ARC espresso bar + deli in Cheltenham

Flat white and Salami sandwich were excellent. Perfect spot for a coffee near the station.

Fantastic coffee shop and probably our favourite in Cheltenham. Lovely staff members who are always serving you with a smile and upbeat attitude. They are also super nice to our dog whenever we go in which is always extra brownie points.

The best cinnamon rolls in town. I honestly dream about them. Even now I’m contemplating a walk in the rain to get one. The oat cappuccinos are incredible as well and I love their Magic Stamp frequent-customer app as I can never remember to bring a physical punch card. Highly recommend.

I love the coffee and people in ARC. They are genuinely interested to talk to you and they make really high quality coffee.

Wonderful town cafe, lovely choice of coffee with something for all tastes and knowledgeable staff who can talk you through the variety of bean choices to make your perfect cup. I didn't have any food but the cakes display looked very tasty. The cafe smells lovely when you walk in and you're greeted with a smile from the staff. Dogs welcome.

We had been meaning to visit our local cafe for ages. ARC is our new favourite spot: great coffee, amazing food, lovely people. I can’t believe it took us so long to make our way in and I wish we made it a priority sooner! It has a home away from home feel, making it a peaceful place to spend a few hours. We’ve also popped in before catching a train and they kindly accommodated our less than ideal timing.

Positioned dead opposite Cheltenham Spa railway station on Gloucester Road, is a delightful coffee shop with a warm, cosy atmosphere. The cortado I enjoyed was perfectly balanced and crafted to perfection by the evidently skilled and friendly barista, and the flaky almond croissant was just the job. With plenty of plug sockets and a comfortable ambiance, it was a great spot to plug in and do a bit of work. The quietly funky music in the background adds the perfect touch. Watching a steady run of regulars coming in suggests it's a favourite amongst the locals. Highly recommended ★★★★★

The best coffee shop next to a train station I've ever been to. A wonderful range of food, a lot of interesting pastries and baked goods that are different and interesting from the usual fayre. Lovely coffee, my cortado was so good and they have a great range of coffee beans and other delights in their deli to take home. You could visit here many times and try something new on every visit and leave with a skip in your step. I will definitely be returning.

Went to ARC this afternoon. Tried a garlic and herb savoury pastry that was delicious. Really friendly staff and good service as always in ARC.

Yesterday, I paid £4 for a takeaway almond croissant that had the consistency of a brick. Unfortunately, I was sat on a train by the time I realised just how stale the pastry was, so I couldn't complain and ask for my money back. Food aside, the staff seemed friendly enough.

This place is a little deli haven! Outstanding and especially delightful staff; superb coffee that is well presented; and tasty treats suitable for most dietary requirements.

I've been following ARC espresso bar + deli on Instagram. I visited on Saturday 10.9.22 with my friend. The café is just outside the entrance of the train station. We both enjoyed our breakfast 😋 I opted for a hot chocolate with oat milk, my friend enjoyed an English breakfast tea. She had the almond croissant and I had a blackberry friand. Lush!!!! So delicious and not too sweet with the right balance and texture. Definitely going back to try the other cakes they freshly bake every day. They also have the magic stamp for you to collect your points via the app.

Really good coffee, but everything else is extremely pricey, and none of the baked goods are priced up, so you either have to ask or accept a croissant is £4.50. I asked them about this, as a customer before me queried if his bill was correct- it was alarmingly high for a couple of coffees and a pastry or 2. The response was that they price things by weight of ingredients, but how should that prevent them from being transparent and honest about their prices? It shouldn't. In any case, their explanation is clearly rubbish - as they decided to price nearly all their baked goods at exactly £4.50! If it's £4.50, make it clear. Also, small (admittedly artisanal) Spanish crisps - £3; a larger bag £5. Again, no prices visible. I can only conclude they are lazy OR hoping to catch out passing trade (they're opposite the station) who order without asking and then are too embarrassed to do anything other than pay their painful and perhaps in some cases unaffordable prices.

Good hot chocolate served quickly and by a friendly barista. Nice atmosphere and situated conveniently near the train station.

I absolutely love Arc. Coffee is excellent, so too are the rose lattes. Totally delicious pastries… the Babka buns!

Nice, mellow coffee with good execution. The place is quite small but with good ambience; it could be a little cooler inside. Light snacks (both sweet and savoury) available.

Stopped in today on a long road trip, some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Really lovely little place, a proper gem! If we didn’t live so far away I’d be in every day! The cakes were delicious too!

I had a cortado here. It was a well made coffee. I think they were using Ozone coffee which is really good stuff. The space is pleasant. The staff were polite and warm. The pastries were a real stand out. All of them looked seriously fancy. I have an almond croissant which was delicious. Worth going out of your way for.
