A lovely little cafe with the most adorable cats. The staff were super friendly and the hot drinks we had were absolutely delicious. The cats are all clearly very happy and well looked after and a couple came and sat on our laps and interacted with us. A great price for a cute afternoon treat. Would recommend.

One of the best, most chilled cat cafes I've been to. Having a restrained amount of people on at one time is clearly good for the cats, who are very sociable and relaxed around people. Much better than busier cafes where cats tend to hide from too many people or too much noise. Reservations required and food is simple and well presented. Looking forward to going again!

I think they should review the prices, €25 an hour per private area? It does not include anything, it is very expensive, and it is per person. Is the cat going to talk to me or what? I went to a Cat café in Finland and it cost me €5 a ticket. It discouraged me a lot because the entrance is already expensive and then you also spend inside to consume... For €25 it is better to go to the biopark..

Booked an afternoon slot for the "Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea" on Saturday with my partner, and I have to say it was absolutely brilliant 👏 😀. We loved every minute of it. Had a lovely set up when we arrived, our table was decorated to a Alice in Wonderland theme, including four pots of sweets!! lovely, friendly, courteous staff greeted us. The food was gorgeous, especially the milk shake! As you can see in the pictures, we didn't leave much on the plates lol. It was nice to know the money we spent, (and it has to be said it was worth it,) all went to a good cause to help all the rescue cats that are housed there. All in all a very pleasurable, relaxed experience was had by all, would highly recommend trying this to anyone.

Lovely place to hang out with some cats for an hour or so - 20 of them when I went; very friendly. Good menu to choose from - nothing too complicated since you're eating around cats (which will nosey around your food, especially if there's cream involved) Staff are friendly and will answer any questions you have about the resident cats or anything cat-related. Can definitely recommend a visit if you like kitties, coffee and cake.

The cats are amazing , so well looked after , loved and cared for, and you can see how happy and settled they are. The staff are very friendly and it is obvious how much they totally understand the cats and their needs , and they love them to pieces. And their well being is very important to them, and they make sure that the cats are well respected by the customers and not stressed . My friends and I had the best time , and we will definitely go back. I can not recommend it enough . And the benefits for your mental health and general well being by being with the cats and in the cafe are priceless. Really wanted to enjoy this place but really the cats just don't seem that happy. Take away the cafe side of it and you'd see a hoarder cat situation where the cats are not getting their needs met. It's a small space for so many cats (I have 2 and they have more room and a garden) they just didn't appear to be thriving. I could smell the litter box room half way up the stairs, just imagine having to go toilet in a room that smells that badly. They pride themselves on the cats not being adoptable but that was the saddest part. This small cafe is there 'forever' home.. the cats were mostly younger cats who will never get to experience a peaceful existence with their own family. Can't help to think they picked younger ones to avoid potential vet bills. Overall I left feeling bad for the cats and not feeling like they were in a great environment but more an accessory for the owners to make money from.

I have lots of difficulties and problems so hearing a cat cafe i thought what a great idea, i came up with my career to visit the cafe, when i arrived i saw the price 10 to enter, that is a lot but i thought okay I am here, then i read though the entire list of rules, it didn't allow you to do anything, i saw two ladies in their stiff as a board as they couldn't do anything but watch, is this a cat rescue were you want cats adopted out or a place for your personal cats?, how is anyone meant to see if they get along with a cat is you cant interactive with them. This cafe would be amazing if run properly, the interior was grubby and messy, it is a shame don't waste your time here.

Paws cat cafe has always been really good when I've visited. Plenty of cats (the most important part!), lovely staff and straight forward cafe style food. The cafe is laid out well for photography, comfy and there's never been any rush to leave bang on an hour. As of 2024, £10 gets you in and a drink. I feel this is fair value. Probably best to book but I've always been lucky with walk in appointments. I do visit outside of school time. What a lively cafe! The cats are extremely well cared for and have plenty of places to go if they are fed up of the 2 legged ones. There were several children there- all following rules. The staff were brilliant at introducing the cats, esp to younger visitors and an elderly visitor. We had multiple snuggles with various cats. The coffee was passable but nothing more, cake/biscuits were basic. They could do so much more on the catering side. Toasted sandwich was underwhelming. My friend said it had very little taste. That said, we’ll be back. I’ve bribed my Mum that when she recovers from hip surgery, we’ll visit this cafe.

