Been a lot of times. Never had a bad meal. Lovely waiter.

Now they are closing and I'm sad I didn't visit it frequently enough. Always great fresh food and friendly service. One of the best places in the area. Thank you

Was planning to have fish and chips tonight, Bennet's was closed, Fisssh was having a refurb so I phoned home, what shall I do I asked, come home and we will see what we have in was the answer, I then noticed Hattusa was open so went in and got takeaway for everyone, I had the mixed sish, what a very good chain of events, food was superb, 4 totally clean plates. 5 stars, thank you Hattusa and a happy New Year to you all 👌

Great place to eat in centre of Crowborough. I had mixed kofte - 2 of each type and very nice, flavoursome salad. My wife had 2 of the small dishes - grilled halloumi and flat breads with a minced filling. Both very good and great value. Total incl 2 beers and 10 pc service under 40 pds.

Meat feast is my go to. (Mixed Grill) Food is excellent. Great atmosphere. Perfect service all round. Top draw.

We had a delicious meal with a lot of variety and was fresh and tasty. Large portions and good value. Desserts are TO DIE FOR go for the mixed dessert. Proper Turkish food. Highly recommended.

Had a table for 4 for dinner on a Saturday evening. Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Good Service. And reasonable pricing. Thank you Hattusa! Good for friends, family and couples.

Ordered lunch from here yesterday, I had the lamb chops, and unfortunately I couldn't even cut through them, it was the worst lamb I've had out and I was so disappointed and upset, when I rang the restaurant the poor girl had been given no training on how to handle the situation, not her fault at all she was lovely. I spent £18 on a meal which wasn’t edible I was so disappointed, but you can’t justify charging that much for chewy meat.I was also promised that the manager would all and speak to me today and never did.

Food is still good, but it's ridiculously expensive to sit in a for a meal or delivery.

Extremely quick service and large portions, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Only thing stopping it getting 5 stars is the price, while worth it, is a touch high for my taste. A main dish was priced at between £10 and £15. But very tasty and a good serving. Will definitely go again.

Lovely food and friendly waitress. Looking at the website at their other venues I think it would be great for this venue to have a make over to give it some wow factor. Highly recommended.

It supper-👍👍👍 excellent food freshly made bread cook in the restaurant. Good portion sizes for heathy meals. Other alternative i.e. if you don't like chips you can have something different. Do not forget to order Dolmas 👌👌👌

Great food and service. Came here as a group of 6 and we were super happy with everything. Portions are huge so we were able to take away leftovers. Very friendly waitress - hopefully will be back again soon.

The vegetarian dishes were quite nice, but some of them seemed to be soaking in oil. The Chicken was really horrible, and I usually love chicken dishes. Will probably try elsewhere next time.

Lovely little place lamb chops were the best

While staying at Ashdown park hotel for a few nights, we decided to have lunch at Hattusa after reading the great reviews. The food was exceptional and as two people who do not care much for hummus, this place has the best hummus we’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend the Acili Humus!

Fantastic burger and mixed grill,great portions,avoid the soggy under cooked frozen chips and collect as delivery charge is a rip off. But overall excellent, we will be back

We’ve had a few meals from here during this lockdown and previous. It’s always been ready on time and hot. We love the meat cube kebabs. The chicken is soft and succulent. I don’t know where they get their lamb but it’s tender and sweet, not overcooked. We are partial to the mixed grill which is enough for two. The minced flat bread is tasty, moussaka, courgette balls and filo pastry triangles. Chilli prawns also a good size. Will continue to work our way through the menu and not have to spend a fortune each time. Ps a little pomegranate drizzle on the salad would be lovely.

Had a takeaway from here delivered to my house omg I am so happy food was amazing good value large portions and quick delivery time. The moussaka was the best I've ever had cant wait for another great takeaway next week 👌

Tried this for a Christmas Eve treat but wasn’t impressed. Had a take away Lamb Shish and lamb was poor quality and two bits were very tough. Also no real flavour. Two kinds of rice but ratio of rice to lamb doesn’t work and I threw a lot of rice away. Salad has no flavour.I would pick a traditional kebab from my fav kebab shop in T Wells over this for a take away. It doesn’t beat its competitors in Tonbridge for eat in as no atmosphere and just feels like a cheap cafe sadly.Disappointing as I was excited new choices for Crowborough were coming but this doesn’t do it for me.

