Bowley's is truly an outstanding restaurant situated in a lovely country pub, run by a team who clearly love what they do. Locally sourced, fresh ingredients turned into mouth watering dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff's attention to detail is second to none and they catered for our Dietary requirements with ease and professionalism at short notice. My husband really enjoyed his Birthday here. I can't recommend Bowley's enough and we'll be back sooner than later.

Food was very tasty and decent portions but starting to get a bit expensive in my opinion so will push customers away over time. Ordered on New Yearās Eve so food took a couple of hours to be delivered but was informed 40 to 60 minutes initially. Please donāt price yourself out of business.

We had a drive to find a nice countryside pub, so found the Kings Arms and stopped off. Had a couple of pints, missus on the coke as she was driving. I had the lamb shank roast, missus had the chicken salad. Both were spot on in taste and presentation. Veg was fresh and the lamb just fell off the bone. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be back.

This is a lovely pub, with a fire and restaurant on the one side and a traditional pub on the other side. We went on the restaurant side and all enjoyed a fabulously tasty starter. My wife had the crab and I had a really creamy tasty leek and potato soup. The problem came with the main. Billed as a roast lamb, we were served a lamb steak, which had been roasted. If youāre going to serve a lamb steak, then print your menu properly. The lamb was chewy and not lovely slices of lamb carved from a joint. Very disappointing, as the venue is fabulous, but the main dish was a huge let down

Enjoyed a catch up with my friend over a glass of wine and a very tasty lunch .I had the steak & ale pie, mash ,gravy and vegetables .My first choice was the mushroom pie but they had sold out .Welcoming and cheerful staff .Log burning fire was cosy on a cold January day ! Furry friends welcome and biscuits & fresh water for them too ! There is an outside area for warmer days !