This place was full of furry cats (obviously) and was a great experience for me, and the service was good and the staff were very friendly and chatty. However if you’re looking for a fun afternoon out but with good food, I don’t think this place is for you. The milkshakes were watery and plain, they didn’t even taste like what the menu said. The coffee and hot chocolates were the same. The scones were hard and my clotted cream tasted like a very cheap and bitter version. Even though the staff make the rules very clear, there were still people picking the cats up and my cousin even got scratched by one of the tabby cats. I’m sad my first cat café experience was not as I expected it to be but I hope you can improve your food because of my review.

UPDATE (Response to reply): Disagree all you like, this review is non biased and what has been observed. As for your no children's policy, perhaps familiarise yourself with your own website - it's the FAQ section to save yourself some research time as I'm sure you're very busy fixing all the broken climbing apparatus since our last visit. It was a shame of a visit really - all I can suggest is not to visit during half term or on weekends. The place was filled with children running around and annoying the cats, making them distracted and standoffish. Bit of a shame considering their "No Children" policy? At one point a child P'd off a cat to the point it lashed out at the kid and made him cry...great now we had crying screaming kids during our visit. It's also in disrepair and dirty, the poor cats need brushing and room to move around on furniture that isn't half falling apart. Theres no forethought for the cats either, no climbing apparatus' no tunnels, it all just looked thoughouly boring to be totally honest...I really wanted to rescue the cats from the cafe! You all need to take some serious pointers from the London cat emporium, who have done this with significantly more success.

It's the second time I visited and once again I was so impressed by how the welfare and happiness of the cats is central to the whole enterprise. It is quiet - only a few guests so as not to overwhelm the cats and lots of fun things for the cats. There is also a large room upstairs for cats and staff only. This is for cats who do not feel like being sociable at any given time. They have a nice folder explaining the history of each cat. It was touching to read that one cat who did not like being in the cafe consequently now lives with the owner. Thank you for your care and for a great experience.

Yet again a lovely visit to Paws (we've been going regularly for years). Would 100% highly recommend. Elaine, Lauren, Megan and all the other helpers do a great job. The cats are really loved and well looked after. Food and drink really reasonably priced. Can't believe the bad reviews from 3 on the same table re: the 2 year old who they bought in for a visit. There's never been complaints before from people with young children. The cats are all rescues and can easily get spooked so maybe not a place for 2 year olds. Lauren and Elaine are always on the customers sides and try to accommodate young children, a lot of other cat cafes dont. Everything they do is in the best interests of their cats. So if there's anything happening that upsets or scares their cats then they're going to speak up. Also the tables have NEVER had sharp dangerous edges so if a 2 year old was sitting nicely and behaving at a table then how would they bang their head??!!! That's not the cat cafes fault.... and if you really didn't like it there why didn't you just leave! I feel those 3 people just wanted something to moan about. I can't just sit back and allow 3 people to discredit a really good cafe that are doing so much to help cats without homes and mistreated cats and who work so hard to make and keep this a good and respected cat cafe. UPDATE* I WAS NOT TOLD TO STICK UP FOR PAWS CAT CAFE, NOTHING WAS SAID TO ME ABOUT THE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE, I SAW THEM MYSELF AND IT WAS MY OWN CHOICE TO GIVE MY OPINION OF THE 3 CUSTOMER REVIEWS WHO ONLY GAVE 1* AS I THOUGHT THE 3 PEOPLE GIVING THE 1* WERE TOTALLY UNFAIR. ALSO IN NO WAY IS IT BULLYING. THE PERSON/PEOPLE IN QUESTION HAD THEIR OPINION SO THE ABOVE IS MINE.

Update She maybe nice to other people but that was not the case for us. She was hostile towards us for some reason. To lie about how apparently awful our 2 year old was to protect yourself is just out of order. Then to use others to leave 5* reviews to side with you just shows how awful person you truly are bullying a toddler and her mother. My sister and I left honest reviews and true accounts, but your reply was very personal and personally attacking an innocent 2 year old and her mother. I’m entitled to leave my own review, as you charge per person for an entrance fee. Will not be going back! We booked for three adults and a two year old. Two year old hit her face on the table, she was crying in pain and suddenly the lady at the desk came over immediately, with no sympathy, yelling at a two year old to stop crying! How can you see a toddler with a bruised head and bleeding lip to stop crying? Afterwards we just sat in silence and left shortly after. Have been to many cat cafes and have never experienced this level of uncomfortableness.

