Delicious food and cocktails. I had the sea bass and it was so succulent and tasty. Even the salad tasted gorgeous. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

MAK has very quickly turned into one of my favourite restaurants in Worthing. I've visited twice in 2 weeks and each time has been amazing. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The decor is gorgeous and everything is so clean. The seating is comfortable and spacious. The food is absolutely spot on. I spent many years eating in Turkey and Greece and so far everything I've had has been a huge reminder of these countries. The mixed shish - wow. I've not tasted meat so fresh and flavoursome in a long time. Portions are huge! Even for the tipsy tapas. Today I had the fillet steak and it was cooked as I asked and what a beautiful piece if steak 👌 The service is great, everyone is so friendly. Special shout out to Ash for being so good with my 11 month old today. This is a Mediterranean restaurant, you don't need to shove things down your throat in an hour. It's about enjoying the flavours, the freshness and the wine (Guv'nor white is now my favourite white wine). If you have room, the pistachio dream cake is unbelievable. If you've not been here yet - go!

Excellent customer service and outstanding food

Freshest food I think we’ve ever had in the UK (big foodies so this is saying something!!). Everything was so tasty and service was great. Did the tapas and sangria deal and value for money was exceptional. Definitely our new favourite restaurant. Decor gorgeous too!

We went with friends on a midweek night out. The food we had was excellent. Nice and flavoursome. We was there for at least 3hours #goodfoodgoodfriends.

Didn't realise it would be so noisy with birthday parties on a Saturday night. Perhaps I should have booked for a later slot when children would have been back home. Anyway the food was good but the wine was really expensive 😕

Amazing. Everything was delicious! Best calamari! All the meat in the mixed grill was so good. So many desserts I wanted to try. The baklava was amazing. I really liked the decor, felt a bit special, glad I dressed up a bit. Go go go!

Went at lunch time today (NYE) and the food and service was amazing! So fresh and exactly what was needed after all the Christmas junk food we’ve been enjoying. Staff were lovely and attentive. Wish we had got photos but the food didn’t hang around for long! Yummy!!

We were looking for a place to have lunch on a Sunday and I’ve been wanting to come in as the decor is always so pretty. The restaurant looks beautiful and the food is delicious! Definitely recommend! And can’t wait for my work Christmas do (I couldn’t help but recommend this place for that 😊) and enjoy the food again!

We didn’t stick around for long. No one was eating so could see service was behind! Table next to us had received moldly bread and when they complained I witnessed staff laughing about it at the serving hatch. That’s when we paid our drinks bill and left. Won’t be returning. Such a shame as our first visit was much different when they first opened!

Really delicious food. Lots of it and beautifully seasoned with lots of flavour! Both of our waitresses were attentive and polite. Cocktails were also very good. Couldn’t fault them - highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

A group of 4 of us have just had a fabulous meal here, we had the offer of 3 plates each which included a sangria for £20 and couldn’t finish it all, very generous portions. Our hostess Zai was brilliant and did a great job, she was friendly and chatty, thank you. Highly recommend!

We opted for the Tipsy Tapas and sangria cocktail. Wow! The food was out of this world. This means going back to try the food from the main menu which looks equally amazing. The vibe:music is relaxed and happy. James was very attentive but not in your face. It’s a lovely restaurant and highly recommend booking in advance to avoid being disappointed!!

The best lamb kleftico and my brother who down from London said it was the best fillet steak he as eaten in worthing fabulous

Great restaurant for a quick bit to eat or a leisurely lunch/dinner with friends. Food was delicious and cocktails made really well. The prices were very reasonable for for the quality aswell.

First time dining at MAK and it was a lovely experience, we had the tapas, chicken parmasean and beef steak. It was all delicious. I can't remember the young man's name that was serving us but he was so lovey and attentive, he recommended a mocktail, but I didn't really enjoy it, so he really kindly offered to make me a different one. I would recommend this restaurant 😋

We booked Mak restaurant for an early dinner for 15 people of varying ages for my daughters Hen do, none of us had eaten there before. Everyone loved the food, there was lots to choose from, one of our party was gluten intolerant, 2 were vegetarian, everyone was catered for. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely dine here again in future

We've just had a really lovely lunch. Friendly, charming service. Very good quality food with very generous portions. Wine was delicious. So much to recommend it.

