Momentum in Tunbridge Wells

Lovely coffee, saint espresso has my heart. Also can’t leave without that lemon drizzle cake! Well behaved dogs welcome

The staff were friendly and the cakes were good. The coffee tasted nice but was lukewarm. While I was there a customer came in with a dog. One of the staff made a fuss of the dog stroking it for a while. She then went on to handle cups and plates without washing her hands. I don't mind well behaved dogs but feel that the staff should pay more attention to hygiene. Unfortunately this has put me off visiting again.

This small cafe is a delight to be at! Service was great. Cakes were great. We walked in and were immediately served by some wonderful staff. Would definitely re-visit.

Very nice experience with seats outside as well. We had coffee and tea and some carrot cake - delicious. Toilets at the back were also very clean.

Really warm, friendly reception and delicious fare. I had a great vegan sausage roll and a lovely apricot kind of flapjack thing. Quick and good value too.

Momentum is definitely my favourite coffee spot in tunbridge wells. Every member of staff is lovely and I’ve never had a bad coffee there. I love that I can have a great flat white one day and then the next try some amazing specialty coffee brewed however I’d like it. Their snacks and light bites are also fantastic. The location itself is very clean, organised and welcoming. There are other great coffee spots in tunbridge wells but momentum ticks all the boxes for friendliness, quality of experience and of course good coffee. If you haven’t been yet you’re missing out!

I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and cake whilst sitting outside Momentum. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will I visit here again? Yes.

Visited here with my husband and grandson. Service was excellent as was the food. Lovely man served us I think possibly the owner. We had such a lovely time that we recommended it to my son and daughter in law. They visited on a Sunday and were totally ignored by staff. No one came to take their order and the staff had a couldn’t care less attitude. They left without having anything to eat. I think the owner needs to look at who is looking after his restaurant on a Sunday.

Just went in. Nobody spoke to us. Nobody came to our table to take our order. When I approached the counter was told half the menu was not available. We have just left and the staff could not care less.

Really disappointed that you never open on your advertised open times of a weekend which is frustrating because you already open 30 mins later than most coffee shops without the extra wait time. I am usually waiting outside for an extra 20-30mins can’t imagine how many other customers you are losing. Today was the final straw I shall find somewhere else.

I visited this coffee shop for the first time with my husband. I am gluten free and so I asked when we went in and was told that they could do anything with gluten free bread and showed me the cakes they have that were gluten free. The service was very good as was the food.

We've really enjoyed visiting Momentum for coffee that always comes with a warm welcome. The coffee itself is good (Saint Espresso) and easily one of the better flat whites in town.

Today I took my parents & son to have coffee & cake in the sun. The wonderful Victoria was superb. She really knows how to make a business flourish, we loved her recommendations and her coffee was the best we’ve had in the area. We will be back to sample the brunch menu. Thank you for making our day out so special.

The Momentum coffee shop on Mount Pleasant is squeezed in between the bigger shops and can easily be overlooked. But it's a tiny cafe with a big heart! Drop in for a friendly welcome and a great cup of coffee!

This cafe opened just before the last lockdown and we managed three trips then but has remained open since for takeaway. They really do have the best coffee in town together with delicious cakes. Service is friendly and if you order tea, it comes in the cutest pot. They have a few outdoor tables which we have also used a few times but should be opening up for indoor seating again soon. Highly recommend the raspberry bakewell and cappuccino! My favourite cafe in town at the moment.
