Served by a young gentleman called Ollie, very welcoming and friendly. Not only served drinks but hard an infectious smile. Top service highly recommended best barman in Wokingham.

It is often the impromptu visits that are the best. Had a few drinks in the afternoon, need somewhere to eat and at the Lord Raglan they made room and 10 of us had a great set of burgers. Everyone enjoyed them, staff were brilliant and recommend for a relaxed dining experience.

I was looking forward to returning to the Lord Raglan as it was on my shortlist for a significant birthday event. As we were a group we had been asked to pre-order our lunch which I find irritating but rather than cancel I ordered sausages and mash from the lunch menu. My sausages and mash arrived promptly and were delicious, so job done. When I went to pay, my meal came up on the payment machine six pounds more than I was expecting so I pointed out I had ordered sausages and mash from the lunch menu, to give them the opportunity to sort it out and earn a five stars review. Instead I was told the price being charged was the correct price for sausages and mash from the main menu, so I paid it despite it being lunch. Just saying. No longer keen to return.

Excellent service, great food and a fantastic vibe! Burgers and tapas here are the perfect accompaniment with an ice cold pint, and there are plenty to choose from. Pull in for a great time out!

There is a new Landlord, Toby who is trying to pull the staff to focus on customer satisfaction. Since Toby has taken over there is remarkable change in the staff, the cleanliness of the premises. The food is always a delight and the service cannot be better. All the staff are extremely polite and helpful. I cannot fault this pub as one of the top places to spend an enjoyable evening 😀

Great service, delicious food. Tom did everything possible to make our experience a good one. Fish of the day was swordfish on ratatouille which was excellent.

Bonne adresse, cuisine de pub, les hamburguers sont pas mal, le cadre assez joli mais le personnel n'est pas des plus agréable.

Ambiente agradável, atendimento razoável, pint por 4,90 £, um pouco caro para orçamento limitado mas dentro da média da cidade. Tem área privativa apertada mas agradavel, área de restaurante e bar, e área externa não muito grande.

Can go to the Raglan for a drink, but is also great for food. Have had family meals here as well as meals with friends / as a couple etc. They have brilliant offers on too (Tuesday you can get 2 for 1 on burgers.) the portions are generous and the quality of food is really great too. Highly recommend for a meal out as well as a pub.

I have been to the Raglan a number of times over the last few months, and think it's now deserving of a review. The restaurant is decorated nicely, in the typical bar/bistro style, and tables are spaced far enough apart, allowing some privacy. Although the menu is two sided, and extensive, I have only eaten one of their burgers (from the selection that takes up one whole side of the menu). With the variety of burgers on offer, it's not hard to find one you'd enjoy; examples would be: the Nacho burger (beef burger, nachos, sour cream/salsa/guacamole sauce and cheese); the Sloppy burger (beef burger, mushrooms, bacon, fried eggs and 2 types of cheese). The staff have always been friendly and attentive, and my food has always arrived quickly. In terms of quality, the food is hard to fault; the beef burgers are clearly made fresh on site, are meaty, and have good flavour. A large portion of home-made chips and salad accompanied the burger. Considering the price, it really is hard to fault the place; even the drinks are reasonably priced (burger~£7, drinks~£2).In summary, if you want a gourmet burger at a reasonable price, in a great environment, and service from friendly and attentive staff, I can't recommend the Raglan enough.

Enjoyed food but visit marred by refusal to do smaller portion for kids. Left spending £10 a hear for a six year old who obviously was unable to eat adult portion
