I attended here for Sunday lunch for my 90 year old father in law and husband. Food is always fantastic and it is obvious the team are of a high standard and work well together. I have visited here several times on my own and with friends and always notice how friendly staff are and eager to make you feel comfortable. Very impressed today with how a young female server dealt with a grumpy elderly female customer. She went above and beyond in her efforts to placate her. Amersham residents are very lucky to have The Griffin in their vicinity.

We order every other week for 4 people. My usual a mixed grill and two portions of masala fries. Usually a fantastic meal but tonight everything was completely dry , obviously reheated from yesterday. Will not be ordering again
Have been many times and also had takeaways. From my very first visit to the most recent I've never been less than impressed. The food is outstanding along with the quality of ingredients, the service is second to none. When my family visits it's the go to place for a special meal. Cannot rate highly enough. May our patriotism long continue. Worth more than FIVE STAR review.
I was craving Jamaican food as was meant to go to an event which I didn’t unfortunately get to go to so decided to go and order from the restaurant.
Ordered the boneless curry goat with rice and peas, plantain and coleslaw plus secondary school cake.
To say I was impressed was an understatement.
The beautiful coolie sister that served me was soo pleasant and she threw in 2 dumplings as it was close to closing.
Flavoursome, fresh and tasty with a smile.
Definitely going to be spending money here!
Keep up the good Yard food so we can keep supporting and eating real good.
Always a reliable, good value venue for breakfast or lunch. Huge array of options, excellent service, friendly staff and comfortable too. Great place for a hearty breakfast!

Visited for a mothers day meal, food was excellent. It was a shame it wasn't busier to give the place more of a buzz but we had a really lovely evening.
We ate at Interlude for lunch. The menu is a total delight for the taste buds. It is difficult to single out individual courses as everything was delicious but if I had to it would be the poached oyster in a delicious buttery sauce and the rabbit course, which was like 4 scrumptious rabbit and carrot canapes. The menu has an occasional South African theme, reflecting the chef’s heritage as well as foraging which is woven into most of the dishes. We will be back for the slightly longer evening menu.
