Best Kebab shop in Trowbridge. Finally a decent take away with a good array of menu. Fresh top quality meat , very tender and tasty. Even the pita bread is fresh and baked to perfection. The cheesy chips were also top tier with mature cheddar . Will be visiting again soon .
We love coming here as we always get such a warm welcome from staff and the food is amazing. Being a Monday night it was really quiet but I felt like that helped make it more cozy and personalised.
The portions were good. The pitta bread is incredible and they brought back their cocktails and chocolate fudge cake!

We had an amazing dinner at Olio restaurant. The entire hotel is dog friendly and so is the dining area. My dining companions said this was the best rice pudding they had ever eaten (pictured). They had the salmon, I had the cauliflower steak and another person had the lamb. All were incredibly delicious.

Fabulous place to go for an afternoon tea. I was using a voucher that I got for my birthday. I booked online, which was super easy and you get reminders which is also helpful. The staff were so lovely and friendly and attentive and the food was just fabulous. We will definitely be back!
What an amazing place, over the last year I've tried all the cafes in tavistock and this is by far the best.
Home cooked food at its best, the quiches and cakes are to die for.
They use local ingredients to support other local businesses which is really important to me.
If you're taking the kids then the grazing platters are brilliant.
The coffee is fantastic, and you get a proper sized cup.
The little things really add up here and it's cracking value for the taste and quality of the food.
So many pubs have gone Gastro, been Gentrified or have been refurbished to suit a 'trendy' market. Not the New Inn though thank goodness. This is a traditional British Village Pub, focussed on providing well kept beer by a genial landlord who interacts with his customers really well even though he may never have met them before. The locals are just as friendly; they welcome a chat with you about anything under the sun. The food offering is really good basic pub grub - no Jus here - with a limited menu which majors on burgers and extremely good steaks. Food volume and cost are both outstanding - with the former you get a lot, with the latter you pay very little. Long may the New Inn thrive and prosper, keep up the good work Landlord!
We were a large group dining here to celebrate two of our friend’s birthdays, and it’s safe to say we’ll be coming back to celebrate every occasion and more!
The restaurant and outside spaces are beautiful, the staff were fantastic and really looked after us, and the food was exceptional!!

Had a delivery first time through just eat not their fault wrong order delivered completely.
Driver didn't speak English ran off he knew he delivered wrong order. Rang company they have got me a full refund some other person has got my lunch hope they enjoy my delivery leaked all over the kitchen floor and im Hungary too. Don't blame Westbourne idiot driver hope they don't use him again he was awful asked to see order and he ran off.
Really disappointing, 2/3 portions of food were tepid, batter soggy on the bottom, fish bites dried up, sausages not hot and greasy. The portion of freshly cooked cod was by contrast delicious. The dog had a feast
Not quite the cool bar it seeks to be. Very dark (almost zero lighting). Terrible service, however they did have easily the best top shelf spirits in Plymouth
We're regular visitors to Mount Edgcombe park. We always try to visit The Farriers. The bacon sandwich (from the breakfast menu) is a fabulous start to any walk. If we're there later in the day then the cakes are our choice. All homemade. My husband votes for the fruit scones as the best he's tried
Let's be honest he's tried a lot! I'm working through the cakes but confess the fresh cream Victoria Sandwich will take a bit to beat. Lovely staff, quick friendly service and a great atmosphere. Can't fault it and will be back soon.
Been meaning to write this for ages.
‘The butchers mate is in my opinion the best cafe in Bassett! The food is beautiful and top quality but more than anything it’s the people that work there that so obviously care about what they do that makes it.
I first started going 2.5 years ago when I had just moved to bassett. I had a 3 year old and a new born and we were just coming out of lockdown. For any new mum the chance to have a cup of coffee in peace without feeling you and your kids are in the way, causing distraction or generally be a pain is a god send. The people at the butchers mate always made me feel welcome - took the time to interact with my kids and never judged when I would inevitably have two screaming kids, tantrums or a just a normal crying baby! My kids now know and love the cafe and lovingly call it the ‘beans on toast shop’.
It’s great and I am very grateful! Massive shout out to Claire and the team. Xxx
