Lunch today at Hilltop was an outstanding experience - made even more pleasurable by the irrepressible manager Daren. A traditional English Sunday lunch served in comfortable, spacious - in places quirky - interconnecting dining rooms with attentive and personable staff keeping the buzzing guests fed and watered (or wined). Bowley's is truly an outstanding restaurant situated in a lovely country pub, run by a team who clearly love what they do. Locally sourced, fresh ingredients turned into mouth watering dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff's attention to detail is second to none and they catered for our Dietary requirements with ease and professionalism at short notice. My husband really enjoyed his Birthday here. I can't recommend Bowley's enough and we'll be back sooner than later.

Simple menu but cooked to absolute perfection. Will definitely be back.

Had our first of many evenings at the kings arms, food was lovely and staff were very attentive and polite, thought I wasn’t going to manage dessert but went for it anyways had the waffles with strawberry’s ice cream and sauces “thought id died and gone to heaven” it was scrummy…..

Good golf courses, restaurant great with good priced food. Staff nice and helpful, cant fault the place. Well worth a visit.

Had coffe with friends, best cheese scones ever and excellent value. Breakfasts looked good too and such a worthwhile xharity.

A group of 15 of us booked in for 8:30pm on a Thursday evening, which is after the kitchen normally shuts. However, Jade, the manageress, was very agreeable to cater for us at that time, and the staff looked after us very well. Jade’s tasty food was scoffed by the hungry diners, and all seemed pleased with their evening. The Vegetable Curry was a great hit.

We booked a table for eight and was well looked after by the bar staff and chef Lizzie. The starters were very generous portions, especially the deep fried Brie. We had the beef, pork & mixed roast, all of which were delicious with stuffing, pigs in blankets, cabbage, beetroot, roasted veg, mash, roast potatoes & yorkie puds. Will definately be back.

Such a great time here the other day. Food fabulous and atmosphere so great. Lovely decor too and staff great. Definitely recommend.

We walked down from Birling as the Nevill Bull wasn't serving food, the was a large wedding reception on there but they were really friendly and still happy to serve us food. The menu was good and the food itself was similarly tasty. There was local ale available which we enjoyed, the staff were great with our kids and it was a really nice atmosphere in the pub.

Had a gluten free roast beef Sunday lunch. Was so happy when it arrived with a very tasty gluten free Yorkshire pudding. In most places this is something that is normally not supplied. Well done 👏 👏👏

Absolutely shocking. Desserts look like they are from Brake Bros. My children can present food better.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning

We went at 11:30 and it was very busy we just missed out on the breakfast menu and the lunch menu didn't start until 12 so we were able to have a bacon roll and coffee all very nice
