Mumbai Wokingham in Wokingham

Second takeaway from here and it is now our favourite. The dishes are well flavoured and good quality, certainly not oily. The 2 chilli symbol gives me sufficient heat without being overwhelming. The fragrance and flavour of the individual spices used come out well. I had chicken dhaba the first time and loved it . This time I chose green king which was excellent and well done to this chef as the prawns were juicy and perfectly cooked. Often in a takeway they can be on the "chewy" side. For this reason alone I trust them! My next test will be a lamb dish. Portion size and price are good. I haven't met the owner but am told he's really friendly.

We ordered from here on BH Monday. The menu is quite small but still has plenty of choice. We selected things that weren’t on our usual orders: railway curry and chicken dabbah. Both were amazing. The aloo chest was also very nice.

Exceptionally nice Indian food at very reasonable prices. Really friendly staff too. We had just moved to the area and were made to feel very welcome. (Paneer cheese was especially good, plus very nice vegan friendly options). We will be coming here again! Dietary restrictions: Allergens were clearly marked and vegan / dairy free options were available.

Have just ordered and received our food ease of ordering very pleasant and helpful staff delivery was quick for a Saturday night, food excellent as usual and I feel good value for money, will order again.

1st visit to this takeaway which had a big reputation. Went for the ‘new’ mixed grill amongst other options. Meat was very fatty and the presentation awful. Also very pricey compared to other Indian takeaways in Wokingham. Probably won’t go back !

Wow what a fall from grace, ordered food at 7.40pm on a Friday evening, after an hour started worrying slightly and so called, no one picked up for the phone for 40 minutes and it closes at 9.30pm, unfortunately food never arrived, we ended up with beans on toast. Unfortunately once bitten twice shy, will NEVER order again from this establishment

This used to be my favourite restaurant in Wokingham / take away selling good food and nice staff. They have recently stopped their loyalty card and more recently enabled online ordering . The prices have significantly risen , the ratio of prawns to sauce diminished. A popadom is £1 per popadom . The naan bread smaller and to cap it all a surcharge payment for the privilege of online ordering Remains good tasty food but recent changes / I won’t be ordering anymore

The food is tasty, as the cuisine generally is, but by no means any better than other restaurants/take aways in the local area - and most definitely isn’t worth the prices. If you get a take away make sure to check for everything you ordered, they have forgotten something both times we’ve used.

We had an issue with our order & the owner sorted it out very promptly. The food is very tasty, great selection too. Will reorder for sure!
