Really great food, definitely needed a new burger place after losing Bok Shop, can say Cluck & Blade are on par when them! Hopefully they’ll get the recognition they deserve considering they’ve recently just opened in Eastbourne. Staff are friendly, could maybe do with slightly quicker service and maybe less time talking to their colleagues, but in all fairness it wasn’t very busy when we went. Overall 5 stars!

One would not expect anything serving in a shopping mall to be even halfway decent and who wants to drink coffee in a shopping area? But this place is good. Great coffee, good snack type food and very good value.

Wonderful meal, service and atmosphere. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a delicious meal and great service. This is a local that we have been waiting for!! Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to try some some of the off the cuff mixed cocktails. Thank you all from the table of twelve including the twins 💕

Great for lunch. Brilliant service and very attentive. The gherkins are to die for! Lots of attention to detail. Thanks!

My family and I like this restaurant because it is such a great place to visit for the visitors who come to Tunbridge Wells. Yet I was quite disappointed with the service quality at this restaurant. The staff did not assist customers in resolving seating issues, even though the restaurant was clearly occupied and had no table for eight. We had to move a table ourselves in order to find a place to sit. However, a waitress suddenly scolded us for blocking the walkway — despite the fact that the table was already positioned near the passage, near the right side of the stage. Her voice was so loud that everyone on the stage could hear her, and this made my kids scared. Instead of helping us, she simply told us to leave the table. We moved the table back to its original spot as requested, but she insisted we couldn’t sit there. We had no choice but to find another table. Strangely, less than a minute later, another group sat at that exact same table — and this time, no one told them off for blocking the walkway even they have backpacks hanging on the back of the chair. I genuinely don’t understand what we did to offend her, or whether something had upset her beforehand. Her behavior and the obvious double standard were confusing and disappointing.

Var en tur i Calverley Grounds for en gåtur og da der kom en regn byge valgte vi at gå ind i denne lille hyggelig cafe. Her er servering både inde og ude. Hyggelig typisk engelsk.

I visited Côte three times in mid-March (two lunches and one dinner!). Luckily the menu is varied enough that I managed to sample different dishes... The staff were great every time, and the food was delicious. There's always a great ambience in there, and if you squint hard enough, you could almost transport yourself into a 'real' French bistro.

Booked the private room for a work gathering. It was on the advice of some colleagues - so went with it. Was not impressed that I was told 12.5% would be added to every drink and the buffet. It was non negotiable. On the evening the room looked pretty and the staff were nice, especially the gentleman who I think, may run the restaurant. He was excellent. When I queried the amount of food for the £400 we had paid - he couldn’t have been more helpful in replenishing it. However I thought this was damage limitation, as the snooty serving staff said - yes, this is it! I am not convinced the service charge goes to the staff - so I get her attitude. But overall, it is overpriced and not a patch on Carluccio’s.
