Tastebuds Cafe at Spadework in Tonbridge and Malling

Had coffe with friends, best cheese scones ever and excellent value. Breakfasts looked good too and such a worthwhile xharity.

We came for lunch on a weekday and indoors was almost full. Service was great-really helpful adapting the veggie breakfast to be vegan-and food was nice. The menu is small but has a good range for breakfast or lunch including veggie and vegan, jacket potatoes too for GF :) There’s a big outdoors so definitely recommend, especially on a nice day.

The tastiest brie and bacon toastie ever. Very well presented with excellent ingredients at a reasonable price.

I brought my mum here today as a change from Mote Park Cafe and we thoroughly loved it! Great toasties and coffee, and excellent service as we showed up just after the kitchen was supposed to stop serving hot food (4pm). Thank you so much, will definitely be back!!!

I am often here with family, and always love the food and high quality service. Although all the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, I have to say that I have consistently seen James go above and beyond to provide great customer service. Well done guys

Wonderful charity backed garden centre which is part of teaching facility for young people with learning disabilities. Plants and garden supplies are top quality with some items crafted on site. My recycled water butt was a great find at £30. There is a well stocked farm shop with all the best in local produce. You must visit the on site cafe. Friendly staff and the best sausage sandwich I have ever eaten.

First visit here. We both had Brie and bacon toasted sandwiches which were lovely, packed with filling and full of flavour with a perfectly sized side salad. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Just a few points which would have made this better: A menu on the table to look at. No drinks menu available, why? Was shocked how expensive a teabag in a mug was - £2.75. Some people appeared to have a teapot, maybe you have to request this? Very disappointing. Lastly no prices on scones, cakes etc. My elderly mother was paying and it would be nice to know how much things cost before ordering.

Both lunch and breakfast amazing. Delicious breakfast served on hot plates. Reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. Nice selection of cakes to choose from.

A pleasant enjoyable place to visit with excellent food. A small menu but what we ordered from it tasted very nice and empty plates by all. Staff very helpful. An relaxing vibe for the cafe with an excellent ethos.

This was our book group's first meeting of the new year so we decided to lunch together. 12 of us met. We pre-booked and pre-ordered and everything was perfect. We all sat together at our reserved table; the service was friendly and the food excellent at very reasonable prices despite the cost of living crisis. We shall certainly lunch there again.

I wanted to mention Emily, James and Sarah who always provide an excellent welcome and service when Izabella (our dog) and I visit. The greeting of ‘the usual?’ is a true reflection of exceptional customer service of which I am most grateful.

Really good baked potatoes here - soft fluffy and hot! We visit quite often for lunch and always find it quick, clean and friendly. Staff are always nice and the surroundings are relaxed and bright. Easy safe parking and fully wheelchair accessible.

I wanted to take my daughter for lunch somewhere different . We arrived at 12:00 .lunch does not start until 12:15pm - so this gave us time to walk around the garden centre and shop. We went for lunch on a sunny day midweek in July before the school holidays commenced. It has a huge car park and lots of seating in the cafe and outside. The staff were pleasant and helpful - there are numerous teas and different coffee cafetière options available. We ordered tasty toasted sandwich each (£5-6), which were freshly prepared with a side salad and coleslaw. The menu also included sandwiches, soup and several hot meals including sausages and mash and fish and chips (£12.90), which is a bit pricey for such a cafe. The cakes also looked good, but we resisted the temptation. Many of the plants in the garden centre were drooping, as it was a hot day.We look forward to a return visit.

Good all round place to visit there is a cafe, farm shop and garden centre. Food always good, shop has lots of quality items and garden centre lots of excellent plant ideas.

Bee here a few times for lunch and what a pleasant place it is. Nice friendly staff and the food is very good. They now have a more extensive menu to choose from which makes having lunch here very good.It is run mostly by volunteers and the handicapped people are always happy to help you.Such a nice place to visit, relax and enjoy.

Loved the homely decor in this small restaurant in the charity run garden centre.Not the largest menu, but we went for Sunday lunch and that's what we had. Vegetables were grown by them apparently. The meal was delicious, perfectly cooked potatoes!Dessert was possibly the best Apple crumble I have ever eaten!Lovely staff, nice menu, great food pretty venue clean toilets, what's not to like?

We have eaten there for many years. The food is fine and one is pleased to be giving work to people with problems.

A fabulous lunch served by friendly staff on this our first trip. We sat outside with dogs and no problems at all.

We arived at Tastebuds whilst the Royal Wedding was on television, looking for a light lunch after a long drive. We were not disappointed. My wife and I had the quiche of the day, asparagus and cherry tomato which was flavoursome and served up with a side salad, which ws fresh and crisp. The beautiful weather helped of course but we enjoyed our meal greatly. Children had Ham egg and chips, which were served up promptly, and were voted a "hit" by the children, All washed down with lemonade etc. After looking round the garden centre we returned to finish off our meal with cups of tea.

This place exudes friendship and love.

A wonderful concept giving support to young adults and a great place to visit. There is Avery good nursery with some lovely plants, vegetables and flowers all season. Also good selection of garden sundries.