I recently had my 30th birthday meal at Mak and myself and all my guests were so impressed, the food was absolutely delicious, the service was brilliant and it was just a great night overall. Everything ran so smoothly and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Paul. The music was good and the way the restaurant is decorated is beautiful. I will definitely be back and have recommended to all friends and family!

Sorry don’t like to write negative reviews but on this occasion it needs to be said. 1. Asked for bread whilst waiting for our friend. Bread arrived with no small plates to butter bread on. Had to ask for plates. You would normally be provided with smalls plates wouldn’t you?? What are we supposed to butter our bread on? Our hands??! 2. Ordered drinks and asked for starters and main to come out same time. Had to chase drinks up after 30 mins. They said there was a backlog. The place was half empty. 3. One starter came just before we chased up the drinks. Where was the rest?? We got the rest 20 mins later! 4. As the food and drinks came out late we were still eating when we were told they would be closing in a few minutes! We mentioned the late service of food to the waiter and that we hadn’t finished eating. His response was well you were late! Our friend turned up 15 mins late but that’s not the point? We were looking at the menu whilst waiting for her and ordered straight away after she had arrived. The food was ok, had chicken on skewers with rice as a main. The chicken was tasteless to be honest. No flavour. Going to Fernandos next door was very tempting after! The mushroom in sauce was tasty, can’t really remember the rest it was that good 😐 But to be fair it is a lovely and classy looking restaurant. Will we recommend this place? Yes as it’s still a business trying to make money and everyone’s experience is different! Hopefully a better experience than ours! Will we go back? No 😂 unless we hear things have improved.

Unfortunately I have to give one star to make a review! Visited on a Thursday at 6:30pm. Slow service, awful food and extravagant price!!! We visited for date night, I ordered the Mediterranean prawns to start that said on the menu it came with bread, had to ask for bread - this was then charged as EXTRA! And the chicken skeweres for main, i got burnt chicken on burn bread... no rice or sause. I told the server not to worry about the rice as we had already waited over an hour and a half for food. My partner ordered the king prawn linguine, over cooked LOBSTER not prawns and more side salad then pasta! We did mention that we were not happy, however only got £1.50 taken off the bill for the missing rice. Let's just say we will NOT be returning!

Had a wonderful meal with fantastic staff. Were sat next to a couple who said they were going to write a bad review because they’d been waiting ‘1 hr’ for service. They weren’t - I arrived half an hour before this and they were still eating. Also, when waiters came over to our table they made no attempt to wave a waiter over or call their attention. Anyway, don’t trust Angela’s review. This place is great

Hello. Lovely place and we were taken care of really well by the staff . Unfortunately, food was disappointing. Everything was definitely cooked from frozen. Not a good quality food for a prize.

Extremely bad customer service. Half empty and left unattended for 1h. Food average. My mum cooks much better and she’s a bad cook!

Great food and service. Great selection of drinks both non alcoholic and alcoholic. Food was fresh and well cooked, can't ask for more. Part of a large group everything ran smoothly!

Attended mak in a large group as a company night out. Fantastic night, food was excellent as was the service, paul & the staff could not do enough to make our night, very helpful. Would absolutley recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well done guys, job well done.

Faultless! From the decor to the service to the beautifully presented and absolutely delicious food. We ordered the humus, fig salad, minute steaks and creamy chicken. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with well balanced flavours. We’ll be visiting again very soon!

Would highly recommend the shared plates especially the whipped feta cheese and for dessert churros and the baklava! While the staff were very polite and friendly service was slow as they did seem short staffed.

Wow! What an asset to Worthing. Three of us visited this lovely restaurant last night and what a treat. The food was delicious, wine and cocktails excellent and the staff attentive without be pushy, but friendly and know how to treat customers! The decor, very on trend. We had a selection of starters, sizzling shrimp, halloumi and garlic mushrooms, highly recommend the sourdough and truffle butter! Mains were lamb shanks and a chicken dish, all excellent. For quality and quantity of food prices are cheap. We tried several cocktails favourite was white sheep. Hot butter brandy was nice, but very sweet. Can’t wait to go again. ( can’t seem to add photos?)

