The best restaurants in Crowborough North Wealden South East

A hidden gem in Crowborough. My husband and I decided to try out Bunmi for something different. The only disappointment of the night was that the place was not busier. The food is delicious and the staff were very pleasant. Will happily return, I just hope others experience the wonderful food.

A really good cafe. Very nice staff. Very high-quality produce. Cooked from scratch and cooked really well. The price is very reasonable. It is much larger inside, so if it looks packed, don't walk away, go and have a look. It extends right back and they have a garden area. The building is cursed with what appears to be tinted glass and this makes the place look dark, but it is not. Once you get inside it is really bright and well presented. Well-styled decor. It is tucked away a bit, a couple of doors down from Corals, the bookmakers. I visited 9/10/23. Give it a go.

Always really impressed by Rose of Bengal, take away or eat in. Dishes always tasty and when take-away is always hot with good portions and well priced. Friendly staff and welcoming. Thanks!

The Raj Poot is always welcoming. Lovely food and great choice. Nice extras such as a baileys to end the meal. Great atmosphere

Being a regular, I am somewhat biased but if there was something worth alerting you to, then I would. Tony and his staff are just continullay accomodating and friendly. Such a bonus for our town. They have always said 'if there is something not on the menu you woudl like, just ask'. I have done this before and again I did when visiting pre Christmas with some friends and family. Not only was it a busy time of the year for them but they also had a Christmas Menu, so the ask was pushing it. No problemo. One call to Rafaella and it was all done. Not only did we get our 'specia requestl' but the Christmas menu looked so good we went agin the following week just to taste that as well.

I didn't go too Burwash I went too wadhurst. I very cheekily asked if they were better than the Moby Dick as the twice I e gone there the food was awful so the lovely young guy said YES!! SO HE WAS RIGHT!!! THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE SEEING YOU AGAIN AND MY APOLOGIES FOR BEING CHEEKY!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING FROM HERE 5 STARS FROM ME!!

Great place to warm up on a cold winters day, I felt so sorry for the poor staff, they were rushed off their feet, and still managed to be friendly and put a smile on

Really poor .. meat and vegetables cut so big needed to eat it with a knife and fork … quality of pork was fatty (dog liked it though) … sweet and sour chicken was good … crispy duck was ok (definitely not a quarter of a duck … they must get more than 4 quarters out of one duck!!!). It used to be our favourite takeaway - it was so poor we won’t be back

Visited white hart on the green for the first time today. The atmosphere and aesthetics of venue are inviting, friendly with a prompt and professional drinks and food services with the greatest attention to detail and fantastic customer service. I will be recommending this venue to friends and family a I will be coming back.

Very surprised to see that all sandwiches and Jacket potatoes were £12.50, have never paid that in a local pub before.The sandwiches were nicely presented, but pub was cold where we were sitting.Ham egg and chips also totally overpriced.Website needs updating as Menu shown bears no resemblance to todays menu or prices

Food was ok when it eventually came. ordered at 5:50pm when it had not arrived by 8pm, we called to be told they were running behind. Eventually food arrived at 8:40pm, driver got rude and aggressive when I suggested taking £5 from the bill due the time of delivery. Ruined our evening to be honest...

Gourmet burger! More like fair ground burger! For £9 I was expecting far better than a microwave burger Very disapointing

Ordered by phone a takeaway to pick up. We were doing 2 seperate orders and lady on the phone was very friendly and efficient. There was a 5% reduction for picking food up. The food was hot and smelt good. Rice, chips, breads and onion bhajees were good. Pathia curries lacked flavour but chicken was tender. Complimentary poppadams and onion salad was a nice touch.