I keep going back to Hattusa with high hopes of a tasty Turkish meal as it's the only real Turkish grill option in town and every time it's the same thing. Bland over priced food!! It's such a shame this growing Restaurant is still afraid to season their meat properly, the only thing I can ever taste is the charcoal. Growing up in a Turkish area in London (Greenlanes) where every 2nd shop is a Turkish restaurant and yet they all survive because the standard is so high I'm pretty confident I know my Turkish food. This place is lucky they don't have any competitors where they've opened their grills as they'd really struggle. This will be the last time I waste £24 on a mixed grill to throw half of it away.

Three of us went here last night having booked online. The restaurant has simple decor and is quite plain. The food, however, was absolutely FABULOUS! Amazing Turkish food and almost certainly the best ever we have had in the UK - absolutely sublime! Excellent value for money as well.

Hattusa exceeded expectations. I had heard amazing word of mouth news around Crowborough for months before my visit and can 100% say it lived up to the hype! Will be back here again for sure. 😁

Some of the BEST Anatolian food you will ever have. Having visited #Ruya in Mayfair (London) a few times and also travelled to Istanbul, I feel I am a fair voice. This was without a doubt some of the best food period, not just great Turkish food. During lockdown there were still a handful of socially-distanced tables of people eating but the amount of takeaway orders said it all. People love this place! There are branches in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks. If any of these are even an hour from you, you HAVE to visit! You will not be disappointed. This meal would have easily been double the cost in London (and the rest) and still been totally worth it. The service was amazing, not too pushy and super helpful and attentive - watch out for the twins! Cannot wait to return or just get a takeaway. Keep it up guys, you are smashing it!

We ordered a takeaway and were very pleased with the flavours and food, my kebab was very good and my wife’s vegan mixed box also got the big thumbs up. We will be reordering in the future Staff very friendly.

We ordered for the first time from Hattusa tonight. When we opened our food we were missing 2 portions so rang Hattusa who said it was because they were busy! Barely an apology! We asked for them to be delivered as soon as possible. Nearly an hour later and no delivery so we called back and asked for a refund which I was told they could not do over the phone! So will now be pursuing for a refund further, wonder if anyone will bother to calk me back to explain! If you can't cope with being busy you should stop taking orders! What a disappointment, we were really looking forward to trying the food and this has put us off considerably!

This place could be the best restaurant in the Crowborough with a few changes, We have tried this place a few times and the service let this place down as well as a few dishes! Although the staff are very nice hard working but can not coup due to the design of the restaurant as it has a narrow isle! and the flow of movement is restricted. As for the food the chef can tremendously improve the quality of the Adana Kebabs as it has a lot other ingredients besides the poor quality lamb! Please use a better quality and less of other ingredients so one can taste the real lamb kebab.

Don't be fooled by appearances, small with basic decor, unpretentious, attentive staff, simple menu with very well cooked food at really reasonable prices, and big portions (I couldn't eat it all). Some reviews have said it is cold, but we went early on a Friday evening - it was far from cold, in fact it was very busy and buzzing with obviously happy customers. This was my first visit but we will be back and we will bring friends too.

Four of us went to Hattusa on a Saturday evening and all really enjoyed the meal. The set sharing platter with the hot mezze was really tasty, well prepared and nicely presented. We shall definitely go back as the food was great and excellent value.

Visited a few times. Beautiful food , great value . Gluten free options inc bread which is amazing as this is a rarity in Turkish restaurants . Great service , definitely would recommend !!

After all the positive reviews I felt that our lunch was pretty average, and the service was definitely poor. It didn’t help that it was really cold in the restaurant but the quality of our food was nothing special. My squid was greasy and the salad accompanying the main courses was very tired. There seemed to be only one guy serving and he very clearly didn’t want to be there. Perhaps we visited on a bad day but I don’t think we would return

Love this place. The food is good, the portions generous and the staff friendly and efficient. Recommend it.

Our first try of Turkish food and it is wonderful food here! The restaurant is quite small and tables are close together. I would definitely book ahead, particularly if you want a table for four people, as it was packed on the Saturday night we went. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians. Really lovely to see so many varied and tasty things on a the menu for us veggies and delicately spiced as well. The portions are enormous so if you have a smaller appetite then definitely skip the starters. Dishes are well presented and extremely tasty. Staff are polite and friendly. Wine list is interesting and not overly expensive. This is a really lovely addition to the town. The only criticism (and I can hardly knock off a point) is that lighting is just too bright for the evening. I think they could dim the lighting down a lot as if feels a little too clinical. Aside from that we will definitely return!

We had a takeaway meal for two from Hattusa and it was excellent. A nice change from the usual takeaway choices, it was good value and the menu had a large selection of dishes. We will certainly be going there again.

A small an intimate venue that seems to be busy all the time. Polite and efficient service. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was top drawer, from calamari to the lamb. Very good indeed.

