You won’t get a better Chinese within 20miles!!! Been searching for years to replace our favourite that closed, so we tried everyone we could find within 20miles and found this place in the next town! Hands down the best. Also very good with gluten free/celiac options!

We’ve had two meals from Jade’s Palace now and both have been delicious, with good quantities and friendly customer service. The picture shows the House Dinner A option, with a bit more left in the containers. You could tell everything was cooked fresh, with the spring rolls being homemade!

This was our first time in this restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly and the food was one of the best in East Sussex. Even the other diners were friendly and heard our grandson asking for prawn crackers and they offered him theirs.

My favourite Chinese Restaurant, Ken the owner & his staff look after you like Royalty, and the food is amazing, what a treat!

Best Chinese meal we've had in years! Served by truly lovely staff. At the end, as the staff had realised it was our wedding anniversary, they brought out a huge dish of fritters and ice-cream on the house, with spoons and dishes for everyone to share. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

1st visit and not disappointed. Lunchtime. Quiet but that didn’t detract from the occasion. Food was hot tasty timely. Excellent experience. Sizzling prawns v good. Noodles and rice dishes also excellent. Service was friendly, helpful and patient as we made up our minds! Definitely returning

I’ve been coming to Jades Palace for years now, and I can hand on my heart say that this is one of the best Chinese restaurants around! I recommend pan fried seabass with soy sauce, Vietnamese prawns, satay prawns, and the rest of the menu… 😂✌🏻

Usually good but be warned if you want to pay for a takeaway over the phone. They won't let you, which is weird, and pretty poor.

Always had a lovely meal at Jade's Palace. We booked a table from 6.00pm as we went with the children. We were told that the table would be needed for 8.00pm which was fine by us. After having a lovely starter and main course. We were looking forward to desert. We were suddenly told that we could not have this as the people coming in at 8.00 had arrived at 7.00pm and needed the table. Sorry this is not acceptable!!!

Excellent Chinese meal to celebrate my mums birthday. The food was amazing and the staff looked after us very well, including catering for my daughters egg allergy. Thanks - we will be back again!

Literally the only place to go for Chinese food! Always amazing, eat in and takeaway. All other Chinese restaurants pale into insignificance compared to Jade's Palace. Friendly, fast, generous and tasty!

Just had a fantastic dining in experience. The food was incredible, really fresh (and quick!) and the staff are lovely! Definitely recommend! As for the reviewers who negatively commented on the price, you pay for what you get! I felt the price was very reasonable for the amount of food we had!

Always a welcome that makes you feel good. The food is ok, not spectacular, if you don't want MSG you should avoid certain items as some items are very very sweet!! Not large portions but a good selection. That said I don't eat them my husband does. All in all a lovely small family run place. We come back here every now and again.

Back after a year away . Covid safe environment

This was our first take away from here and we weren't disappointed. They were very accommodating and made a dish for us that wasn't even on the menu! The order was ready in a flash, tasty, hot and staff were lovely.

Probably the best quality Chinese food in Crowborough. Other places might be cheaper but the quality isn't as good. Excellent service too and the owner is always friendly and often gives some complimentary bits with meals. Our kids got bags of sweets.

Absolutely love the food. Unfortunately can only go when with a friend with a car, if it was closer to me, wouldnt use anywhere else. Food fantastic, never over or under cooked. Staff warm and very friendly. Best in Crowborough.

Amazing. Best Chinese Restaurant for miles

We were a post-Christmas party of eight on a visit to this delightful, small and very friendly Chinese restaurant. We were given a very friendly welcome and all seated comfortably and cosily. The service was excellent, fast and attentive, and the owner, 'Ken' made several visits throughout our meal to check on us. The food was excellent, and all of us were happy with choices that we had made. For some of us it was the first time that we had visited this restaurant and we regretted that we had not been before! High recommended!

Average all round. The portions are not big, and the food somehow lacked authenticity. Perhaps trying to cater too much to a western clientele.

We picked up a takeaway from this restaurant. You can easily tell that it’s cooked to order, the crispy chilli beef was not sugary like many Chinese takeaways and the rice was very fresh. Will be returning.

Been frequenting this restaurant for almost 20 years BUT NOW all changed. On Saturday ordered takeaway which was tasteless other than chilies heat. Chicken satay was covered in a HOT SAUCE! Never experienced before. 20p short of £40 and not able to eat it. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? Won’t be going back, that’s for sure With regrets.

Best Chinese in the Uckfield and Crowborough area

The family who run this restaurant are really friendly and the food is excellent. Whenever we ring to order they always ask how we are and I have asked them to add some extra chilly or change something for me and always happy to do so , other restaurants we have used have said they can't change anything . I think this is because Jades are making it fresh and it is not just heated up.

Jade's Palace welcomed us like family and treat us very well throughout. The food was very good and there was good variety but still recognisable go-to options in the set menus. There is some parking if you go up right next to the restaurant on the right, very narrow but usually somewhere to park up there.

Beautiful food, excellently presented. Jade's Palace is a cut above anywhere locally. I should also mention the high level of customer service did not go unnoticed, thank you Jade's Palace for a most enjoyable evening.

Jade's Palace is in a class all of it's own. There's no place finer.
