Had some friends down from south London and booked in for Sunday lunch. It was absolutely fantastic with very friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond
Had a lovely evening great food and service. Nicki served us and she was brilliant and very attentive. The only downside was the music was very loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak apart from that the evening was superb
I visited Côte three times in mid-March (two lunches and one dinner!). Luckily the menu is varied enough that I managed to sample different dishes... The staff were great every time, and the food was delicious. There's always a great ambience in there, and if you squint hard enough, you could almost transport yourself into a 'real' French bistro.
Visited with the family today for a roast. There wasn't one thing on the plate that was done well: chewy lump of pork and the crackling wasn't crisp but chewy instead. Veg was almost raw and the potatoes were heated up and just terrible. I could tell that people around me were really disappointed too. It was 1pm on a Sunday and there were a lot of spare tables which tells you a lot . A new chef is definitely needed. The service was excellent however and the staff are really lovely and attentive. Won't be returning that's for sure. Please don't waste your money !
Wonderful. Love it! EXCELLENT Chicken, bacon and mushroom pie.
See photo for details (says it all).
Really pleasant people and a beautiful 15th century pub to boot.
Very disappointed. Very limited menu. Fish - if you could find it in the overcooked batter - was tasty. Chips would have been good but for the salt all over them. Prices high for what one gets now. Service and ambience good though.
We had dinner with a large group of family and friends. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was so attentive and friendly and the food delicious and plentiful. We had a wide range of dishes, from tapas, pasta and paella choices. All were enjoyed. The seafood paella was superb.
Thanks to all La Casa Vecchia, especially Lydia, for looking after us so well and giving us such a great venue and menu for our family celebration.
Extremely friendly, welcoming staff. A very good choice on the menu with choices for Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan. Well presented and tasty food (my Hunters Chicken and Creme Brulee were delicious). Generous-sized portions and good value for money. Can certainly recommend.

Decent stay here. Comfortable beds, nice showers (with good water pressure!). TV signal was pretty bad and the location on Google maps is currently wrong! Make sure you go to the pantiles as that's where it's based.
We have visited here on many occasions, and it never disappoints. Delicious panini and toastie full of flavour. I found it quite amusing when I asked for more mayonnaise 😅
A must visit if you are in this area. We travel over 10 miles because of its quality food in a lovely location
Fabulous cakes. Couldn't fault them , absolutely delicious. Can recommend the incredible Ginger cake, Bakewell and Black forest chocolate cake. Their Baker is very talented.
We had a lovely evening at The Star, the place was buzzing as there was a private function on as well. The food was tasty and good value, service was friendly and attentive. No complaints, thanks for a great evening and for fitting us in when you were so busy.
