Jamaican Jerk - Caribbean Takeaway in Woking

I’m so happy that I’ve found this little gem. The food was absolutely delicious and packed in boxes rather than plastic containers. My son who’s a bit of a fussy eater had the jerk chicken, rice, plantain and ate the whole thing. The oxtail curry was cooked to perfection and literally fell off the bone. The whole family enjoyed their meal and we’ll definitely be ordering again.

Delicious authentic home cooked Jamaican food. Good choice and excellent value. The coconut basmati rice with beans was very tasty.

We ordered this for a family party of 18. We were a bit nervous as we hadn’t tried Jamaican food from this vendor before as we usually use a family friend, but there really was nothing to worry about. The quality and taste was great. Really great service, delicious food and generous portions. Very friendly vendors who went over and above to ensure we had what we needed. We will definitely order from here again for future events.

We discovered this takeaway when our kitchen had a makeover and we couldn’t cook at home. We never had Jamaican before and thought we’d give it a try, and it’s a favourite since! The flavours are amazing, especially the goat curry and jerk chicken.

Omgs! The food was amazing! I moved to Send 3 years ago and had no idea this place existed. My friend in London told me about Jamaican jerk and boy I’m glad! The food was soooo full of flavour and the side salad fresh crunchy. I had the oxtail and rice and pea with salad and coleslaw. The rice was so soft and fluffy, and the smell was so divine. The oxtail was well marinated and well cooked, even the bone was soft. I'm not one for reviews but this place is a little bit of Paradise on a plate. Can’t wait for another treat night 👍🏾

I was really looking forward to the food as I’d read the tripadvisor reviews but it did not live up to expectations. The fried chicken was decent but the rice and peas and the plantain were so dry I couldn’t finish them. Plantain should usually be fried so I have no idea how it was SO dry. It’s a shame I was hoping I’d find an authentic Caribbean takeaway but it looks like I will have to keep looking.

Just had curry goat, chips and coleslaw. Oh sweet lord, it was great. Strongly recommended!! Great communication on social too 💕

Gave this a try on Deliveroo, as a change from the usual options. wasn't sure what to expect from the kitchen table operation but was pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken was nice and crispy. The rice and peas seemed wholesome. Doesn't actually contain peas by the way; check out the photos others have left. The vegetable stew (which did contain peas...) was nicely spiced but seems healthy, which is great because you rarely get decent veg sides with takeaway. We didn't realise how filling the little deep fried dumplings were, although maybe that should have been obvious...

I cook West Indian food myself, have been to lots of restaurants. So I think i'm kind off qualified to comment. I never knew this was in Woking . WOW. WOW that's all I can say. The food is Good, nice flavour good service and good value for money. Will be ordering again very soon. I'm happy that I live in Send. Thank You.

Had a great Takeaway meal for 12 of us yesterday.. Curry Goat, Rice & Peas plus all the trimmings... Just perfect. Service & food exceptional. Thank you !

Read about this on our neighbourhood website. So tired of dull curries with no flavour so thought we would give it a go. What a find!! Food was absolutely delicious and so tasty. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be using again and again. Would be great for catering parties etc too.

The food was ready really quickly and was well cooked and hot when it arrived through Deliveroo. I ordered the veg curry and stew, rice & peas, sweet potato fries and jerk sauce. All dishes were vegan and the flavours were great. I was sad the plantain and dumpling were not available, but look forward to trying again soon. I hope when they expand their menu they include more vegan options like jerk meat alternatives, mac, ackee and patty as I am new to Woking and miss vegan Caribbean food.

What a treat. I am Jamaican and not all Caribbean food restaurants and food places are able to pull off exclusively Jamaican dishes. So great to see A taste of true Jamaica on the map in Surrey. At last! I am so pleased to be able to order fresh and flavoursome real Jamaican cuisine when in town. I have ordered a few times from here. I have never been disappointed. My favourite is the jerk chicken. The curry goat and Oxtail are also tasty too. The service is great and attention to detail is within the ingredients. Samantha 🇯🇲
