Hidden little gem. Walk through the antique shop to a bright small but beautiful tea room. Staff were incredibly friendly. Tea was superb and cake, well let’s just say it was hard to stop at one slice! Antique delicate china always seems to make tea taste better! Little games on the tables make it perfect for a get together with friends and even for children. Lovely views overlooking an orchard which was stunning. Will definitely be returning!

We discovered this great village Pub Restaurant a year or so ago and have made many visits and never been dissapointed in any way. Family run with great ladies giving excellent service at Bar and Food service together with a great chef. Always a good Beer or two available as well as food. Two menus during weekly service, a 2 or 3 course meal at very reasonable prices, plus specials and a varied choice etc. Various events also with garden and indoor comfortable venue. Highly recommended.

Loved this pub (apparently after a recent change of management). I was on a long walk and this was the halfway point. Dog and myself were made to feel very welcome and worked our way through a plate of fabulous pork loin and two pints of cask ale in short notice. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. A little off the beaten track if you are arriving by car, but I wasn't and it was exactly on our track! Many thanks.

Awful Chinese. It used to be one of the best around. The service was fine but. 8 very very small prawn balls tasted okay but the sweet and sour sauce was vinegary. The chicken in the chicken curry was very chewy and watery. Crispy chilli beef had no beef in and was nothing but fried batter. Overall it was tasteless overpriced and small compared to other local Chinese takeaways. Avoid!

Lovely pub but a bit of a walk from the car park and definitely not any suitable access for disabled people The food was nice but very expensive with a limited small menu with non of the normal dishes on there. A small starter was £9.00 alone so we only had that with 2 drinks

We haven't been here for a while but it was just as good as we remember. Everything we ordered was excellent and the landlord was particularly helpful with wine advice. I like a nice pale but the local Chapel Down was out of stock too so I ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio. The landlord offered us tasters of a South African rose & the Pinot. We went for the excellent SA Pinot blush, which I would not normally have chosen.