Don’t take kids! They only accept kids to take money and will only make you feel uncomfortable as soon as you step in. We went to support the charity, fully aware the cats are rescued cats! There is no stopping or preventing a TODDLER from crying!!! The staff member caused more harm to the cats by yelling and panicking. Maybe there is a good reason other cafes who do not allow under 10’s! They obviously have this rule to protect the cats. Total cost for us to sit at a sticky hazardous table for 3 adults and a child, £50. Cream tea is overpriced, we only had one teaspoon and a small bowl of clotted cream and jam between the 3 of us. I understand it’s a cat cafe, but a staff member literally saw a cat eat our jam and didn’t even offer to replace it. Really not worth the price or time, would rather sit in a skip with a takeaway costa. Update (response to the reply) We paid £20 extra for the entry tickets so yeah pretty much close to £50 and also paid for parking. How is a 2 year old affecting your mental health? I have anxiety & depression yet I still treat people with kindness not a excuse to be rude to a customer. It was actually you who made my experience bad you was really rude to me and made a sarcastic comment you made me feel so anxious that didn’t help with my mental health. I also read similar reviews like mine from the past 5 years they also said the same and said they had well behaved children. Even people went without kids left not so good reviews about your customer service skills. As we were paying 6.50 each you should have given us a separate pots and we literally only had 1 spoon of jam to share and you charged me extra for cream when I asked so it’s not like you gave it to me for free. we can all individually put out a review of our experience.

Update; Wow! You have completely lied in your reply! I have video evidence of my daughter throughout the visit! My daughter the first time yelled “Mummy!” (this being the first scream) and the 2nd time she cried because she hit her head on the sharp table edge. She was sat in an adults chair and her head was nearly the same height level with the table! If you allow children to eat then you should provide child high chair!!! Your cafe is unsafe and hazardous for young children. You completely lied about her not being seated appropriately. You did not ask me for anything, I had to tell you she was bleeding so you stopped yelling at us!! She was crying for 40 seconds!!! I breastfed my daughter immediately to calm her down! You did not even come to check after if she was okay! You have CCTV, please show on here how my child was so terrible????!!!! The worst you ever experienced!!! I have video evidence and if anyone would like to see for themselves how well behaved my 2 year old child was! In your previous 1* comments you have responded back to numerous comments regarding children making noise! You yourself have advised people not to visit on weekends and half terms as it is louder! We did not lie about how much we spent! We spent £20 on entry fee for 3 adults and 1 Toddler, we then ordered the cream tea’s, milkshake and cookies which came to around £50!!! So how have we lied??? You are saying a child needs to stay mute and seated at all times!! Maybe I will visit on the weekends/halfterms without my “disturbing child” to see how quiet it is!!! Every where I take my 2 year she is appreciated and people comment on how lovely and well behaved she is! I think you are a disgusting person to lie about how awful my child was. Yes! We didn’t say anything when we left, my daughter was distressed and I wanted to leave without adding extra distress to my daughter. You also didn’t seem the type of person who could handle any constructive criticism. As I left, I actually spoke with a customer who was present during our visit and she shared her concerns and made sure my child was okay. I believe you are the one that cannot cope in your own environment and maybe you should go and enrol yourself into a customer service course!! You can’t use the poor cats to always defend yourself! I left an accurate & honest review, I can provide evidence. I’m sure this won’t be the last bad review you receive regarding their small child/toddler. Never again!! I feel so sorry for my 2 year old daughter. She is a cat fanatic and absolutely adores cats. She has 3 cats at home; she understands the importance of being patient and quiet around cats. When we arrived she was so overwhelmed to see so many different cats and with that excitement she screamed just the once! I then explained to my 2 year old daughter to sit on the chair and calmly wait for the cats to approach her and she happily and quietly did so. Few minutes later, my daughter injured herself on the table. The table edge was very sharp and she ended up with a cut to her head and lip. A staff member abruptly ran over and started frantically asking me to stop my daughter being so loud. My daughter was crying because she was in so much pain. I then said to the staff member my daughter is bleeding!! She stopped being so frantic and went off to get a wet paper towel. The rest of the duration we sat in silence. My daughter then cried she wanted to leave. I felt very uncomfortable, it is obviously not toddler friendly and they should just say so and make changes to their policy! To add: My toddler was very excited but well behaved. The way I was spoken to was as if my toddler was running around and screaming the whole duration!! She was sat down on the chair eating her biscuit and smiling at the cats. Again to mention that she actually only screamed the once! in the beginning out of excitement and the 2nd time she cried because she hurt herself on the table. Very depressing atmosphere, rude customer service and definitely not toddler friendly!!

