Total crap service ordered a meal got told a hour and half wait phone to see when food was was going to be delivered got told 30 minutes so cancel order please bring back old owners

This is hands down the best Chinese takeaway food I’ve ever had! Really enjoyable! Everything was cooked beautifully and it was lovely and hot when it arrived. The chicken balls and Singapore vermicelli noodles were particularly excellent!

Sorry to say the food was not good since this people have taken over when it new dynasty food good than change to Lis old owner’s good food but know hit and miss

I was feeling run down being pregnant and not enjoying a Chinese on my birthday (unfortunately they were closed) I decided to give it a go and honestly. Since moving to crowborough in April 2022 we struggled to find a Chinese like where we lived before!! This is the closest one yet and thoroughly enjoyed it 👍 well done guys will probably be ordering again very soon!!

Since moving to East Sussex at the end of 2021 we've been on the hunt for a Chinese takeaway that compares to our old favourite where we used to live. After a few disappointments, we are so happy to have found Li's! Our usual 'go to' vegetarian dishes (vegetable fried rice, mixed vegetable chow mein and sweet and sour mixed vegetables) tasted as good as we used to have. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight and will definitely be back again soon to our new regular takeaway. Just need to remember to bring cash next time, but funnily enough our old favourite used to only take cash too.

The best Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls anywhere, Plus Beef in Capital Style is delicious Delivery is generally pretty fast and before quoted waiting time and prices are reasonable

Under the previous owners, Li's used to be an excellent Chinese take-away. However, recently, the quality has, in my view, deteriorated. During a recent experience, the chicken dishes, such as satay, featured tasteless, seemingly water-filled, possibly formed, meat. A lamb dish was similar, with soft, watery meat joined together with gristle. The Thai curry also had watery meat, and instead of possessing delicate flavours, it was red hot and almost inedible. The fried rice was ok. This is not the first time I have been disappointed with Li's. Sadly, I think that it will be my last order.

Placed order over phone and got told forty minutes wait go in to pay change given change in small change reviewed it ask why do not take card payments not impressed since last owner has left

Great Food, delivery took a bit longer than said but that’s not a problem as everyone was very friendly and not many deliver anyway so it’s a bonus. Didn’t take card though so a bit more of a hassle just lucky we had cash

Great food and all at a really good price compared to a lot of the other Chinese take away options in Crowborough. Also a massive plus that they actually deliver and you don't have to go pick it up! My only criticism is the delivery times can be quite long during peak times but the staff always manage expectations well and are truthful about delivery timing. Would really recommend!!

If I was convicted of a crime I never committed and was subsequently sent to Death Row, LI's Chinese would be my last meal of choice. A delight on a plate that is never late!

I've been to Li's several times recently and the food has been fantastic every time. The chicken balls are huge, and every other dish I've tried has also been excellent. We don't get takeaway often, but when we do it's always Li's.

Sorry too say have give this restaurant three chances to improve when it was woke inn then new dynasty the food was good but now sorry to say will not be using again

Food was not as hot as it should have been,but was delicious! Nice too see it back on forn again will definitely be using again.

Always hot when delivered, great choice. I love the ribs and dumplings. Quick to resolve if something is wrong. Never had a bad takeaway

Haven't used this take away for a while as the food had gone down hill. Chose to this time as they deliver! Arrived with in the time stated on ordering and was hot. Food was delicious and have ordered again since with the same result. Great to know that things have improved greatly, now back up to how it use to be. This is a takeaway only

After a 1 hour wait the driver dropped our food onthe floor then went to get some more Dont go for the chicken curry as it can contain bones. It was unfortunate our regular chinese Yummy house was closed very good

Good take away chinese food, ordered and delivered before time quoted. Good value for money and a good menu choice

We were seriously craving a Chinese meal so decided to give this place one last chance! So glad we did, as our food tonight was so good and flavoursome, with heaps of decent vegetables too. Li's have really redeemed themselves and we are so happy! All of the dishes were delicious with generous portions and complimentary prawn crackers. Based on tonight's quality, I would definitely recommend them again.

This place has changed significantly and not for the better; I think it is under new ownership? The quality of food is now not good, where as it used to be consistently amazing. The vegetarian dishes we had are now seriously lacking in vegetables (!) and any flavour. We have given them several chances just to see if things go back to how they were but I'm very sad to say that they have not. We will now have to find another go-to Chinese takeaway and good ones are very hard to find! Gutted.

Since moving here we have always gone back to the best in town. Loads of flavours and generous portions.

Sorry to say the worst chicken curry I have eaten totally no taste will certainly not use again was good when other owners had it so sorry ill will not be coming back

Still consistently good, extremely delicious and reasonably priced food. Our go to chinese and the meal we had this week certainly did not disappoint. Huge bag of amazingly tasty prawn crackers given as complimentary too. Love it here.

Although the food was delicious the person on the phone was very abrupt and rude. We were quoted half an hour. The food was over an hour and when I rang to enquire the response was. ... 'so?' Terrible customer relations and no apology.

The food is consistently really good! It can be very busy at the weekend, which I personally think is always a good sign. But make sure you get your orders in as you may have a wait.

Un martes por la noche después de las vacaciones de mayo, tuvimos una visita de nuestro hijo e hija con otro de sus mitades. Encontrar que ninguno de ellos había comido intenté llamar nuestra habitual chino para llevar. Por desgracia, estaba cerrado, así que comenzó a encontrar una alternativa. Encontramos de Li para llevar (no una coma) en los mapas de Google y fuimos allí para ver lo que era. Me dio una bastante grande para nuestra mucho y me dijeron que listo en unos 30 minutos. Me mandaron a domicilio prometedoras. La comida llegó humeante y delicioso porciones. Todos disfrutamos muchísimo, y yo le daría 10 / 10. En el futuro se llama ahora de llevar primero. Li !

