Great food which is good value. Lovely atmosphere. Relaxed and friendly. Superb hosting from the lovely Darren who has a terrific memory for names and faces. Makes you feel special.

I was delighted with the lunch Alex & his staff prepared for myself & a family friend of more than forty years. The selection of dishes available to suit most tastes The ingredients, the presentation of the food was a work of art. The flavour of the crab bouillabaisse was instantly exhilarating. The turbot delicately dressed in a tasty broth,enhanced by mussels, capers & shallots was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience we were very well looked after!

Food was very tasty and decent portions but starting to get a bit expensive in my opinion so will push customers away over time. Ordered on New Year’s Eve so food took a couple of hours to be delivered but was informed 40 to 60 minutes initially. Please don’t price yourself out of business.

Lunch here today for birthday celebrations. Ages ranged from 3 to 91, everyone had a lovely time. Staff made us very welcome. Food was very good especially the belgian waffle with salted caramel ice cream. Had 3 dogs with us also made welcome

Welcoming pub with a festive atmosphere, especially on karaoke nights, efficient service, and generous, high-quality cuisine. Located in the middle of a beautiful village.

Good golf courses, restaurant great with good priced food. Staff nice and helpful, cant fault the place. Well worth a visit.

Had coffe with friends, best cheese scones ever and excellent value. Breakfasts looked good too and such a worthwhile xharity.

Lovely pub! A nicely done aesthetic greets you, a lovely menu with lots of choice from which the dishes we tried were all beautifully cooked and delicious, the staff were very attentive, polite and caring. Overall 10/10 and we will be back for our Saturday dinner again!

Great smiling staff, always on hand. Food was good quality, a little overpriced for what we all had. But a lovely country pub and would visit again if in the area.

I have given 3 stars, because unfortunately the food didn't really suit my diet. Salmon with cheese on top was the best dish I could find. The cheese didn't complement the fish at all. The service, however, was excellent. The atmosphere outside in the sun was lovely 😍

Absolutely shocking. Desserts look like they are from Brake Bros. My children can present food better.

I try to keep this a secret as I fear if I tell too many people how incredible this place is, I won’t get a booking. But I cannot keep anything so good to myself. The roast dinners are out of this world, marry that with the fantastic service and we have the best pub in Kent 🥰

Ridiculous long wait for a bacon roll and cold coffee that arrived even longer after the bacon roll.
