Outstanding restaurant which was perfect for our romantic anniversary dinner while visiting Berkshire. Lovely ambience inside, soft lighting, cosy sitting areas, beautifully presented. Service from the moment you walk in to the moment they already have your coats prepared is perfect from all the staff, I thoroughly enjoyed their amazing highest-level service throughout the evening. Finally the foods, beautiful canapes with our delicious cocktails, every course was outstanding, even the amazing home-made chocolates with our coffee, such fine touches just exude the quality of this fine dining restaurant.

Hotel is an old historic manor with nicely finished rooms. The service is great and the restaurant breakfast is very good. You can order eggs from the back of you don’t want the full English. The hotel grounds are very nice and I would guess are even better during the summer months.

I booked afternoon tea spa package for my partners birthday and it was perfect from the lovely afternoon tea with little birthday cake for my partner then amazing relaxing couples massage. The spa facilities are five star & very relaxing with no phones allowed. There is a steam room, experience shower & swimming pool with sun terrace but there was no sauna or jacuzzi so I would say don’t just come and pay for the facilities make sure you book a treatment. The grounds of Coworth Park are beautiful and we had lovely cocktails up at the main house. All staff were very helpful and gave fantastic service. Amazingly relaxing day.

I was really looking forwards to Sunday roast. I should have worked out the food is aimed at tourist who have no clue on the food. The portion was very small. There was very little vegetables. The food was nothing special. We sat outside to enjoy the gardens and grounds. The Sunday l roast was £22 each not worth the money. They have lovely staff the only good thing.

We took advantage of their August offer for Afternoon Tea, it was a splendid tea but marred a little by the manager who tried to overcharge us by over £20.00. This was despite having been presented with an itemised printed bill from the hotel, which clearly stated the correct outstanding price to pay. All was eventually sorted out, but it was rather embarrassing as there were other diners in the vicinity.

Good location to have food however the food is limited to the number of tables booked in advance for some reason therefore they only serve food until a certain time unlike the pub next door (Crown&Rose) which serves food for longer hours in the day apparently. There isn't anything healthy to eat as a snack either (Only have crisps and nuts) and apparently they do serve "desert" all hours which was offered to us as after a while we sat down since we seemed to have missed the lunch hour. I, as a vegetarian,I wouldn't have mind to be offered a salad which doesn't need to be "cooked" but "oddly" they seem to have run out of all the food supply (!) as they stated so therefore we were only offered drinks however ordering only drinks didn't seemed enough to order by the reaction we have got as it didn't feel very welcoming despite being a large group with children. Especially when I ordered a non-alcoholic drink as the designated driver...Nevertheless, we "managed" to get a table which was our aim and caught our breath after a busy day in Ascot visiting sites etc. If you are a visiting tourist, beware of the stares by locals as well as members of staff. Despite all, it was an "eye opening" experience. I would not go back for more, though...

Have been going here reasonably regularly for years largely out of necessity (given lack of alternatives nearby) than choice. It has never been a favourite but it was never so bad as to force me to respond. However, the venue has become increasingly frustrating - and sadly typical of so many F&B establishments these days: short staffed, rude begrudging service (particularly amongst the senior staff) and error prone. Be particularly careful with takeaway orders which seem to be wrong 50% of the time. And don't expect anything approaching an apology when you have waited 30 minutes for something only to discover once you are at home that its half wrong.

We booked a table for six for a Friday evening a few weeks in advance. The staff called me and confirmed that under the new, current management, they were still able to facilitate us and we definitely had a table. When we arrived, the staff claimed there was no record of the booking. I showed them my phone log and they confirmed it was their number that called me a few weeks prior. However, despite the date of this call being after they came under new management, they claimed it was not their staff who called me. They took no accountability, did not apologise and only suggested we waited until a table became available. The Avoid at all costs.

Went to the Ascot Cafe on Sunday 30 June 2024 for breakfast. We wanted to have breakfast before we set off on our journey home. We both ordered the full English breakfast with a pot of tea. The cafe was kept very clean, and although a little noisy at first due to being busy, the staff were very friendly. Payment is only taken by cash, but we knew that in advance after researching places to eat. The food was served promptly, and was hot, fresh and very tasty. Parking was available roadside and close to the cafe.