Li's is a chinese take away or can deliver. The food is always hot and flavoursome with a large menu you'll be stuck to make the final decision,every thing is freshly cooked and you'll want more each visit to try something new the prices are fare and the staff friendly. I've now lived close by for last 10 years and use them for scrummy food as and when I'm in the mood for Chinese food if you have any dietary issues just ask they can try do something for you I personally don't like nuts in food so I them ask to hold in some dishes.

Hands down the best chinese in and around the crowborough area! Food is so nice and not too greasy unlike some other chinese takeaways. The delivery has always been quick and have never had problems with them getting the order wrong. The actual restaurant is very clean and well looked after. I will always come here for my chinese! Never had nasty food from them , definately recommend the satay chicken! Not too expensive either given the good quality of the food .

usually use another takeaway. But thought I'd try li's. Was impressed how nice it was. And how hot it was. Nice quick delivery even on a bank holiday. Can't fault anything. 👍

Pedimos una de Li como hacemos normalmente, pero lamentablemente no será de nuevo.

Recientemente comenzó a usar para la entrega casa Li y ahora orden alrededor de dos veces al mes. Estamos aproximadamente a 5 km de distancia, pero la comida siempre es aquí en la ranura 30-45 minutos indican y siempre caliente a la llegada.

Ordered for 7.30 delivery at 6.30. Food arrived bang on time, pipping hot and absolutely delicious. Best large spring rolls I have ever tasted. Still crisp despite being delivered a mile and a half. Cannot fault the food at all. Will definitely be using Li's again

Love love love this takeaway. So sad they don't have seating like it used to. Would love to be able to sit in and dine. Staff are delightful.

We have used Li's fairly often over the many years we have lived in Crowborough, last night we decided to treat ourselves to a take away. It was terrible, restaurant is dirty and rundown and ther food was tasteless and uninspiring. We will never use Li's agian, such a shame as it sued to be very, very good.

The best (in our opinion) Chinese in the area with the exception of Jades Palace which is quite exceptional.The service is good, they deliver and always promptly, The quality never fails and is excellent

Excellent food. Some Chinese food can be very greasy but this was not the case. Friendly delivery 2 on a busy Saturday night. We will definitely use them again.

Had another takeaway from Li's last night and it was fantastic (all vegetarian choices). All the choices ordered were amazing; hot, tasty, generous portions and no skimping on the more expensive ingredients such as bean curd and mushrooms unlike a lot of Chinese takeaways. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and feel it represents great value. Friendly, reliable, accurate and very efficient service too. Highly recommended.

Got a takeaway from li's last night. Place was rammed full of customers but collected on time as they gave. Got chicken satay, Kung po chilli chicken, mushroom chicken, boiled rice and egg fried rice. Was a really good Chinese! Would happily order again

Never disappoints. The best chilli salt and pepper prawns and chips EVER! Lovely staff, always reliable.

Great food always had good food but be aware if you order by phone for delivery note they do not accept card payment over the phone.Card accepted in store only!!

We discovered this takeaway a few years ago after a recommendation from a friend. It's a 16 mile round trip but worth it. The dishes are of a very good, consistent quality and delicious, and I think very good value. The portions are of a very generous size. Always ready to collect when they say and the staff are friendly. Have just enjoyed a cheeky Sunday night takeaway and once again, we were not disappointed!

Must fully agree with other reviews this is something special , perhaps had gone off Chinese food in favour of Curry , ordered a " Set Meal for Two " , which was reasonably priced and delivered fairly quickly, was struck by friendly staff on phone and delivery person.The food was truly great , way above expectation and has rekindled my taste buds for Chinese ...Superb will be ordering again soon .......... This is one of the best if not the best Chinese takeaways in crowborough,they are quick to resolve any problems you have we had missing ribs and over salted seaweed and it's the only time we have had anything wrong with them, quick to deliver, quick to answer the phone and good size and not just one bit of meat and the rest veg like so many place we have takeway from here about once every 2months, it's great,

the owners and staff at li's are the greatest the food is always of the best of quality always hot and not short of all things take away i will always use these guys for chinese take away as best in crowborough. the staff make you feel welcome every time.

Being new to the area I had the aim of trying all the local take away options however having tried this Chinese I find myself opting to go here rather than try a new one. All the dishes I have tried with my partner have been really good and are of a reasonable size portion wise. The people who own it have always been really friendly when we go in, offering up suggestions of what to have if you are having a hard time deciding.

An excellent Chinese now only doing take always but they deliver ,we always use them and we have never been disappointed, nice people as well

In my opinion this is the best Chinese take-away in Crowborough. I have yet to experience a bad dish and although I keep trying different dishes they are all so-o-o good that it's difficult to choose a favourite, and, the food is always piping hot (another plus point). I can understand why they have opted to do take-away only and they even now offer a delivery service - just right if you don't want to venture out on a cold dark night.

Used to be a nice place to eat but has changed into a take away which does not deliver. Food is good but can be a little over seasoned, service is excellent. Worth a visit if you live locally.

My favourite Chinese - we usually get takeaway but everything about this restaurant is great.They will make things off-menu if you ask too! Recommend for those that like a little spice: the Singapore noodles, the Malaysian rice, the capital spare ribs are divine, and the Szechuan dishes are fab too.
