Lovely sausages and chips - even had some of yesterdays sausage for the dog! 🐶 ❤️

Love coming here to eat as the staff are so friendly, the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. I also liked that they serve local beer. Just a shame it's going to be closing 😕

I took my boyfriend to the king rufus for his birthday and I was a bit disappointed with the staff it's been the first time that I wasn't happy there the staff were very unhappy and they wasn't as friendly and no one greated us at the door but I booked a table so we just went and sat down and I had to go to the bar to let someone know we were there

Great food and service as always. Love the mixed chicken and donner with chips and spicy chilli sauce.

Beautiful traditional pub, friendly hosts and atmosphere, nice ale, pool table, darts board, would spend a lot of time here if this was local to us.

Llegué aquí para encontrar el personal se sentó fuera fumando, pidió un souffle, dijo que tomaría 5 minutos, el personal salió a fumar y se olvidó de mi souffle y se quemó! todo el lugar apestaba a quemado, 20 minutos después llegó el souffle, hacía frío en el medio, experiencia muy decepcionante

A very cosy micro pub, that is well decorated and welcoming. It didn't seem to have as larger selection of ales as some, but plenty of gins.

This was some of the nicest food I have ever had - I have never seen any place like it. The owners are really genuine and likeable. I had the chicken tikka roll - 10/10 recommend to anyone passing by you wont be disappointed. The chicken and the roll (paratha) are so fresh and taste amazing

Fantastic pub and restaurant in Stoke Hammond. Thirty minutes walk or a short bus ride from the Old Dairy Farm campsite and closer to the Grand Union canal, this pub is a real gem. Very friendly and welcoming staff on both visits and the menu was superb. The quality of the food matched the descriptions and we had two very good meals there. Add Timmy Taylor’s Landlord or Proper Job and the beer drinkers will be happy too. Large terrace for the warmer weather.

Excellent and well cooked fish'n chips. Crisp and light batter, generous portions with a good traditional menu choice. A very friendly team led by Mei with Jimmy and Sam. Prompt service, good value for money. Would definitelty recommend and come back A "must"!
