I don’t live here but whilst staying locally had fish and chips which was absolutely delicious! Best I have had in years.

Ordered a large sausage and large chips curry sauce and mushy peas and the chips tasted like they had been sat there all day and made me feel a bit sick afterwards I know it was about eight o'clock in the evening but still that's no excuse. Think I'll go to the other chip shop in future opposite Sainsbury's.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were golden and crunchy. Great portion sizes and friendly service too. Will definitely be back for more

Just got food this evening, chips cold dry hard, southern fried chicken 2 pieces one all bone and tough and other piece inedible worst had in years what has happened? Only saving grace was piece of fish!!!

Used to be extremely good, but quality has recently gone downhill massively. Sausages are full of fat and gristle now. Chips used to be light fluffy and slightly crispy, now a very oily stuck together clump and portions very small. Fish batter often still wet and undercooked. Such a shame.

Quality has dropped and prices increased since the recent changeover. Tonight’s fish and chips tasted like the frying oil needs changing!

Good food, good portions at a good price

The amount of times I’ve gone into this place on a Friday evening and waited 20-30 mins for fish and chips before giving up and walking away, and every time I see other people doing the same. Staff don’t seem to care much.. but the business owner must wonder how much money he’s losing because of this. Never actually got as far as eating the food so can’t comment.

Couldn't fault this place but quality of things like savaloys has gone downhill the last few times I've visited. They've also started making mistakes with my order which never previously happened. I think they may have changed hands which is disappointing as the old management were fantastic. For people moaning about parking, there's a huge co-op car park 3 minutes around the corner so probably more about their laziness than anything else.

My first visit to Nemo's. My order was taken straight away. I had two portions of fish, chips and a few condiments. It was ok, but not the best. The batter wasn't cooked through, it was smooth, not very crispy. The fish didn't have a lot of flavour. I'll try them again and see if it was a one off. I was also disappointed to have chips in a polystyrene dish. These days fast food outlets should be finding alternatives.

I have had food from Nemo's for years. Always lovely food and always consistent. Really good portion sizes and a excellent value for money. I have now moved out of the town but when I can me and my wife still visit Nemo's and have a takeaway as there is no other Fish and chip shop that compares. The owners and staff are also very nice people. Highly recommended if you fancy having the best fish n chips in East Sussex!. (Burgers are also lovely, freshly cooked on hot plate, not deep fried like some other fish n chip shops I've been too)

Reasonable price and delicious . I have had many take away Chinese food. I felt this shop meals so cheap. And taste was good. Very recommended.

So, have lived here 15 years and have never tried this takeaway. What a waste of my life! It’s f’ing brilliant. Seriously the best Chinese I’ve ever had and my friend is here from Horley for the weekend. It’s the best Chinese takeaway she’s ever had too.

Tried as Yaws kitchen closed. Big mistake! Pork balls very fatty and chewy. No variety on set menu for 3. Asked for crispy duck but it wasn’t included. Spring rolls instead!

Being allergic to food fried in Palm oil, I have to be very careful when ordering takeaways. The guys checked for me and they don't use it. Ordered over the phone and it was ready in 10 minutes.Great food, cooked to order.

We stopped by recently and spoke to the young boy behind the counter about vegan options and his knowledge and willingness to help even though it was really busy was so nice as a lot of people we’ve had experience with just ignore or don’t bother when it comes to vegans. Found a perfect meal for my daughter vegan and happy all round. Would recommend !

Have been here lots of times and every time the food has been cooked to order so always nice and hot, they are always friendly and amazingly remember every order without writing it down! You can also phone an order through if you're in a rush and collect. Would recommend 😀

Wonderful place, brilliant home made beef burger and locally bought skate. We also had three slices of their pistachio and rose sponge cake and honestly, I look forward to my next visit.

By far the best Fish & Chips shop in the area. In most of these type of food shops the service feels very tedious, rushed and numb but at Nemo's Fish & Chips shop I honestly felt like the food was made with care and passion. The customer service I experienced during the short amount of time I was in there was fantastic and I loved all of the staff. Very friendly with a warm family business feel to the place and delicious food.

Very pleased to visit Nemo's. Their fish and chips are fantastic, fresh and delicious, the batter is crunchy, the fish melts in your mouth and the fries are cooked to perfection. The food presentation is also second to none. Tons of good reviews back this up. What a treat!