Cold in the restaurant. Dishes lacked flavour. Glutinous Courgette patties with too much uncooked flour we couldn’t eat. Hot dishes weren't very hot probably because of cold plates and cold room temperature.

I came with my son because he is vegetarian and their online menu was encouraging, we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was very high quality. By the time we left the place was packed so book ahead. We'll be back.

Came for a family celebration, could not fault the food or service, which were both excellent. Menu was good too, all the favourites you would expect to find and some Interesting new dishes. We will be back very soon!

Found this restaurant by accident and so glad we did. Food was perfectly cooked lamb chops amazing, lovely waiting staff and good value for money. This little gem of a place deserves to do well.

We have been a few times and as always the food was lovely. We find that sharing the hot meze plus one extra starter is enough for us. My only criticism is that the lighting is really bright and because the tables are very close to each other it is quite noisy when it is busy.

We have used this restaurant before and usually have takeaway from here too. However, decided to go for lunch as they offer a fantastic deal of 3 courses for £9.99 or 2 courses for £8.99. All food cooked to perfection and a great selection for everyone including good vegetarian options. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and all at a reasonable price. Highly recommend and will be back soon!

Great food and excellent value for money. Had sharing menu.£36.95 for the 2 of us..... cold meze to start, beautifully presented and as GF pleased to see they had GF Pitta. Meat platter was more than we could eat so was offered to bring it home! Place was full..buzzing atmosphere loud but friendly. Service good and relaxed. Definitely need to book for a Sat night.

Just picked up a takeaway for the family. Was ready in 15 mins, massive portions, fresh produce and cooked perfectly. Can't fault it. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Searched the website and found this restaurant. It had good reviews and it certainly deserve them. The food was fantastic, service excellent and the atmosphere perfect. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

First visit for my birthday yesterday. Very difficult to find fault with anything. The hot Meze starters were superb from calamari to courgette/feta parcels, harissa chicken wings, calves liver etc. Went for a mixed kebab and every mouthful was juicy, tender and a delight. It was however a proud moment to finish it as it’s the biggest portion of food this side of the Atlantic.

Visited for the first time and will definitely be going back. Great food, good service and lots to choose from. For me there was too much food but probably not a problem for most people! A welcome addition to Crowborough so please support this restaurant as we would hate to lose it.

Went for the lunch meal deal (starter and main for 8.99) . Lovely food, chicken shish was very succulent. Good service. I think portions were a little small if at full price, but maybe they are reduced for lunch offer?? Will be going again!

Pablo expertly manages this little gem on Crowboroughs dull High St. Have eaten there 3 times, and booked again next week as the food is amazing. Restaurant is small and booking advisable in evenings and weekends. Calamari & Lamb chops to die for.

Just had our 5th visit to this brilliant restaurant and again had another outstanding meal! I keep having the same starter and main (calamari and lamp shish) as they are just so good! We will be returning soon and I must try something different. Fantastic and friendly staff and they must have an incredible chief!

We visited here for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

i'm leaving a negative review for a few reasons mainly being this place a fraud. you look at their website and it simply looks amazing, the building is beautiful and everything looks top class where is in real terms things could not be any different. the crowborough branch "as i have not been to any other" is nothing more than an old builders caff with 200 pound "max" spent on decoration, its a disgusting green but not only this its the fact it has been applied by a 2 year old, its all over the plug sockets, the paintings on the wall have not been removed they simply painted around them?, the bathrooms even had paint in the grout. the tables and chairs are super cheap there no more than 10 pound a set from ikea the cutlery is much the same. the door! omg the door! it slams like bomb has exploded every time it closes then you have some sort of sheet as a divider to enter the place just weird. music. the music was so low that it just become an irritating background noise that you could not understand "almost like noise from next door" the staff are nice but all huddle around one end and if your at that end you feel watched all the time. ITS NOT KID FRIENDLY! it has a small kids menu but you can tell they don't want them there, they don't interact with them and all i can say is try to envision a waiter feeding a shark 'lent back far with a pole dropping off food" the food was ok but its got a long way to go before is as good as others and we are most upset as we was led here under false pretenses, good quality family time is everything to us and this was anything but that, we was shown a Ferrari but had a Fiat panda delivered !

Very busy. Very polite staff and happy to greet you. The food is absolutely the best. Succulent meat with an explosion of taste from all the different spices and ingredients. The chilli sauce is home made very unique. The portion sizes for people who love their food is ample. We had to bag up the meal and take it home with us. We will be comming back for more with our friends.

People have told us this place is good and when we saw there are two other restaurants owned by the same people we thought we would give it a go, and booked online. Staff were very friendly and the food good. Will visit again.
