The best restaurants in Goldsworth East Woking South East

Stopped in here for lunch, have to say I was disappointed. Having eaten at many Lebanese restaurants (one of my favourite meals out) seeing a high rating i have great expectations. However sadly it was not worthy of the rating. Way too much Cinnamon poured over the rice and inside the kebabs. Very strange taste. Lamb Kofta kebab had a very strange taste with so much Cinnamon spice added. The Sujuk sausage was a real let down. 3/4 tiny tiny bits inside a pot of tomato sauce and peppers. Not how Sujuk is usually presented. Flavour of the sausage was weak and the salty sauce overpowering it. I sadly wont return as i have eaten as massively better restaurants. Very over priced for the quality of food provided.

What a fantastic place this is!! I hired out Bacaro for my sisters surprise 21st birthday. Adam, the owner of the bar, was a brilliant host and helped to make the evening very special. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone enjoyed! The staff were all super friendly and helped, a big shout out to John behind the bar that made it super fun and had a laugh :)

This is my favorite place in Woking, and even in London! You feel at home! The owner of the business is involved in the process, worries about the quality of each dish. Every time I come here, my mood rises. Thank you!!!! The food is very tasty, the interior is beautiful. I recommend it to all my friends. Have been here before for lunch and had a great experience, so booked for a dinner with friends. The food is ok, nothing exceptional though. The service however (at least from the makes) was below standard. After our mains were cleared we were just forgotten about, not even offered a dessert menu, had to ask twice for a bill. Which had a 12.5% service charge added, have no problem tipping good service, but not sub-par service. Good not good enough to warrant any further visits. Sad as could be so lovely, but felt I was a nuisance rather than a paying customer.

Whenever we go, it never disappoints us. The food is very delicious, people are friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Very good burrito. Rammed full of ingredients. Tasted very good. Very messy to eat :). Would definitely come back again although I would probably give myself time to eat in without making a mess next time.

Great service, lovely food, reasonable prices. Had the baba ghanoj followed by the mixed grill for 2. All lovely and the rice with vermicelli is particularly nice.

We went as a special birthday meal for our son. The waiting staff were attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The food was delicious with great size portions. We will definitely go back if we are in the area.

Appalling! This was quite possibly the worst take away meal we have even eaten. The quality/taste was about on par with a bad supermarket ready meal. I ordered teriyaki chicken stir fry which consisted of some tough dry battered chicken chunks and a slop of sauce on the top. They hadn’t even bothered to mix the sauce in, so it looked like chicken nuggets with a bit of sauce on the side. Clearly just assembled cold and whacked in the micro. The red chicken curry was also bad, dry flavourless and thrown in a red watery soup. When I phoned to say I was very disappointed with the food I received no apology, just a “we’ll tell head office you’re not happy”. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

On a wet Sunday evening in Woking this proved an excellent choice for the four of us. The restaurant was quiet, but quite busy with takeaways, but that suited us. The background music was at the ideal level to allow conversation at the table. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was really excellent. Hot and ample. The manager helped us out by calling a taxi as the one we had used had no vehicles available, so a big thanks for that too. Certainly recommend.

The food is good and lots of healthier options than fast food outlets. Service is quick. Location right in heart of town so is a great option for quick lunch. Close to station, shops and parking. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Recommend the jacket potatoes and the Nigerian Chicken.

I’m so happy that I’ve found this little gem. The food was absolutely delicious and packed in boxes rather than plastic containers. My son who’s a bit of a fussy eater had the jerk chicken, rice, plantain and ate the whole thing. The oxtail curry was cooked to perfection and literally fell off the bone. The whole family enjoyed their meal and we’ll definitely be ordering again.

Poor service and dreadful value for money. I would avoid at all costs! We ordered take away through Deliveroo and spent £38 and received a take away box of food. We got the large lamb souvlaki, with 2 x extra chicken (one gyros, one chicken souvlaki), extra feta and an 8oz feta dip and we received this. The food was dry and poor in flavour and not nearly what we expected. I called the restaurant and was told to take up with Deliveroo and that I could come in and speak to the manager tomorrow. I said no, he could call me. He did and then told me it was the way I ordered it and had I ordered differently we would have received better value for money. I think he was not listening to the fact that it cost £38 for one take away box of food, also that I ordered 8oz of feta dip and only got 2oz. Avoid!!! The guest experience is shocking and the food is not worth the cost; never mind it was actually not even worth the fight in terms of flavour! Way better food out there to spend on!

The food here is amazing. The meat dishes were so well cooked and nicely seasoned. Portion sizes are also good. Staff were helpful too. We were here for a birthday meal and this was a really nice treat. On a side note, I also really liked the decor.
