Ordered salad boxes and jacket potatoes for our office lunch. Absolutely perfect. Both were delicious and received great feedback from staff. Every item was labelled with the name which made it so much easier giving out the food. Would definitely recommend if you want good food for the office lunch!

. The curry at this restaurant in Wokingham town is truly outstanding! If you happen to be passing through, I highly recommend stopping by to give it a try. The zesty flavors will surely leave your taste buds tingling. Don't miss out on this culinary experience!

A nice venue with friendly staff. The coffee was quite good, but the "fish finger ciabatta" was disappointing - soggy fish fingers didn't help. We visited due to the reviews, so maybe others have had a better experience, but a restaurant is "only as good as its last performance" so we wouldn't return as consistency is vital

Kimel’s a short walk away and we drop in for a cuppa and cake from time to time. Always good quality and a nice space to sit outside. I had a cheese and ham toastie last week and it was the best toastie I had for ages

On Wednesday 5th July I had grabbed a salad from Waitrose for a 3pm late lunch, here is a bit about the experience I had before going into Greggs....because it is relevant to my Greggs experience. I went to Costa to grab a take out coffee to wash it down with. I waited in line at Costa. There was one person being served in front of me. While waiting I saw there was someone working at the back & another person behind the counter talking on their mobile phone. I waited & waited. I was their menu flick over several times while waiting. The coffee I wanted was £3.55 for a medium cappucino. I waited a couple of minutes more. Remembered that Cafe Nero was across the road so left intending to see if they were quicker & not busy on the phone. Just as I was about to cross the road I spotted Greggs right next to me. I decided to give it a go instead. Gregg is not somewhere I usually associate with coffee. I walked in, was seen & served immediately. I ordered but didn't pay attention to the price so I asked the guy serving me. £1.90 medium cappuccino with chocolate sprinkles. I mentioned to him that it was a lot more expensive in Costa! I went to grab some sugar & be came to find me. He asked what the price in Costa was. He was very interested & was also keen, hoping I liked Greggs coffee. He made Greggs feel like less of a chain, more of an independent place. He was smiley, interactive, interested. The coffee was fine! Just what I needed, just the right size too. But..My server made all the difference! I will be going back. I hope I get served by him next time. 🙂

We came here for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time as the high prices have put us off, but as it was a special occasion, we thought we'd give it a try. Given the reviews and high prices, our expectations were high. Sadly those expectations were misplaced. The food was lovely and the service was friendly. But the service was slow. Our booking was for 8pm. We didn't get our main course until just before 10pm. They said it was because they were busy. If they cannot keep up with the number of tables they have on offer then they should operate as a smaller restaurant or get more staff. Otherwise everything was nice. I just cannot fathom how they can charge so much. For that price I expect to be wowed, not just nice. Rossinis is more reasonable, food just as good, service is quicker. We would only go back if they started charging more normal prices.

Positives first, the ambience is nice and the staff were excellent. The menu is extensive which always makes me suspicious that the food maybe not all made from scratch. We ordered a selection of starters and this increased my suspicions - they were all deep fried and did not taste home made. The gyoza had a taste like they had come out of the freezer, the same with the bao buns. When the main courses came, most of them were served on trays. What is wrong with plates?! The smoked brisket tasted delicious but the chips, again, tasted like bought-in, not home made. If you like burgers, this is a great venue. But if you are a little bit more discerning this is not the place for you. That being said, Wokingham is largely a culinary dead hole, so this is better than most.

Popular with locals there was a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere on our Friday evening visit. The pub area quickly filled up and the tables in the eating area were all reserved so do book the day before. We had a selection of the tapas which were plentiful and tasty with portion sizing being generous so 4 to 5 dishes was more than enough. The duck gyoza and bao buns were excellent but also liked the halloumi fries and fried chicken. Good selection of wine and service was efficient and friendly. Looking forward to returning.

Just had yet another amazing meal. We both chose chicken Milanese which was lovely and we shared a Bottle of Malbec.. Staff are exceptional and really friendly and attentive. When we received our bill we were shocked that there is tax that goes to the government! This is a family run restaurant that is already paying business rates. When does the government stop this greed. The restaurant is already paying tax !
