The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wescott Wokingham South East

Not sure what has happened to this place, which used to be the best Indian restaurant in Wokingham. The food is average at best, and the service is not what it once was. Really sad and disappointing.

New Years Eve meal with friends, very disappointed, the food is normally really good. The chicken was dry and curry sauce like water, we asked for more sauce, this never arrived, no flavour and also not good customer service, will not return, I know it was busy but not an excuse, the food has gone downhill.

Boshaki is an excellent Indian restaurant with equally good service. The food is very tasty and not only extremely good value, but served by very attentive and accommodating staff. Our preferred Indian cuisine in Wokingham.

Second takeaway from here and it is now our favourite. The dishes are well flavoured and good quality, certainly not oily. The 2 chilli symbol gives me sufficient heat without being overwhelming. The fragrance and flavour of the individual spices used come out well. I had chicken dhaba the first time and loved it . This time I chose green king which was excellent and well done to this chef as the prawns were juicy and perfectly cooked. Often in a takeway they can be on the "chewy" side. For this reason alone I trust them! My next test will be a lamb dish. Portion size and price are good. I haven't met the owner but am told he's really friendly.

Quite probably the worst curry I’ve ever had. We called in to order a takeaway which confused them and they didn’t apply the collection discount ! When we got the curry home it was almost cold despite actually having literally just collected it from the restaurant ourselves having waited for it to be cooked.. I had a Jafrezi which was just a greasy brown mush with tough chicken. My partner had a biryani which was completely tasteless. Cold rice - congealed greasy and tough chicken. Avoid ! If I could give zero rating I would.
