We walked from Caw Sands to Mount Edgecombe and decided to treat ourselves with lunch before the walk back. We were not disappointed absolutely gorgeous food and the best chips my husband has ever had.... high praise because he has had a lot!! Loved the fresh green tea what a treat. Thank you!

Wow what a wonderful experience! From the service team to the kitchen team. Our order was taken and all questions were answered extremely well. When the food arrived it was absolutely yumptious and my friend commented “This is the best food I’ve had out in a very long time” and we all wholeheartedly agreed with her whilst trying to stuff our faces with more of their delicious grub!! Great atmosphere too xxx

If you're visiting Plymouth this place is a must. I've been searching for the best cream tea since moving here from London 3 years ago and I've found it here! Now of course this is a CORNISH cream tea it must be said. Proper heart attack clotted cream, strawberry jam with strawberries in it, a scone with raisins and... its massive. Stong, quality, real tea and water that doesn't taste of limescale. Get the cremyl ferry over and walk up the hill. It's worth it. Also, rustic chips cut with a top secret instrument - a guy coming out the toilet told me those chips were the only reason they'd left the house. Friendly and warm service, beautiful park, loads of dogs, can't get enough of it!!

Staff very welcoming. Nicely thought out use of former stables. Cleverly sited at end of premises is a child’s play area. Loose leaf tea in a pot, and the cakes really looked and tasted homemade.

Disappointed with our visit today after many good experiences at this cafe. I politely asked for the flatbread with falafel instead of halloumi and was met with a 'No'. Falafel was on the menu as a burger but I would have really liked it in a flatbread (with Med veg, pesto etc would have been great!) It would not have been difficult to do this but they obviously could not be bothered. Poor customer service so I won't give them my cash again.

After walking Mount Edgcumbe, we stopped for a bite of lunch and were pleasantly surprised! The caesar salad was well-prepared and adequate, quickly served as we sat in the open courtyard. We would recommend this any time.

We called in for lunch and had a great experience. The converted stable building is beautifully decorated, and the staff were super friendly. The food was very tasty. Well worth a visit.

We came here on a special family occasion as it’s one of our favourite places. Shane and his team could not have been more welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a few people with allergies and everyone was welcomed and looked after so well. We cannot wait to come back!

The best Dahl with homemade flatbread and kimchi ever! We waited a while to get it, along with a curried soup with home made bread, but wow was worth the wait. Chef working out of a tiny kitchen obvio

Visited here as the reviews were good. Service was good, staff friendly but our scone as a little undercooked which made it stodgy, sadly.