I visited the cafe yesterday with my boyfriend and had the best time! There are around 20 cats in total which are all incredibly sweet and will come up to you for cuddles and to play. The staff are so lovely and very knowledgeable about the cats. It’s clear they love the cats and the cats adore them. It was lovely to see so many rescued cats being so well looked after and loved. There were good options for food and it was very affordable. The whole atmosphere of the cafe was friendly and wholesome. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back.

Took my 16month daughter to the cafe! With younger children you do need to phone in advance. She loves it here so much she gets so excited and it's a great way to teach her to be gentle. There is a white cat called Dave (i think) he is so good with younger children. The food and drink are reasonable and yummy. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They will tell you all about the cats. We will definitely be back The cats are super cute too. They literally come up to you. Some cats were sitting on peoples laps. If you love cats this place will not dissapoint!

This cat café, unlike many others, is a really cosy and welcoming place. Throughout the years, we have visited many cat cafés, thus one ranks in the highest places. The cats are relaxed, as they can stay within the café and are not rehomed. That leads to the cats being a family and getting along with each other, feeling more confident. As for the food and drinks: Scones (savoury) are nice, drinks too, even though I did not like the coffee too much (however, I am terribly complicated when it comes to coffee 😅). There is quite a range if stuff you can buy, even cards which were produced by the staff. Recommended.

The cat cafe experience was absolutely delightful! The ambiance was cozy and relaxing, with cute feline friends scattered around the room. The cats were well-behaved and seemed to enjoy the attention from the visitors. The staff was friendly and informative, explaining the rules and introducing the cats. The menu had a variety of drinks and cake to enjoy while petting the cats. The overall atmosphere was calming and enjoyable, making it a perfect place to unwind and spend some quality time with furry friends. Highly recommended for cat lovers and those seeking a unique cafe experience.

Just do not take small children here. Mine was fine but the staff were very wary. They should be. They love cats. Small kids can be little terrors. But mine wasn't (contained in carrier) but still made to feel awkward. You also have to pay a full hour (stayed 30 mins) since it felt kind of hostile. Tea was fine.

Staff are really friendly and clearly have good bonds with the cats. The cats are super duper cute! Both times I’ve been I haven’t got loads of love from the cats, I think they’re probably just tired and not always in the mood for petting. I’m fine with that because I could just watch cats all day! But just don’t go expecting the cats to want to hang out with you as they might not fancy it. Ive only seen guests be respectful to the cats here (unlike another cat cafe I went to) which is really important. Also it’s only a fiver for an hour - much cheaper than any cat cafe in london and it’s good vibes all round. I’ve had nice convos with other guests both times I’ve been, it’s great to bond with other cat fans 💜 Also we were super late because of a long journey and they were really great and let us share a table so we could stay for the hour which they didn’t have to do so thank you guys! The scones are HUGE and I had one of the tastiest chocolate milkshakes I’ve had in a long time. FYI If you’re vegan there’s limited food options but they had some sweet treats, and they have alt milks.

The coffee is fine but the service was awful. Waited 43 minutes for a toasted sandwich. Had to remind the staff twice that we were waiting only to be told it was coming. Last reminder, having waited then 35 minutes, we were then told they were short staffed and only had one chef??? and one grill. We were not told when ordering that there would be such a long delay just for a toasted sandwich. More organisation is needed.

Great local pub and staff are always friendly. They do some classic pub food served very casually - no gastro prices here! Sports are normally on but there's places to sit away from that if you like. Pool table at the back too. There's also some great local history which is worth looking into, especially if you're interested in world war 2. A spitfire crashed in the rear garden and some relics from that are on display, and a plaque dedicated to the pilot is above the door. There is a detailed display about a German Heinkel He111 bomber (serial number 3233, V4 + KL of 3/KG1) which crashed nearby stocks green and was displayed in the front car park to raise money for the spitfire fund during the Battle of Britain
