (s)hardy pea fritter. The exterior was firm, crisp, and delectable. The interior was a green pea dream boat, steaming with anticipation of being consumed. On the next trip to TYNINGS <3, we ordered a pickled onion and it was simply scrumptious. Although - nothing beats the fritter! Would recommend 100% for date nights, wedding venues and funeral after parties. Has anyone tried the roitesserie chicken? Thinking of getting it next time! Best of luck with the business Ray.

So it’s a choppy. But you know what? I had a great experience. Walked in to a small queue (although have seen people queuing outside before now) and was served quickly by a young lad who took my order. This might sound stereotypical but often these young lads don’t really seem that interested in their work- it’s only a bit of money right ? But he was pleasant and took my order and passed it on. And while I was waiting another young lad called over to check I had been served. I really like that. Too many of these places employ people who ignore you or couldn’t care less, but the service was good. The order ready in 10 minutes and stayed hot on the drive home. 2 large cod and 1 large chips shared out with mushy peas and curry sauce. Crispy batter. Crispy chips. Lovely well cooked enormous cod with lovely flakes of fish and no skin or bones! Perfect. Just the right amount of salt and vinegar. Nice firm proper cardboard take away boxes and change from £20 Genuinely couldn’t ask for better. Thank you and we’ll done guys. Highly recommend

We've been enjoying fish and chips from Tynings ever since they reopened. Clearly so are the rest of Saltford as the shop is often busy with a queue outside... but its certainly worth the wait. Large portions of fish, good quality chips, tasty home made fish cakes... and their seafood basket special is incredible, especially with some curry sauce to use as a dip. Keep up the good work and we'll definitely keep coming back!

Have been here a few times now when I visit my Dad, every time the service is fantastic and friendly. The food is great, the batter is always dry and crispy not running with fat, same with the chips. We always ring through with an order and then go and pick it up, ready for you when you get there. Great value too, generous portion sizes.

Ordered fish and chips for take away. The battered fish was excellent and the chips are nothing less. The staff are very polite and friendly. I will definitely order again from this shop. If you haven’t tried yet, please give it a go. Highly recommended!!

Went a few times but recently the fish doesn’t taste good. Feels like it’s been frozen. Ordered two kids chicken nuggets. Got one fish bites. Noticed and took back and ended up with two fish and no chicken nuggets. Chips were soggy every time. I won’t be coming back

Superb fish and chips - portions good and really tasty. And they've found a way to operate safely in these coronavirus times.

All i can say is absolutly superb, generous portions, will deffinatly be going back for more. if you are local or just passing by its worth a visit if you want a great take away, Good value, with specials menu board,.

Fantastic cod and chips, best I've ever had! Good service and inside is very clean and modern. Limited seating. Be aware - wait times can be high, but they're worth it in my opinion!

Family of 4 feed here, portions were very good and all were fantastic. Very filling and worth every penny! Well worth the 15 min drive! Will definitely be back!

Have been here twice. Had the most delicious cod the first time and a reasonably priced small fish, chips and mushy peas the second time which was also delicious. The staff are friendly and care about what they're giving you. Well worth a visit.
