We had drinks and some nibbles! Good vibe and no dress code which we were happy about. Bit expensive on the food for just small plates but for a fancy bar, we knew to expect it. Would come again, but just for drinks

A lovely afternoon tea! Excellent & professional service! Yummy savoury, cakes & scones! Nearly 20 different tea & coffee selections & unlimited refills are welcome! I would like to say thank you to the waitress, Jenny who takes care us heartily.

Dropped in for coffee with friends to watch the planes. You can imagine our disappointment when, from the Sky Bar... all you can see is Sky! They have blocked the view of the airfield by putting some sort of blocking sticker on the lower part of the windows and then putting blinds on each and every window! Shocking! Now there should be high tables and bar stools for those who want to see out... or remove the unnecessary window dressings. OK, the blinds may block out the sun on sunny days, but on cloudy days, why now pull them up and let the light in.

Superb, elevated afternoon tea experience. We were given a voucher for my husband’s birthday to enjoy Contemporary Afternoon Tea at The Aviator and our experience today was first class. As others have mentioned, the hotel has ample free parking and we were even able to charge our EV for free on our visit today. This was very much appreciated. We dined in the Sky Bar with a fantastic view of the private jets coming in to land on the airstrip which was a nice touch- even on a cloudy day. The furnishings are sumptuous and comfortable and we were lucky enough to have our own little nook with a sofa, coffee table and 2 chairs all to ourselves. Service was exemplary from Adel and we loved her explanation of the teas available for us to choose. Adel’s recommendations were spot on and complimented the afternoon tea wonderfully. I would highly recommend you try the Milky Oolong which had a wonderful, buttery shortbread aroma with a touch of vanilla sweetness. The food itself was fantastic and fresh. It comes out beautifully presented on a stand but you are asked to let them know when you’d like your scones so they come out to you warm which was a lovely touch. We didn’t expect to be so full but the buttery scones were amazing (fruit and plain- served with clotted cream and a delicious whipped raspberry jam) so we ended up taking a few of our cakes home for our family to enjoy which was great. We loved the fact that you could enjoy unlimited teas, coffees and even hot chocolate if you wished. The drinks list is comprehensive and exactly what you would expect from an upscale hotel but we didn’t think that the prices were too bad so we had a lovely G&T and Aperol Spritz in addition to our choice of teas. All in all, it was a fabulous afternoon tea. We have paid more at other establishments and not enjoyed it as much as we did at The Aviator. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we are already planning a return visit to bring our parents for a little treat. Thank you to all of the team for a wonderful experience today, especially Adel.

Fantastic afternoon tea at the Aviator Sky Bar! This was one of the best we've ever had. Exceptional quality, value, and flavor. The service from Adel was brilliant, world-class; she's an asset to the hotel. The afternoon tea is £35 per person and comes with homemade sandwiches bursting with flavor and quality. The scones were warm and buttery, and the desserts were memorable. The Sky Bar overlooks Farnborough Airport, where you can see private airlines land and take off. We definitely recommend it and will be back again.

This is a great ideal place for a romantic peaceful evening! Including a fabulous fire right next to you whilst you’re sat on the most comfortable seats you could never imagine to set the mood for a fine evening. Feels like you’re in a luxurious home. The cocktails are outstandingly good and after 2 you feel marvellously tipsy. Food is also outstanding I definitely recommend if you want a stress free evening out! :)

Had an amazing time at the avaitor this weekend to celebrate my mothers 50th, couldn’t believe the quality of service, food and drink I received! Had great service from through bar staff so good I had to speak to the manager and relay how impressed I was! Would without a shadow of a doubt recommend visiting the avaitor :)

We celebrated my birthday with a very British afternoon tea at the Sky Bar yesterday. The savory finger foods and the sweet cakes were truly amazing. We were in particular thrilled by the variety of the Bar's special teas. Our tea sommelier, Adel, was very professional and with a kind and personal touch. She even surprised us with a little birthday cake on a plate. Adel made this afternoon tea experience very special for us. 💞

The best chicken burger I have ever had! Wagyu beef burger also excellent. Superb service from Adel in particular. I'll be back!

If you don't mind expensive, but do enjoy a lovely venue with a sense of special, then you'll enjoy the cocktail menu at the Sky Bar.

The best champagne afternoon tea. First class service and absolutely delicious cakes and savoury dishes. Francesco was attentive and super friendly. Will definitely be back for more.

Nice ambiance but horrible food. It was wrong to expect good food from a bar in the first place. If you want to visit for drinking and hanging around, it is very nice indeed.

An interesting and well appointed place, with some great cocktails. Expect a wait for a cocktail though but well worth it. Staff are professional and polite

We went last night to celebrate my promotion, we know it could be busy as it was Friday night so we did not mind too much the cocktails coming more than half an hour after we ordered them, but I had a misunderstanding with my drink. They did not have one of the ingredients so they can't prepare it but the waitress never told me that, she just said that they cannot add one of the ingredients so she was going to replace it. I ended up with a wrong drink so I have to order a new one. But the waitress that brought the wrong drink was a bit "dry" and not very welcoming...not the kind of treat you expect in a place like this...

We popped in to the Sky Bar before heading into the restaurant. It was busy on a Friday night but the service was excellent and the cocktails we chose, with the advice of the waiter, were excellent both in presentation and taste. Shame we only had time for one! It set the evening up beautifully.