Such a shame. The food was excellent, service was decent and a lovely atmos. My wife and I ordered two starters, two mains and two drinks each. Then the bill came... £115?! Checked the reciept and Somehow, two single vodka and lemonades equated to an eye-watering £36! Our server neglected to inform us until the bill came that as vodka and lemonades weren't strictly on the menu they had to make it off menu (strange), creating a wildly high price. Itemised, a single shot of vodka cost £15x2 and the lemonades used in the mix were £3x2. We were disgusted and reluctantly paid the obscene price. The manager was very kind to us and was extremely polite. She re-imbursed us a four pounds and offered alternatives free of charge to take the sting out but sadly we stil paid an egregiously colossal bill for what we had. The experience has left us in two minds, the saving grace being the terrific manager. Ultimately, I would recommend this place so long as you keep a very sharp eye on what you're being charged and why.

It was my first time here and I was nicely surprised about great interior. The food was very tasty, good value for money and the drinks menu was good as well. Very friendly and nice service as well. Definitely recommend and will visit again!

Disappointing they could not serve us properly before the show we told them we were seeing. Service was slow so we had to leave lots of our food. They said yes we can get food out before the time we said. It was all nice enough, just didn't say what they would do.

The food was delicious. It was fresh, well cooked, quickly served, with very good portion and presentation. The service was really good, the staff are very nice and helpful. The interior of the place is phenomenal, I felt like I went to a fancy restaurant. The menus options aren’t very long and complicated they are tasty and simple. I loved it! ❤️ I would really recommend! 😋

We had a really lovely lunch..it didnt open til 1230..its a good looking space and we were attended to by a lovely girl. The food was bistro style, cooked with care and well flavoured. I had 2 smaller veggie dishes n the baklava..everything was very tasty..our hostess had mousakka which was tasty but not truly traditional tasting she said. My hubby had kleftiko and a greek salad and chips were their sides. Good Mediterannean bistro meals and the STP for dessert was ace. The toilets are intriguing.Can recommend. X

Having read numerous excellent reviews for Mak I booked a table for date night with the hubby and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful decor, a lovely intimate atmosphere, excellent cocktails and delicious food. Our new favourite restaurant!

Food, service and cocktails were amazing!

Thought we'd try Mak, was not disappointed at all! Goats cheese starter was so light and fluffy and very delicious. Calamari was done well. Had a sizzling lamb and a lamb shank, both were exceptionally good! Cocktails were delicious, wine was great, decor was stylish. Tables/chairs were comfortable and our waiter was absolutely brilliant! A great waiter who knows how great service is done and does it well! We had a wonderful evening and will be looking for an excuse (and a babysitter!) So we can head back there again soon!

Pretty average food cooked in Fernando's take away next door. Lamb Kleftico was nothing but a supermarket bought shank. I'm guessing that it wasn't slow cooked but microwaved, as was the Aunt Bessie's Sticky Toffee pudding. The only thing that was good were the meat skewers, but then again they would be as that is what Fernando's do! They are cheaper next door too. Service was slap dash and some of our order was missing, only to be brought out when we had finished. We won't be going back any time soon.

Not been here before, ran in out of the rain, absolutely impressive, just had 'small' plates but they're big! Brilliant bruscetta. And my cocktail is hard as nails.

First visit to this restaurant, wasn’t sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised! the whole experience from start to finish was amazing, brilliant food, taste and presentation delicious! Decor very tasteful design, Service very professional and friendly, looking forward to next visit.

Excellent food and good portions, the starter of chicken skewers was so good as was the lamb meatballs, my friend had chicken breast in mushroom truffle sauce which was also very good. Cocktails and wine excellent and service impeccable, attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely be back again soon.

I was taken to MAK for a birthday lunch on Sunday 7th August, the food was lovely and well presented. Service was excellent with good attention to detail. Great decor and very clean facilities. Will definitely be going back, want to try the sea bass and other dishes.

The prices are a bit on the steep side, but for this you get a good menu, varied, with classic dishes, well cooked and nicely presented. Excellent service, nice drinks, beautiful decor. Overall, well worth the cost. Do try this new business. Let's encourage the foodiness of Worthing
