Great little place, excellent Dim Sum, though limited options. Staff were very good. It's not the type of place you go to for a lovely relaxing lunch, it's ideal if you're in town and fancy a good dim sum, well cooked and tasty and not expensive at all

Searched everywhere for a Chinese takeaway near Westbourne and this was perfect. Worth the drive to the triangle to pick it up. Food was great quality.

The original "retired" chef is back running this place. We started with salt-pepper crispy squid and dim-sun chilli phoenix claws. Then sweet-sour chicken Hong-kong style, Duck in Black bean sauce and pak-choi with oyster sauce. They were all very good back to previous quality and standard unlike those from previous management prior to COVID lockdown. Will visit for Dim-sum lunch.

Visited for an early evening meal during the bank holiday weekend. The diner was nice & cosy and service was good. We ordered a beef hor fun and a number of dim sum dishes - fried prawn dumplings, steamed glutinous rice parcels, fried meat croquettes, steamed chives & prawn dumplings and spring rolls. Everything was cooked fresh & piping hot, which was good. The meat filling of the spring rolls was nice & moist. There was a generous amount of prawn in the fried prawn dumplings though we have had better dumpling skin. The filling of the meat croquettes was very tasty. The hor fun was a bit mushy so could have been better though there was a good amount of beef with the noodles. The steamed chive & prawn dumplings were succulent & tasty. We also enjoyed the steamed glutinous rice which was soft & moist & filled with meat though there wasn't Chinese sausage. There was chilli oil on the side but there was hardly any chilli, just oil! The container was also a bit grimey. The eatery seemed pretty popular & filled up as the evening progressed. Overall, we enjoyed the meal & the food was generally good.

We've been here a few times now for dim sum lunches. This is the type of place you normally just drive by, but what a great find! The decor is simple, clean, almost café like and the lady who looked after us was welcoming and really efficient. The couple of times we've been, the restaurant has been full shortly after opening so probably best to get there soon after opening if you don't want to wait for a table. Each time we've just had the dim sum, but the other main dishes that people were having looked lovely and the selection is huge on the main menu. The dim sum really was excellent, a small menu, but everything we had was great and how fabulous to not have to travel to Bristol or Southampton to enjoy dim sum again! The cheung fun with pork was really good and each time we've had to order a second portion! Nice prawn dumplings and pork siu mai but the chinese chive and prawn dumplings were really tasty and something a bit different. The bbq pork buns were nice, as were the pork dumplings. Great turnip cake as well as shredded fried squid. They've obviously just focused on the dim sum classics which they do really well. We shall be returning very soon for another lunch. Hopefully if it is well supported, which it does appear to be, it will stick around as it really is great to have this sort of food available in Bournemouth. I've also been solo which I felt comfortable doing and would do again. A really good dim sum lunch for 2 (and we didn't hold back food wise!) was £37, great value I think.

No idea why this place up the triangle (next to Smokin’ Aces) isn’t heaving; the food is absolutely gorgeous, very reasonably priced and it’s the only Chinese takeaway between Branksome and the Lansdowne. The interior decor leaves something to be desired but if you want some decent munge and you’re around town, get it in your face or it’ll go out of business and I’ll not have a good place to eat that’s 3 minutes walk from my front door!!!

Went today to this small restaurant in Bournmouth, first thoughts it was very small and very basic inside like the inside of a take away. Young lady serving very attentive and smiled, big hit with me when staff smile. Reviewed the menu which was huge so found it difficult to choose as some of the listing i have never heard of. We chose Ribs starter which was gorgeous and hot and sour soup which was thick and very chili hot, which i always like.I always check a chinese restaurant when the hot and sour soup is good.We both opted for the Kum Po Chichen, which was lovely and straight out of the wok, nearly burnt my mouth it was that hot(my fault).with that we had stir fried rice which was a huge portion, together with stiry fried vegatables which too was very hot, had to wait for it to cool down.Reasonably price for lunch. Recomend it anyone, some some chinese were eating the so thats a good sign.

This Restaurant is easily missed due to the extensive roadworks but trust me it is worth a visit as you will surely return time and again. Drawn to this by the additional menu of Dim Sum. Cheung Fun and many other dishes not usually found outside London. The Waitress is welcoming and such a hard worker, the tables and utensils are spotlessly clean. The Menu allows such a variety and all the dishes are well presented and what you see will only be surpassed by the taste. Not too many tables but usually at least 70 percent occupied and mainly by very social Asian clients. Many families and groups all enjoying the experience. When you have visited, do give a report. This Restaurant deserves to be recognised.

This is such a gem of a place tucked away from the centre. Very varied menu with lots of choice (and a separate dim sum menu too). I had a meal with rice and a drink and it came to under £15. Food was hot and tasty. Staff friendly too. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Ordered a takeaway on a Saturday night via Uber eats. Was really disappointed as it didn’t taste fresh at all. The prawn toast was inedible, it was so hard and chewy? Did not enjoy the chicken either as it had a funny taste. Some parts of the takeaway tasted ok but overall would not order again.

The last two times I ordered from here, I was hit with a severe stomach bug, almost instantly after eating through the night and next day. This used to be my favourite chinese, but my 2 last experiences have been critical and maybe a review of the kitchen needs to happen. Waste of money and a very bad stomach for 2 days to come.
