The best restaurants in South West

The cafe is in the busy St Werburgh's Community Centre so there are usually parents with young kids, people using the centre's PCs, and a very diverse range of courses and meetings going on. Food is veggie/vegan, some fantastic lunches (I a great fan of the cheese and baba ganoush toasties!). We've been going there since it opened and have always found the staff very friendly. Today they had to close early because of staff shortages ... but though they should have said no, the proprietor cooked us toasties, served coffees to a group who arrived later, made a drink for someone, and so on. Great as usual!

It has everything you need good service great food lovely staff big fluffy dog to cuddle good in the day and at night I come here every day and never disappointed try it out for yourself

Lovely place, stumbled upon when needed a break,snack & coffee. Lovely toastie and scone(warm with clotted cream & jam) Great coffee and extremely polite and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Delightful ambience and helpful staff, but more specifically the BEST mocha with oat milk I’ve ever had. Thick, creamy, delicious. Highly recommended.

Don’t bother, service very slow and it wasn’t even busy, when we remind them we were still waiting we were told we haven’t even started your order thanks for reminding us! lunch food was very average. Wouldn’t bother again, shame as a lovely location.

Great little place, excellent Dim Sum, though limited options. Staff were very good. It's not the type of place you go to for a lovely relaxing lunch, it's ideal if you're in town and fancy a good dim sum, well cooked and tasty and not expensive at all

I popped in here today and I’m sorry but disappointed in what was on offer. I didn’t find them particularly welcoming. My baguette (Brie, cranberry) had limited filling. The daily soup (parsnips and chilli) wasn’t very flavourful. The baguette that cake with the soup I don’t think they could have put any less butter on it. I was the only customer, cane in during lunchtime and they seems distracted/rushed. Just a shame but sorry won’t be going back. The baguettes were fresh and they were good.

Amazing food, so tasty, with depth of flavour and a kick to leave your tongue tingly, depending on what you order. Definitely the best in town. Deliveries are in good time with friendly, professional drivers. Very highly recommended. Can’t rate it highly enough.

Come in for a drink after work most evening, good prices and the manager is great, good banter and can have a laugh with her! Wish more people would come through the door! Pool table is really good too!

The tastiest coffee ..in fact had 2 cappuccino's as it was so good & lovely lunch. Beautiful decor, Warm friendly service, lovely vibe met with family friends, looking forward to a return trip to Backwell.

Necesitaba un lugar para hacer un poco de trabajo en mi portátil por la mañana y eran muy serviciales. ¡El mejor blanco plano que he tenido en Bristol hasta ahora! Ambiente encantador en el interior también, era un día aburrido, pero estoy seguro de que sería encantador sentarse fuera junto al río cuando es agradable también. Los baños eran muy modernos y limpios. ¡Volveré!!

Foot rather warm,not good for Sunday lunch! Staff could have been more service conscious.

Excellent value for money. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Deffo come again. My hubby and I enjoyed the breakfast pancakes.
